]]>Moss has signed with the Medicinet Hat Tigers after he was originally selected in the 10th round, 217th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft by the Kamloops Blazers.
The Port Moody, BC defenseman joined Yale for the 2020/21 U15 season, tallying one point in four games. The following CSSHL season he would tally one assist in three U15 Prep games. During the 2022/23 U17 Prep season, Moss would record 5 goals and 18 assists in 34 games.
Plante joined Yale in 2018/19, tallying 12 points in 29 U15 games. The following season the Langley, BC forward recorded 16 points in 30 CSSHL U15 Prep games. He would spend the 2020/21 season with the Yale U17 Prep team, producing seven points in five games.
Undrafted to the WHL, Plante has signed with the Portland Winterhawks. He is committed to NCAA Division I program University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Moss and Plante both made their WHL debut within the last week.

]]>Brebant joined OHA Edmonton for the 2023/24 U15 Prep season. In 27 games the Fort McMurray, AB forward would record 13 goals and 18 assists to finish third in team scoring. Selected in the fifth round, 109th overall by the Winterhawks at the 2024 WHL Draft, Brebant will spend the 2024/25 CSSHL season with the OHA Edmonton U17 Prep team.
Selected in the eighth round, 175th overall by the Portland Winterhawks at the 2024 WHL Draft, Sayers played the 2023/24 U15 AAA season with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). In 26 games the Edam, SK defender tallied 6 goals and 26 assists before adding 10 points in 5 playoff games as NAX captured the 2024 CSSHL U15 AAA Western Championships.

]]>Selected in the fourth round, 86th overall by the Winterhawks at the 2024 WHL Draft, Leibel joined Delta Hockey Academy for the 2022/23 U15 AAA season tallying 29 points in 27 games. This past U15 Prep season the Surrey, BC forward had 20 goals and 20 assists in 27 games, finishing fourth on Delta Green with 40 points. Leibel will return to Delta for the 2024/25 U17 Prep season.
A defender from Kamloops, BC Zulinick joined RHA Kelowna in 2021/22. That U15 AAA season he would record 8 points in 29 games. Undrafted to the WHL, Zulinick would tally 1 goal and 7 assists in 20 U15 Prep games during the 2022/23 season.

]]>The Winnipeg, MB forward joined RHA Winnipeg for the 2017/18 U15 Prep season tallying 20 points in 30 games. The Portland Winterhawks would then select Litke in the sixth round, 129th overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.
The following U16 Prep season he would finish fourth in team scoring with 43 points in 36 games. Litke would spend the 2019/20 season with the RHA Winnipeg U18 Prep team, recording 31 points in 21 games.
During the 2020/21 COVID-19 season he would tally 8 points in 5 MJHL games with the OCN Blizzard, while adding 1 point in 10 WHL games with the Winterhawks.
He joined Portland full time the following season, finishing with 30 points in 63 games. He would set a career high the following year with 23 assists and 36 points in 50 games. In 2023/24 Litke played 9 WHL games with the Edmonton Oil Kings, scoring 4 times and assisting on 7 more goals.

]]>A forward from Calgary, AB, Shaun Hildebrandt was selected in the second round, 43rd overall by the Calgary Hitmen. Hildebrandt joined Yale Hockey Academy for the 2022/23 season, finishing third on his team and fourth in the U15 division with 50 points in 27 games. This season his 58 points in 27 games were most among U15 Prep forwards, and second in league scoring, earning him CSSHL U15 Prep (BC Division) Second Team All-Star honours.
Jordin St. Louis joined Edge School this season with their U15 Prep team. In 27 games the Airdrie, AB forward tallied 14 goals and 27 assists leading to the Portland Winterhawks selecting him in the first round, 20th overall.
Selected in the third round, 46th overall by the Kamloops Blazers, Madden Tymchak played the 2023/24 season with the RHA Winnipeg U15 Prep team. In 25 games the Oakbank, MB defenseman recorded 1 goal and 29 assists.
A defenseman from Edmonton, AB, Kayne Wright spent the last two seasons with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX). During the 2022/23 season he would tally 23 points in 27 games before adding 8 assists in 5 playoff games to lead NAX to a 2023 CSSHL U15 Western Championship. This season he would record 19 points in 26 U15 Prep games and 8 more in his 5 playoff games as he captured his second straight CSSHL Western Championship with NAX, this time at the U15 Prep level. The Medicine Hat Tigers selected Wright in the eighth round, 171st overall.

