Former Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Jordan Fairlie has committed to the University of Toronto for the 2023/24 season.

The Fort St. John, BC netminder spent three seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with OHA, joining the program in 2016/17. That season Fairlie would finish with a 5.44 GAA and .876 SV% in 17 U15 Prep games.

In 2017/18 Fairlie would play for the OHA U16 Prep team, playing in 21 games and posting a 3.73 GAA and .896 SV% with 2 shutouts. He would be named to the CSSHL U16 Prep All-Academic Team that season.

His last season in the CSSHL would be in 2018/19 with the OHA U18 Prep White team. In 19 games he recored a 4.43 GAA and .906 SV%.

Located in Toronto, ON, the University of Toronto is a U SPORTS program competing in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) West Conference.

Shawnigan Lake School Female U18 Prep forward Abby Whitworth has committed to the University of Toronto for the 2023/24 season.

The Port Moody, BC forward has spent the last three seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with the Shawnigan Female U18 Prep team. During the 201/22 season Whitworth would finish second in team and fourth in league scoring with 42 points in 24 games.

This season Whitworth would tally a division best 25 goals while finishing second in league and team scoring with 59 points in 29 games. She would lead all skaters in playoff points, recording 12 in 5 games, as Shawnigan Lake made it to the 2023 CSSHL Female U18 Prep Western Championship Finals, ultimately losing in overtime.

The University of Toronto competes in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) East Conference in U SPORTS.

Seven current RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna Female U18 Prep student-athletes have committed to university programs for the 2022/23 season:

  • Brooke Disher – Boston University/NCAA
  • Emma Elders – University of Toronto/U SPORTS
  • Jade Iginla – Brown University/NCAA
  • Mia Kenmore – Stonehill Skyhawks/NCAA
  • Kayla Kutes – Providence College/NCAA
  • Sophie McKinley – Merrimack College/NCAA
  • Sara Swiderski – Clarkson University/NCAA

Disher is now in her sixth season in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) having previously played for Edge School, Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA), and now RHA Kelowna. She has been named the CSSHL U15 WHL Scholastic Player of the Year (2016-2017), CSSHL Female U17 Prep Top Defenseman (2017-2018) and the CSSHL Female U18 Prep Top Defenseman (2019/20). In 117 CSSHL games she has recorded 77 points including 20 in 14 games this season.

A forward from Vernon, BC, Elders is in her second season with RHA Kelowna. In 14 games this season she has 7 goals and 5 assists.

The daughter of NHL Hall of Famer Jarome, Iginla is in her first season in the CSSHL. The Lake Country, BC forward has 4 goals and 7 assists in 10 games this season.

Originally from Richland, Washington, Kenmore is second in team scoring with 9 goals and 8 assists in 14 games. This is the forwards fourth season in the CSSHL, having recorded 17 points in 42 games prior to this year.

Kutes is now in her fourth season in the CSSHL, and second with RHA Kelowna, having previously played for OHA. In 53 CSSHL games prior to this season the Kirkland, Washington forward had 21 points. She has recorded 4 goals and 2 assists in 14 games played this season.

Now in her fourth season in the CSSHL with RHA Kelowna, McKinley has recorded 34 points in 59 games, including 12 in 14 games this season. The forward is originally from Kelowna, BC.

A defenseman out of Langley, BC, Swiderski joined RHA Kelowna last season. In 21 CSSHL games she has recorded 14 points, including 5 goals and 6 assists in 14 games this season.

Three year 麻豆传媒入口 student athlete Jessi Soon will play U Sports hockey at the University of Toronto for the 2020-21 season.聽

The Richmond, BC product competed for Delta Hockey Academy鈥檚 Female U18 Prep team last season where she recorded seven goals and 14 assists (7-14-21) in 24 regular season games.聽

During the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships, Soon added one goal (1-0-1) in three playoff games.聽

In 79 career CSSHL games, the 2003 born forward scored 16 goals and 27 assists (16-27-43) for the Delta Hockey Academy.
