Having to play three times in a 26-hour span is no easy task at any level of hockey, to do all of it听 during an elimination scenario makes what Ontario Hockey Academy Prep (OHA Prep) did all much sweeter.

OHA Prep was entered this finals as the away team, winning back-to-back games on Saturday to give themselves a berth into the finals versus a more rested Bishop’s College School.

The first period would feature a lot of shutdown defence and goaltending from the likes of Sky Willer (27/32) and Oliver Kiraly (41/43). It wasn’t until late in the first where OHA Prep captain Adam Racine (1G, 1A) wired one past Willer to give his team the initial lead.

Come the second, OHA Prep started to find their groove and there was no looking back. Takanobu Hiraga (2G) scored back-to-back goals just 10-seconds apart to put OHA Prep up a score of 3-0, completely shifting momentum into their hands. Later down the line, Marcus Fjeld and Oliver Nilsgaard would connect to once again increase their lead while the Czech-import Tomas Lukes added another to their total in the latter end of the frame. OHA Prep would leave the second up a score of 5-0.

Bishop’s College would show more push in the third despite the odds of a five goal comeback. Elliot Wright got the scoring started for Bishop’s just over five minutes into the frame while Wyatt Scott would add a second some time later. OHA Prep HC Brent Loney would use his timeout after surrendering the second goal to bring his team back down to Earth for the final moments of the contest. From then on out, OHA Prep was doing everything in their power defensively to hold off the potent 6-on-5 pressure from Bishop’s.

A dump in from Bishop’s would bounce just wide of the goal, which Kiraly opted to play and ultimately lift down the ice. Kiraly’s clearance ultimately ended up in the back of Bishop’s empty cage for the second goalie goal in CSSHL history, first in the Eastern Division. After Kiraly’s goal and 41-save performance, OHA Prep was able to seal up the Eastern U18 title with nearly all the odds stacked against them.

This is the second title Ontario Hockey Academy has brought home since the conception of the CSSHL Eastern Division, succeeding last season’s OHA Maroon team that took home the Eastern U17 title.

Bishop’s College School are Eastern U17 Champions after overcoming a 5-3 deficit in the third, capturing their first title as a member of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL)

As the scoresheet would say, this was a back-and-forth affair with many ups and downs as play chugged along.

Champions Hockey Academy (CHA) had the upper hand on Bishop’s College after the opening twenty, as Declan Kennedy put CHA on the map with a powerplay goal to round out the first.

Into the second, CHA would double their lead as Jackson Shaddick (1G, 2A) capitalized shorthanded. However, shortly after this marker, Nate Ostridge would get Bishop’s College on the board with his fourth of the playoffs. Just a couple minutes later, Dominic Schnarr (3G, 1A) would tie things up off of a breakaway in close, benefiting off a poor CHA line change. CHA would strike back with a pair, both coming off the stick of Lucas Stevenson (2G) to restore their two goal lead. Bishop’s College would substitute Timofey Williams (16/19) in net for Felix-Antoine 脡mond (17/20) after succumbing to CHA’s third goal.

Tensions would begin to flare after CHA’s two goal spurt, but both teams would keep their composure heading forward as each team would trade goals once more before the end of the second, leaving CHA on top by a score of 5-3.

Into the final frame, Bishop’s College came out and stated their intentions immediately as Schnarr completed his hat-trick just 54-seconds into the period. Later in the frame, Zach Jockers (2G) would round out the scoring for Bishop’s tying everything up at 5-5 with just over ten minutes to go in the period. A few minutes later Bishop’s Brandon Fuicelli deflected home the go ahead goal, giving Bishop’s their first lead of the game after being down by as much as two goals on two separate occasions. However, CHA wouldn’t back down and they would go on to snag a fortunate deflection themselves as Ty Mulcahy (1G, 1A) tipped home Will Carroll’s (3A) point shot. This would be enough to force sudden death overtime.

Just 24-seconds into the extra frame, Zachary Roussy would find Jockers down low. Jockers would make a quick move to the net where he would slide one on goal where it would fortunately graze past Scott LeBlanc (14/16) and clinch Bishop’s their first ever league title in CSSHL competition.

After a jam-packed four days of action from Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan, QC, the 2024 Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL) Eastern Division finals are prepped as Bishop’s College School will be featured in each matchup, facing off against Champions Hockey Academy and Ontario Hockey Academy Prep in the U17 and U18 divisions, respectively.

