Former RHA Winnipeg student-athletes Eric Alarie and Hudson Thornton have signed professional contracts, with Alarie joining his ECHL team for the remainder of the season.

The Winnipeg, MB duo of Alarie and Thornton joined RHA Winnipeg for the 2017/18 U15 Prep season. Alarie tallied a team high 55 points in 30 games, leading to the Moose Jaw Warriors would select the forward in the first round, 22nd overall at the 2018 WHL Draft. Thornton would finish with 29 points in 30 games as the Prince George Cougars selected the defenseman in the second round, 33rd overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.

The following U18 Prep season Thornton and Alarie would finish first and second in team scoring with 47 and 46 points respectively.

Alarie spent five season in the WHL with the Warriors before joining the Seattle Thunderbirds early this season. In 280 WHL games he tallied 79 goals and 108 assists. Alarie has signed an ECHL contract with the Adirondack Thunder, having played six games with two points so far.

Thornton joined Prince George full time for the 2021/22 season. He would spend three seasons with the team including captaining them this year. In 207 total WHL games Thornton has tallied 56 goals and 140 assists. Thornton remains with the Cougars in the middle of their WHL playoffs, but has signed an AHL contract with the Hershey Bears.

Former BWC Academy forward Ethan De Jong has signed an American Hockey League (AHL) Contract with the Bakersfield Condors for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.

The North Vancouver, BC product played two seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CCSHL). He joined BCW Academy for the 2014/15 U16 Prep season where he recorded a team best 21 goals and 37 points in 24 games. The following U18 Prep season he would lead the league in assists (38) and points (61), playing in 35 games.

Having affiliated to the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for nine games with the Prince George Spruce Kings in 2015/16, De Jong would join the team full time in 2016/17, recording 30 points in 43 games. He would lead the Spruce Kings in scoring in 2017/18, finishing with 63 points in 50 games. That season De Jong would win a gold with Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge, tallying four points in five games.

In 2018/19 De Jong joined Quinnipiac University and and tallied 144 points in 184 NCAA games over 5 seasons with the team. In 2020/21 Quinnipiac University were NCAA (ECAC) Regular Season Champions and this past season they won a NCAA National Championship, their first in program history.

Carter Savoie has signed a National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Level Contract (ELC) with the Edmonton Oilers after they selected the St. Albert, AB forward in the fourth round, 100th overall at the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.

Savoie spent the 2017/18 season in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX), finishing fifth in the U16 Prep division in scoring with 58 points in 34 games. Selected in the ninth round, 198th overall in the 2017 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft by the Regina Pats, Savoie would add an additional eight points in five CSSHL playoff games, helping NAX capture the CSSHL U16 Prep Western Championship.

He would make the jump to the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) the following season with the Sherwood Park Crusaders, finishing with a team best 42 assists and 73 points in 58 games, good enough for fifth in league scoring. His impressive season would be capped with AJHL (North) All-Rookie Team, AJHL (North) All-Star Team, AJHL Rookie of the Year and Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) Top Rookie honours.

Savoie would return to the Crusaders for the 2019/20 season, leading the AJHL with 53 goals in 54 games, while his 99 points were second in the AJHL to teammate Arjun Atwal. Savoie would once again be named to the AJHL (North) All-Star Team as he helped the Crusaders to an AJHL best 98 regular season points. The Oilers would select Savoie in the NHL Entry Draft at the conclusion of this season.

In 2020/21 Savoie would join the University of Denver for the NCAA season. In 24 games he would score 13 goals and 7 assists, while earning NCAA (NCHC) All-Rookie Team honours.

2021/22 would be a historic season for Savoie as he would finish with second on his team in scoring 45 points in 39 games, including a team best 23 goals, as Denver would go on to be crowned NCAA Division I Champions.

Following the conclusion of his NCAA season, Savoie would sign an Amateur Tryout-Out Agreement (ATO) with the Oilers American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors. Savoie would play two games for the Condors before signing his NHL Contract, effectively ending his 2021/22 season.

The Bakersfield Condors have signed Lethbridge Hurricanes forward Dino Kambeitz to a one-year AHL/ECHL deal for the 2021-22 season.

Kambeitz has spent the last four seasons in the Western Hockey League (WHL), captaining the Hurricanes during the 2020/21 season. Kambeitz, who was drafted in the fifth round, 90th overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft by the Victoria Royals, played in 211 WHL games split between the Hurricanes and Royals and amassed 42 goals and 50 assists.

Prior to his WHL career Kambeitz spent the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons with Edge School in Calgary, AB. In 57 Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL) games across the U16 Prep and U18 Prep divisions he tallied seasons of 37 and 33 points. During the 2016/17 season the Parker, CO native helped Edge win a CSSHL U18 Prep Championship.
