The Penticton Vees have signed 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athletes Hiroki Gojsic and Gabriel Guilbault for the 2022/23 British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) season.

A second-round pick, 23rd overall at the 2021 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft by the Victoria Royals, Gojsic played two CSSHL seasons with St. George鈥檚 School. The Langley, BC forward recorded seven goals and three assists in six U15 Prep games in 2020/21. He would lead the U18 Prep team in scoring in 2021/22, scoring 29 goals and 22 assists in 32 games.

Selected in the third-round, 61st overall by the Kelowna Rockets in the 2021 WHL Draft, Guilbault joined BWC Academy in 2019/20, tallying 19 goals and 23 assists in 30 U15 games while being named the CSSHL U15 Most Valuable Player. The Burnaby, BC defenseman would record seven assists in six U15 Prep games during the 2020/21 campaign, before adding 20 points in 30 U18 Prep games in 2021/22. Guilbault would add two assists in five playoff games that season as BWC Academy would be crowned CSSHL U18 Prep League Champions.

Ryan Upson has committed to Bentley University Falcons for the 2022/23 season.

Upson spent three seasons in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) including the 2021/22 season with the Langley Rivermen, where he had 18 goals and 26 assists in 46 games. He spent the 2020/21 season with the Penticton Vees where he recorded 21 points in 20 games, and the 2019/20 season with the West Kelowna Warriors, tallying 12 points in 54 games.

Prior to joining the BCHL, the West Vancouver, BC forward spent three years in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with West Van Academy. He joined the CSSHL in 2016/17, recording 16 points in 29 U16 Prep games. In 2017/18 he would finish with 33 points in 36 games, before exploding for 18 goals and 42 assists during the 2018/19 season.

The Falcons are an NCAA Division I program located in Waltham, Massachusetts and compete in the Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHA).

Former 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) forwards Jayden Davis and Finlay Williams have committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Davis spent two seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with Edge School. Selected in the third round, 66th overall by the Medicine Hat Tigers in the 2018 Western Hockey League (WHL) Draft, Davis tallied 36 points in 26 U16 Prep games during the 2018/19 season. He would follow that up with 45 points in 26 U18 Prep games during the 2019/20 season with Edge School.

He would join the Spruce Grove Saints for the 2020/21 Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) season, tallying 15 points in 16 games. Now in his first full AJHL season, the Calgary, AB forward would record 54 points in 48 games while being named to the AJHL North All-Rookie Team.

Williams played for BWC Academy for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. In 29 U15 Prep games he would record 32 points, leading to the Swift Current Broncos selecting the North Vancouver, BC native in the third round, 54th overall in the 2018 WHL Draft. Williams would score 12 goals and 30 assists in 32 U18 Prep games the following season, before joining the Prince George Spruce Kings in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for the 2019/20 campaign, tallying 31 points in 40 games. He would join the Penticton Vees in 2020/21, spending the last two seasons as their captain while recording 55 points in 42 games.

The Fighting Irish are an NCAA Division I program from Notre Dame, Indiana competing in the Big 10 Conference.

Former Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Taylor Ward has signed a National Hockey League (NHL) contract with the Los Angeles Kings.

Ward originally joined OHA in 2011/12 with their U15 Prep team. He would spend that season, and the next, recording 143 points in 110 games. He would return to OHA鈥檚 U16 Prep team in 2013/14, now part of the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL). In 24 CSSHL games Ward would tally 12 goals and 20 assists, leading his team with 34 points. In 2014/15 Ward would win a CSSHL U18 Prep Championship with the OHA White team, finishing tied for lead in team scoring with 50 points in 28 games.

The Kelowna, BC forward would join the Penticton Vees in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in 2015/16 where he would tally 9 points in 56 games. He would follow that up with a 23-point season as the Vees captured a BCHL Championship. He would return to the Vees in 2017/18, finishing with 44 points in 46 games.

In 2018/19 Ward suited up for the University of Nebraska-Omaha where he would produce 27 points in 35 games played. That season Ward was named to the NCAA (NCHC) All-Rookie Team and earned NCAA (NCHC) Rookie of the Year honours. In 2019/20 Ward would make the NCAA (NCHC) Honorable Mention All-Star Team with 22 points in 26 games. In 38 NCAA Division I games this season, Ward led his team in goals (19) and points (39).

Ward has since joined the Ontario Reign in the American Hockey League (AHL) for the remainder of the season, having recorded three assists in two games.

Ward is the son of former NHLer and current OHA staff member Dixon Ward.

Former 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athlete Kaeden Lane has committed to Northern Michigan University for the 2022/23 season.

Lane spent two seasons in the CSSHL with BWC Academy. In 2016/17 Lane finished with a U16 Prep best 2.30 Goals Against Average (GAA) on way to being named the U16 Prep Divisions Top Goaltender and helping BWC Academy capture a CSSHL U16 Prep League Championship. He would spend the following season with their U18 Prep team, once again winning the Divisions Top Goaltender award while finishing with the best GAA (1.45) and Save Percentage (.946%).

The Burnaby, BC native joined the Grande Prairie Storm in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) in 2018/19, playing there for two seasons. In 2020/21 he would move to the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) with the Penticton Vees, leading the BCHL with a 1.13 GAA and .951 SV% in 16 games, while recording 5 shutouts. In 17 games this season, Lane has a 2.03 GAA, .910 SV% and 3 shutouts.

Northern Michigan University is an NCAA program located in Marquette, Michigan. The team competes in the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).

Two year 麻豆传媒入口 student athlete Josh Niedermayer has signed to compete for the British Columbia Hockey League鈥檚 Penticton Vees for the 2020-21 season.聽

Last season, the Newport Beach, CA product recorded 10 goals and 10 assists (10-10-20) in 36 regular season games for Okanagan Hockey Academy Red鈥檚 U18 Prep team. The five foot eleven defenseman also added one assist (0-1-1) in two BDO CSSHL Championship games which were cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.聽

In 70 career CSSHL games, Niedermayer totaled 48 points, registering 23 goals and 25 assists (22-23-48).