In each of their first seasons in the CSSHL, Bishop’s College and Champions Hockey Academy will faceoff in the Eastern U17 final.

Based out of Sherbrooke, QC, Bishop’s College will play host after going 4-0-0 in the round robin, sending them to the finals as the top seed. Head coach Kyle Hood was behind the helm of this potent Bishop’s College squad as they steamrolled their way through the round robin, outscoring their opposition 29-5 across their four contests.

During the regular season, Bishop’s College was led in scoring by Gavin Rusenstrom, who picked up 14-points in 8-games played. However, with Rusenstrom unavailable for the postseason, Candiac, QC native Emanuel Di Paolo stepped up his role, picking up 5-goals and 7-points over the tenure of the round robin. Alongside Di Paolo, Zach Jockers (1G, 6A), Adam Straka (5G, 1A), Taitt Dobbin (3G, 3A), and Logan Charby (3G, 2A) all played considerable roles in Bishop’s College’s offensive dominance.

On the other side of the coin, Bishop’s defence and goaltending has also been top notch. Along with their production on the offensive side of things, Nate Ostridge (3G, 2A) and Zachary Roussy (2G, 2A) have been a formidable force in the defensive end and neutral zone, making their goaltender’s job a whole lot easier. In the crease, Felix-Antoine 脡mond and Timofey Williams have split the work to average a 1.25 GAA and a 0.914 SV%. 脡mond himself has picked up two shutouts and has yet to allow a single goal past him so far this postseason.

As for Champions Hockey Academy, coached by Jonathan Harty and based out of Fredericton, NB. They will enter these finals with a chip on their shoulders, having lost to Bishop’s 6-1 in the round robin. However, following their loss to Bishop’s, Champions has yet to surrender a single goal against since.

Martin Hackenberg and Scott LeBlanc have combined for three shutouts, blanking OHA White, Ulysse Academie and Mount Academy en route to the Eastern U17 finals. In terms of offence, Newfoundland’s Declan Kennedy (4G, 3A) has been the relied upon source, potting 4-goals across the round robin. Jackson Shaddick (2G, 3A) reigns in at number two in team scoring after coming off a two goal effort in their final round robin win over OHA White. Charlie Morrison (1G, 2A) has remained consistent on the blueline after coming into the postseason as the highest scoring defenceman in the Eastern U17 division.

The puck will drop early at the Complexe JC Perreault as the Eastern U17 final will commence听at .

In the Eastern U18 division, Bishop’s College will once again take the spotlight as the top seeded team through the round robin and semi-finals. Coached by Brodie Dupont, Bishop’s has centred their U18 squad around an extremely potent offensive core with the likes of Gabriel Le Houillier (6G, 6A) and Leo Adam (6G, 2A) who both led the Eastern U18 regular season in PPG. Le Houillier’s 12-points are enough for pole position in points during the playoffs while Adams sits at third behind fellow teammate Dylan Rud (1G, 8A) who has found his knack as a playmaker during these playoffs.

In goal, Bishop’s has split the crease between their three goaltenders as Sky Willer, Carlo Giordani and DJ Patriss have split the load and combined for a 1.67 GAA and a 0.933 SV%.

As for Ontario Hockey Academy Prep, the Cornwall, ON academy coached by Brent Loney, carved their path to the finals after failing to secure a bye to the semis, forcing them into an early morning quarter-final. They took their quarter-final matchup over Ulysse Academie with a score of 4-3 and would later cling on to victory over Bourget College in the afternoon after a potent three goal first period.

Oliver Kiraly played a huge role in each of OHA Prep’s elimination game victories, stopping 40/43 shots in their match vs. Ulysse and sticking out a lengthy 6-on-4 penalty kill scenario late in the semis. Kiraly’s experience will be looked upon in the finals, having lost in the Eastern U17 finals last season with Mount Academy, falling to OHA Maroon by a score of 5-3.

OHA Prep’s offence has seen many avenues of success during the playoffs, as Cole Shepherdson (6G, 2A) ran the show in the round robin with 5-goals, while Norwegian imports, Marcus Fjeld (4G, 3A) and Oliver Nilsgaard (3G, 2A) each came up big in their quarter and semi final games respectively. Team captain Adam Racine (1G, 3A) has also been a two way force on each end of the ice while the rest of the forward core is also finding ways to chip in where they can.

