Aleksey Chichkin and Benjamin Kindel have signed Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development agreements with the Calgary Hitmen.

A defenseman from Burnaby, BC, Chichkin spent four seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL). He joined the league in 2018/19 with the West Van Academy U15 team, tallying 27 points in 29 games helping West Van capture a U15 CSSHL Western Championship.

He would spend the next three years with BWC Academy, playing one season each for their U15 Prep, U16 Prep and U18 Prep teams. In 70 CSSHL games with BWC Academy, Chichkin would record 32 points while capturing a U18 Prep Western Championship during the 2021/22 season.

Chichkin has spent the 2022/23 season in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Merritt Centennials tallying 7 points in 31 games.

Selected in the second round, 43rd overall by the Hitmen at the 2022 WHL Draft, Kindel has spent the last three seasons in the CSSHL.

The Coquitlam, BC forward joined BWC Academy for the 2020/21 U15 season, tallying 11 points in 6 games. He would return to BWC Academy for the 2021/22 U15 Prep season, adding 47 points in 22 games, good enough for second in team scoring.

This past season Kindel played for the Yale Hockey Academy U18 Prep team where he finished second in team scoring with 46 points in 29 games.

Kindel made his WHL debut with the Hitmen on Sunday, March 26 against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Merritt Centennials have added a trio of 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athletes for the 2022/23 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season.

A defenseman from Burnaby, BC, Aleksey Chichkin spent the past four seasons in the CSSHL. He joined the league in 2018/19 with the West Van Academy U15 team, tallying 27 points in 29 games helping West Van capture a U15 CSSHL Western Championship. Another BWC Academy product who has spent four years in the CSSHL, Ryder McIntosh originally joined the CSSHL with Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) at the U15 division. In 29 games during that 2018/19 season, McIntosh would finish with 32 points, second on his team. His 30 points in 30 U15 Prep games the following season would lead all OHA skaters. The Langley, BC forward would join the BWC Academy U16 Prep team during the 2020/21 COVID-19 shortened season, finishing with five points in three games. During the 2021/22 season, McIntosh would finish with 46 points in 34 games as he helped BWC Academy capture a U18 Prep Western Championship.

A sixth-round pick, 120th overall by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft, Diego Johnson has played the last three seasons in the CSSHL, all with OHA. His 48 points in 26 U15 games were second on his team during the 2019/20 season. The Fort St. James, BC forward would score 10 goals and add 4 assists in just 10 U15 Prep games during the 2020/21 COVID-19 shortened season. In 32 U17 Prep games this season with OHA Black, Johnson would score 18 goals and add 24 assists.

Ward spent three seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL), joining the league in 2018/19 with the Delta Hockey Academy U15 team, recording 6 points in 14 games. He would join the West Van Academy U16 Prep team as an underage player in 2019/20, adding 4 points in 36 games. The Kamloops, BC defenseman would re-join Delta for the 2020/21 season, finishing with three points in four U16 Prep games.

Ward would join the Merritt Centennials for the 2021/22 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season, scoring 3 goals and adding 6 assists in 37 games.

The Merritt Centennials have added a pair of 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athletes with the signings of Liam Davidson and Sam Ward.

Davidson spent three years in the CSSHL with Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA). He joined the program in 2017/18, spending two seasons in the U15 division. In 59 U15 games, the defenseman who is originally from Trondheim, Norway, 41 points. In 2019/20 he would suit up for the OHA U16 Prep team, finishing second on the team in goals (11) and third in assists (14) and points (25), all tops among OHA defenseman. His 11 goals were tied for first among all CSSHL U16 Prep defenseman.

A defenseman from Kamloops, BC, Ward has spent the last three years in the CSSHL. He originally joined the league in 2018/19 with the Delta Hockey Academy U15 team, finishing with 6 points in 14 games. He would spend the following season with the West Van Academy U16 team as an underage player, tallying 4 points in 36 games. This past campaign he would return to Delta and lead their U16 Prep team in scoring with two goals and one assist in four games.

Forward Brett Roloson has committed to the Lake Superior State University Lakers for the 2021/22 season.

Roloson spent three seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with Shawnigan Lake School. He joined Shawnigan in 2015/16, spending that season and the following playing for their U17 Prep team. In 52 U17 Prep games he would tally 69 points, winning a CSSHL U17 Prep League Championship in 2015/16. In 2017/18 he would record 46 points in 35 U18 Prep games.

That season Roloson would play four British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) games for the Cowichan Valley Capitals. He would make the jump to the BCHL full time the following season, joining the Merritt Centennials before being traded to the Powell River Kings in 2019/20. In 108 BCHL games Roloson scored 25 goals while adding 28 assists.

Lake Superior State University is an NCAA Division I program located in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Lakers are a member of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) conference.

A pair of former 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athletes have signed National Hockey League (NHL) contracts.

Brandon Duhaime has signed a two-year contract extension with the Minnesota Wild, while Pavel Gogolev has signed his three-year entry level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Duhaime was drafted by the Wild in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Duhaime spent three seasons with Pursuit of Excellence (POE), including two in the CSSHL, joining the program in 2011/12. In 37 U18 Prep CSSHL games the Parkland, FL forward recorded 32 points. He would go on to play one season in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the Merritt Centennials, along with one season in the United States Hockey League (USHL).

In 2016/17 Duhaime would join NCAA program Providence College, spending three seasons there before signing his NHL entry level contract with the Wild on April 17, 2019. He would spend the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Iowa Wild, tallying 29 points in 87 games.

Gogolev spent the 2014/15 season in the CSSHL, as he played for POE for two seasons. In 16 U15 Prep games the Russian forward tallied 12 goals and 5 assists. He would make the jump to the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in 2016/17. He would play four seasons in the OHL with the Peterborough Petes and Guelph Storm, recording 182 points in 219 games, winning an OHL Championship in 2018/19 with the Storm.

Having went undrafted in the NHL Entry Draft, Gogolev would split the 2019/20 season between V盲sby IK in Sweden and the AHL鈥檚 Toronto Marlies. After an impressive AHL campaign that saw him finish with 6 goals and 6 assists in 13 game, the Leafs signed Gogolev to an NHL entry level contract on July 29, 2021.
