Lindsay spent two seasons in the CSSHL with Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (PCHA). He joined the program in 2015/16 tallying 8 goals and 16 assists at the U16 Prep level. The next season the defenseman would record 11 points in 26 U18 Prep games.

He would eventually make the jump to the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Victoria Grizzlies, playing 80 games over three seasons. The Prince Rupert, BC native would finish his BCHL career with 4 goals and 19 assists.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges is an NCAA Division III program located in Geneva, New York.