The Eastern U18 final will commence after the Eastern U17 final听at .

King Heights Academy (3) vs Mount Academy (4) Eastern U18 Quarter-Finals

Without a hat-trick effort from Mederic Allard (3G) Mount Academy鈥檚 season could have very well come to an end at the mercy of King Heights. Allard and Jesse Gauthier would round up the first two goals of the game, giving Mount the advantage coming out of the first. However, Timur Naurzbaev鈥檚 point shot would trickle in for King Heights late in the second, cutting their deficit to one before the second intermission. King Heights would come swinging out the gates in the third as David Barranco would tip home Fidel Yebenes鈥檚 (2A) point shot to tie the game up at 2-2. Shortly after Barranco鈥檚 equaliser, Allard would storm back to quickly take back the lead with a powerplay goal and would quickly add the insurance marker just a couple minutes later. King Heights pressed onward in the end, eventually picking up a third goal, but with only 5-seconds to spare in the contest, it was already too late. With this victory, Mount Academy moves on to face Bishop鈥檚 College later this afternoon.

Ulysse Academie (3) vs Ontario Hockey Academy Prep (4) Eastern U18 Quarter-Finals

After falling down 2-0 early to Ulysse Academie, team captain Adam Racine (1G, 1A) was able to get OHA Prep on the board before the end of the first. Then in a low scoring second, the first goal wouldn鈥檛 come until the latter moments of the frame as Marcus Fjeld (1G, 2A) and Oliver Nilsgaard connected on a 2-on-0 to tie things up for OHA Prep. Come puck drop in the third, OHA Prep picked up right where they left off as Takanobu Hiraga bested Victor Larin (28/32) on a breakaway to give them their first outright lead of the match. Later in the frame Mavrik Chan-Miguel (1G, 1A) would bury home a loose puck in close to extend OHA Prep鈥檚 lead. With their season on the line, Ulysse threw everything they could at Oliver Kiraly (40/43) and OHA Prep. 脡mile Dupuis would snag one late, making things a one goal contest but Kiraly would come up with a couple more key saves to secure OHA Prep the victory to advance to the semis. Kiraly鈥檚 40-saves, including 19 in the second, proved to be the difference maker. OHA Prep is set to take on Bourget College later this afternoon.

Ontario Hockey Academy Gold (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Ontario (3) Eastern U18 Consolation

It only took 55-seconds for Odd Henrik Hytteback to find the back of the net for OHA Gold, although this was quickly equalised by OHO鈥檚 Callum Aus (2G) just over a minute later. A late tally from Theodor Abercrombie would put OHA Gold back on top before the ice clean. A rowdier second saw OHA Gold expand their lead by another two. Jeremey Deschambault-Perron (1G, 1A) would snag the first one then Vincenzo Di Rocco (1G, 1A) would score on a penalty shot just 23-seconds later. Come the third, the guns were blazing for OHO, outshooting OHA Gold 16-7 and picking up another two goals to make it a one goal affair. OHO had a powerplay opportunity late, but squandered their chance after taking a tripping penalty of their own halfway through the man advantage. Hakon Eskeland (34/37) would remain steady for the rest of the contest, turning aside 34-shots in the end to lead OHA Gold to a victory in the Eastern U18 consolation matchup.

Mount Academy (4) vs Bishop鈥檚 College School (6) Eastern U17

Adam Straka continued his postseason hot-streak alive, scoring just 22-seconds into play to give Bishop鈥檚 College the early lead. Taitt Dobbin (1G, 1A) and Emanuel Di Paolo (2G) extended Bishop鈥檚 lead with a few more tallies in the first before having their groove stunted by Jeremy Gould, scoring with only 18-seconds left in the frame. Shane Delamaire (1G, 1A) brought Mount Academy one step closer early in the second but later had that goal matched by Dominic Schnarr (1G, 1A). Goals would keep being traded from here on out, eventually leading to a 6-4 victory for Bishop鈥檚 College as they finish the round robin a perfect 4-0-0.听

Ontario Hockey Academy White (0) vs Champions Hockey Academy (5) Eastern U17

Despite an impressive 65-save effort in goal by Sasha Bravo (65/70), OHA White was not able to generate any offence over the potent CHA. Jackson Shaddick (2G) polished off the scoring with a two goal effort while Declan Kennedy (1G, 2A) continues his impressive playoff run with a three point effort. Scott LeBlanc (11/11) picked up the third shutout of the postseason for Champions as they鈥檙e set to take on Bishop鈥檚 tomorrow morning in the Eastern U17 final.

