The Soo Thunderbirds have signed Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete James Legler for the 2023/24 Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) season. Legler spent one season in the CSSHL Eastern U18 division with the OHA U18 Prep team. In 17 games the Beaconsfield, QC forward scored 3 goals and assisted on 7 more.
