麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athlete Ava Svejkovsky has committed to NCAA Division I program Colgate University for the 2022/23 season.

Svejkovsky is in her fifth season in the CSSHL with Delta Hockey Academy. She joined the program in 2017/18, recording 4 assists in 21 games with their Female U17 Prep team. Now in her fourth season with the Female U18 Prep team, the Point Roberts, WA defenseman has tallied 39 points in 75 CSSHL games with the team, including 7 in 18 games this year.

Svejkovsky was among the 23 players selected for the 2022 U.S. Under-18 Women鈥檚 National Team that was set to compete in the International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women鈥檚 World Championship, Jan. 8-15, in Link枚ping and Mj枚lby, Sweden. The tournament was ultimately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Colgate University is located in Hamilton, New York and competes in the ECAC Hockey conference.

USA Hockey announced that 32 girls from the U18 Girls Select Camp have been invited to the 2021 Women鈥檚 National Festival August 5-14 at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota.

Among the 32 include Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL) student-athlete Ana Svejkovsky, who has spent the past four seasons with Delta Hockey Academy. Originally from Point Roberts, WA, the defenseman played 57 games at the Female U18 Prep level, recording 11 goals and 21 assists.

The Girls Under-18 Select Camp took place July 16-22 and featured players born in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Two-year Shawnigan Lake School student-athlete Mikayla Boarder competed on Team Red at the event.

Players were then selected for the Under-18 National Festival which will help determine the final roster for the U.S. Under-18 Women鈥檚 National Team that will compete in the 2022 IIHF Under-18 Women鈥檚 World Championship.

Former 麻豆传媒入口 student athletes Jake Sanderson and Lukas Svejkovsky will take part in the 2020 World Junior Summer Showcase for the United States, to be held July 24-August 1 in Plymouth, MI.

Sanderson, 17, attended the Edge School during the 2017-18 season, competing on their U16 Prep team where he amassed 43 points (16-27-43) in 32 games, along with three points in three games at the 2018 BDO CSSHL Championships.

The Whitefish, MT product has spent the past two seasons with the United States National Team Development Program (USNTDP).

Svejkovsky, 18, attended the Delta Hockey Academy from 2014 to 2017, competing on their U15 Prep team for two seasons, where he collected 41 points (11-30-41) in 43 games. During the 2016-17 season, he recorded 44 points (17-27-44) in 22 games with their U16 Prep team.

The Point Roberts, WA product has spent the past two seasons in the Western Hockey League, most recently with the Medicine Hat Tigers.