Ontario Hockey Academy Prep (4) vs Bourget College (3) Eastern U18 Semi-Finals

Playing in their second match of the day, OHA Prep had all the odds stacked against them playing against a rested Bourget College. However, Oliver Nilsgaard (2G) was able to get the show started for OHA Prep just 76-seconds into the game. Marc-Antoine Riopel would follow up shortly after for Bourget but another two markers would put OHA Prep back in front. Both teams would trade goals in the second, leaving OHA Prep with a two goal lead into the third. Bourget would have their opportunities. Lucas Gon莽alves got Bourget back to within one in the opening half of the frame. Eventually Bourget would see a 6-on-4 chance late in the frame, but Oliver Kiraly stood tall and held down OHA Prep鈥檚 fort, ultimately sealing the victory and securing a final appearance for the Cornwall, ON academy.

Mount Academy (1) vs Bishop鈥檚 College School (8) Eastern U18 Semi-Finals听

Not a single Bishop鈥檚 College skater left the ice without a point in their semi-final victory over Mount Academy. Bishop鈥檚 entered the third up 3-1 and took off for five unanswered goals in the third. With the offence firing on all cylinders, Sky Willer (32/33) held down the fort in his own end, keeping things tidy for the Sherbrooke, QC based school as they advance to the finals in their inaugural CSSHL season alongside the U17 team.

Ontario Hockey Academy White (3) vs Ulysse Academy (5) Eastern U17

Despite being outshot 10-4 in the period, OHA White had the early lead on Ulysse after Harrison O鈥機onnor bagged one. However, Ulysse鈥檚 offence would come through in the second as F茅lix Maltais (1G, 1A) and Alexis Boyer (1G, 1A) scored two in the frame. The scoring would open up in the third as Ulysse and OHA White would trade goals back and forth. Unfortunately for OHA White, Ulysse would still finish on top in this contest. William Ethier (17/19) came out with the win in goal while OHA White鈥檚 Sasha Bravo (46/51) put in a valid effort in the loss.

Mount Academy (0) vs Champions Hockey Academy (4) Eastern U17

Martin Hackenberg (20/20) is yet to be beat in goal for Champions Hockey Academy during the Eastern Championships, racking up a 20-save shutdown to improve his shutout streak to 120-minutes. On the offensive front, Declan Kennedy (2G, 1A) was having a productive morning, picking up two goals and an assist in the 4-0 win. Jackson Shaddick (2A) and Charlie Morrison (2A) would each pick up a pair of assists in the victory as well.

Okanagan Hockey Ontario (3) vs Ontario Hockey Academy Prep (9) Eastern U18

Cole Shepherdson (4G, 1A) laid down the pain in OHA Prep鈥檚 offensive showcase over OHO. Alongside Shepherdson鈥檚 four goal effort, Justin Gregoire (2G) picked up a pair while Marcus Fjeld (1G, 1A), Oliver Nilsgaard (1G, 1A) and Hugo Allard (2A) all recorded two points. Despite the loss, Kevin Podgurny (24/33) played his heart out in goal, making sprawling save after sprawling save in the second with a couple unlucky breaks in the early and latter portions of the second period.

King Heights Academy (2) vs Bishop鈥檚 College School (5) Eastern U18

King Heights stunned Bishop鈥檚 College early only, scoring right off an early offensive zone faceoff, leaving one free for Murad Safarov (1G, 1A) to jam home. Despite the strong start, Bishop鈥檚 College would begin to press hard, leading to the first goal of the night for Gabriel Le Houillier (3G, 2A). Le Houillier would go on to participate on each of Bishop鈥檚 College鈥檚 goals going forward, netting a hat-trick and picking up two helpers. Vytas Lenkutis would score another for King Heights early in the third, but that鈥檚 all the offence that would seep through DJ Patriss (15/17) Friday evening.

