Kanderka spent the 2017/18 campaign with Okanagan Hockey Academy鈥檚 (OHA) U18 Prep team, playing 34 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) games and tallying 14 points.

Originally from Red Deer, AB, Kanderka would make the jump to the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) with the Grizzlys the following season. Kanderka would spend three years with Olds, recording 14 goals and 10 assists in 104 AJHL games.

The Seahawks are a NCAA Division III program located in Newport, Rhode Island. They compete in the Commonwealth Coast Conference.

Kim was a two-year Edge School student-athlete winning a U18 Prep CSSHL League Championship in 2016/17. In 66 CSSHL games split between the U16 Prep and U18 Prep divisions the defenseman recorded 64 points.

He would make the jump to junior in 2017/18 with the Okotoks Oilers, playing for them and the Whitecourt Wolverines, before ultimately landing with the Olds Grizzlys in 2019/20. The past two seasons with the Grizzlys Kim had 17 points in 59 games.