]]>Gavin McKenna – Medicine Hat Tigers
McKenna spent three season in the CSSHL, joining RHA Kelowna in 2020/21. He would play the following season as an underage player in the U18 Prep division, tallying 65 points in 35 games. The Tigers would select the Whitehorse, YT forward first overall at the 2022 WHL Draft. The following season McKenna would play for the South Alberta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team, once again leading the division in assists (38) and points (75), while his 37 goals were also a division best, earning him CSSHL U18 Prep MVP honours.
Cayden Lindstrom – Medicine Hat Tigers
A third round pick by the Tigers at the 2021 WHL Draft, Lindstrom spent two seasons with Delta Hockey Academy, winning a 2022 CSSHL U17 Prep Western Championship. In 35 CSSHL games at the U15 Prep and U17 Prep level, Lindstrom tallied 70 points.
Zac Funk – Prince George Cougars
Funk joined Yale Hockey Academy for the 2017/18 U15 Prep season, producing 52 points in 28 games. The Calgary Hitmen would select him in the second round, 43rd overall at the 2018 WHL Draft.
Harrison Meneghin – Lethbridge Hurricanes聽
Meneghin spent four season in the CSSHL with Delta Hockey Academy, posting a 33-14-1 record at the U15, U15 Prep and U18 Prep levels.
Luca Cagnoni – Portland Winterhawks
Undrafted to the WHL, Cagnoni spent three seasons with BWC Academy, playing in the U15 Prep, U16 Prep and U18 Prep divisions. In 75 total CSSHL games the fourth round NHL Draft Pick recorded 59 points.
Terik Parascak – Prince George Cougars
Having spent four seasons with Edge School, Parascak is the CSSHL’s All-Time leading goal scorer with 119 goals, while his 217 points are second most all-time. Parascak was selected by Prince George in the fourth round of the 2021 WHL Draft.

]]>The Burnaby, BC defenseman joined the CSSHL ahead of the 2018/19 U15 Prep season. In 30 games Cagnoni tallied 5 goals and 17 assists with BWC Academy. The following U16 Prep season Cagnoni tallied 29 points in 34 games with BWC Academy.聽Cagnoni would split the 2020/21 season with the BWC Academy U18 Prep team and the Portland Winterhawks.
Undrafted to the WHL, Cagnoni joined Portland full time in 2021/22, finishing with 36 points in 63 games. The following season he would lead Portland defensemen with 64 points in 67 games, leading to the Sharks selecting him in the fourth round, 123rd overall at the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
This season Cagnoni led all WHL defensemen with 72 assists and 90 points in 65 games, earning WHL (US) First All-Star Team honours. He would add 13 points in 13 playoff games as Portland made it to the WHL Finals.

A defenseman from Edmonton, AB, Reed tallied 7 goals and 9 assists assists in 8 games in February. On the season Reed sits fourth among U15 Prep defensemen with 35 points and 12 goals in 27 games.
U17 Prep: Noah Sinagowitz – BWC Academy Gold
A netminder from Vancouver, BC Sinagowitz went 6-0-0 with 3 shutouts, a 1.83GA and .933SV% in February. On the season he has a 13-2-1 record with a 2.50 GAA, .915SV% and 4 shutouts. During the 2022/23 U16 Prep season with BWC Academy Sinagowitz went 9-7-2-1 with a 2.07GAA, .927SV% and 3 shutouts. Sinagowitz joined the CSSHL in 2021/22, going 11-1-1 with a 2.34GAA, .912SV% and 2 shutouts with the BWC Academy U15 Prep team.
U18 Prep: Jordan Duguay – Northern Alberta Xtreme
A second round pick by the Portland Winterhawks at the 2023 WHL Draft, Duguay had 12 goals and 14 assists in 8 games in February. On the season he sits third in team and ninth in league scoring with 57 points in 29 games. Last season Duguay recorded 44 points in 25 regular season games and an additional 9 points in 5 playoff games to help NAX capture the 2023 CSSHL U15 Prep Western Championship. During the 2021/22 season, his first in the CSSHL, the Edmonton, AB forward led all U15 skaters with 52 points in 29 games.
Female Prep: Alida Korte – RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna
The Saskatoon, SK forward tallied 8 goals and 13 assists in 10 games in February. On the season she sits tied for fifth in league scoring with 52 points in 28 games. Her 33 assists, 1.86 points per game and 52 points are tops among all 2008 born Female U18 Prep skaters.
Eastern U17: Adam Straka – Bishop’s College School
The Trencin, Slovakia forward tallied 5 goals and 2 assists in four games during the month of February. On the season Straka has 11 points in 8 games. good enough for second on his team.
Eastern U18: Takanobu Hiraga – Ontario Hockey Academy Prep
Hiraga scored 6 times and added 10 assists in 7 games for OHA Prep in February. The Tokyo, Japan forward sits third on his team and sixth in league scoring with 32 points in 19 games. Hiraga finished last season with 24 points in 11 Eastern U17 games with OHA Maroon.