Ontario Hockey Academy Gold (5) vs Mount Academy (6) Eastern U18

A steady back-and-forth affair made for a nail biting finale between OHA Gold and Mount Academy. Mount Academy left the first on top leading 3-2, Brandon Gauthier netting the go ahead goal at the time. Mount Academy would add another two in the second while Jeremy Deschambault-Perron kept OHA Gold in it, scoring shortly after Mount鈥檚 fourth goal. The third period had OHA Gold labelled all over it. Theodor Abercrombie (3G, 1A) polished off his hat-trick, making things a one goal game with less than four minutes left, but nothing else was getting past Elliot Boulianne (23/28) for the short remainder of the contest, leading Mount Academy to a 1-1-0 record at the end of the round robin.

Ulysse Academie (0) vs Bishop鈥檚 College School (4) Eastern U17

Felix-Antoine Emond (17/17) secured his second straight shutout of the playoffs after turning aside 17-shots from the hungry Ulysse Academie. A strong offensive showing in the first was enough to wrap up the game for Bishop鈥檚 College after Logan Charby (1G, 1A) scored his second shorthanded goal of the postseason, while Adam Straka showed his resilience, scoring after being bumped to ice.

Ontario Hockey Academy White (4/OT) vs Mount Academy (3) Eastern U17

After a scoreless first, Carter Christensen would score on a penalty shot for OHA White to break the ice. Later in the second, Mount Academy would get on the board thanks to Cogan LeBlanc (1G, 1A). The third would see plenty more action. Jacob Leger gave Mount Academy their first lead of the match early in the frame, but OHA White would secure a two goal swing after Nolan Mason (2G, 1A) scored back-to-back goals on the scoresheet to put OHA White back in control. Shortly after Mason鈥檚 second, Henri Colin David Frenette would tie things up for Mount Academy, forcing an eventual overtime. In the extra frame, it only took 17-seconds to find out victor as Harrison O鈥機onnor netted his second of the postseason to clinch OHA White the win. Ivan Petrov (39/42) put up a valued effort in the win, nearly turning aside forty shots while his team was outshot 42-26.

Ulysse Academie (4) vs Mount Academy (1) Eastern U17

In this tightly knit affair to open our Thursday at the Eastern Championships, Ulysse Academie would strike first after Nicolas Beuachamp (1G, 1A) found twine just past the halfway point of the period. Thomas Lefebvre would add to Ulysse鈥檚 lead, scoring two minutes into the second. Mount would show some pushback later on and were rewarded with a goal from Sebastien Savoie. However, this jolt of life would be quickly negated as Alexis Boyer would score for Ulysse just over a minute later to restore their two goal advantage. Ulysse would add another in the third, cementing a 4-1 victory at the Complexe JC Perreault. William Ethier (23/24) turned aside 23-shots for the win in goal, coming just shy of the shutout.听听

Bishop鈥檚 College School (6) vs Champions Hockey Academy (1) Eastern U17

Bishop鈥檚 College鈥檚 offence was clicking, but if it weren鈥檛 for a couple of massive Timofey Williams (25/26) saves this could have been an entirely different story. Thanks to Williams, the volatile Champions Hockey Academy didn鈥檛 score until the third period, but at that point they were facing an uphill battle, being down 4-1. Bishop鈥檚 College would add two more in the final frame, including a shorthanded goal from Logan Charby (1G, 1A) off of a sweet feed from Emanuel Di Paolo (1G, 2A). Bishop鈥檚 College improves to 2-0-0 in the round robin with that huge win over CHA.

Ulysse Academie (3) vs Ontario Hockey Academy Prep (5) Eastern U18

Ulysse Academie had the early jump on OHA Prep, scoring 51-seconds into the contest with a valid effort from Emile Dupuis. OHA Prep would strike back in the second, stripping Ulysse of the lead with two late goals thanks to Cole Shepherdson and Takanobu Hiraga. The offence would keep flowing in the third as Marcus Fjeld (2G) potted two more for OHA Prep. Ulysse would add another two but the otherwise steady performance from Oliver Kiraly (16/19) was enough to hold them at bay as OHA Prep went on to secure their first win at the CSSHL Eastern Championships.

Bourget College (4) vs Mount Academy (3) Eastern U18

Mount Academy was up 2-0 early in the second period after Matthew Hebert buried a powerplay goal. Bourget would get their call shortly after, leading to a powerplay marker from Mathys Blanchette (2G). Mount would restore their two goal lead later in the frame but were immediately matched with another strike on the powerplay from Blanchette, securing his second multi-goal game of the postseason. In an emotional third, Bourget would ride the wave of Blanchette鈥檚 late goal, scoring off a turnover early in the frame thanks to a snipe from Felipe Miguel Miron. Later in the period, defender Thomas Hudon would wire one past Jason Tremblay (27/31) to give Bourget their first lead of the game, which they would hold on to for the remainder of the match, securing a 2-0-0 record in the round robin.

CIH Academy Green (2) vs Bishop鈥檚 College School (11) Eastern U18

Gabriel Le Houillier (2G, 3A) and Leo Adams (4G) flexed their offensive prowess that they showcased so often in the regular season, picking five and four points respectively at the Complexe JC Perreault. It all started with a four goal first and second period, with an extra three in the third. Colin Leeb and Mark Andrew (1G, 1A) would get two on the board for CIH Academy Green in the loss as they fall to 0-2-0 in the round robin.听

Ontario Hockey Academy White (0) vs Bishop鈥檚 College (13) Eastern U17

Bishop鈥檚 College opened up the Eastern Championships with a bang, netting thirteen goals in the first game of the postseason. Thomas Dandurand (1G, 2A) got the scoring started just over a minute into play, igniting Bishop鈥檚 streak of terror on OHA White. Bishop鈥檚 would add another four in the first, five in the second and three in the third. Felix-Antoine Emond (11/11) stopped all 11-shots in goal for Bishop鈥檚 while Ivan Petrov (75/88) fended off 75-shots from the barrage of 88 he saw through sixty minutes. Only a single skater was left off the scoresheet for Bishop鈥檚 in their statement victory.

Okanagan Hockey Ontario (2) vs Ulysse Academie (3/SO) Eastern U18

No scoring would occur for the greater portion of this opening Eastern U18 contest. Kevin Podgurny (45/47) went a solid 16/16 in the first period, keeping OHO alive after being outshot by more than ten. The second period would also feature no scoring. OHO would have more of an emphasis on offence in this frame, but Ulysse鈥檚 Zachary Bergeron (22/24) was a perfect 9/9. The scoring would finally make its rounds in the third, with Anakin B茅rub茅 getting Ulysse Academie on the board first. OHO would fire back with two of their own thanks to the efforts of Leonard Ess and Jordan Laroda. However, Lucas Loiacono would tie things up with only spare time left in the third, forcing an overtime and eventually a shootout. In the shootout, Maverick Roux-Paranteau would show off the stickhandling before burying on while Cl茅ment Valette successfully pulled off 鈥淭he Kucherov鈥 to put the pressure on. Bergeron would go on to stump both of OHO鈥檚 shooters, helping Ulysse secure their first win in the postseason.

Ulysse Academie (0) vs Champions Hockey Academy (3) Eastern U17

Charlie Morrison opened up the scoring for CHA late in the first after carrying an impressive amount of momentum through-and-through. The goal scoring would continue in the second period as Bryson Robinson and Lucas Stevenson scored just 1:38 apart. From this point out, Champions held down the fort and wouldn鈥檛 give Ulysse a sliver of hope, shutting down their offence with a lot of praise to goaltender Martin Hackenberg, racking up the shutout.

Ontario Hockey Academy Gold (1) vs Bourget College (6) Eastern U18

In the dying minutes of the first period, OHA Gold was able to squeeze in the game’s opening goal off the stick of William Thurlbert. OHA Gold would come into the second with this lead until the halfway point of the frame, where Bourget鈥檚 Lucas Gon莽alves tied things up. Bourget would keep the pressure coming as Marc-Antoine Riopel nabbed his first of the playoffs with little time remaining in the period. Entering the third, Bourget took complete control after Oliver B茅langer scored one off the rush to extend Bourget鈥檚 lead. This lead would grow even more after Mathys Blanchette (2G) wired one home on the powerplay. Bourget鈥檚 lead would peak at five as they took the first game of their postseason with a score of 6-1 over OHA Gold. Jack Barrington (43/44) put up an impressive performance in the win, making 43-saves in the process.听

King Heights Academy (2) vs CIH Academy Green (1) Eastern U17

After going winless in the regular season, King Heights has clasped on to their first win of the 2023/24 season. In a stunning performance, Justin Sullivan (46/47) was able to shut down CIH Green with a 46-save performance to give King Heights a 1-0-0 start to the postseason. CIH Green and King Heights traded goals in the first, but the goal that came in the second thanks to Timur Naurzbaev would go on to be the ultimate game winning marker.
