Ulysse Academie (4/OT) vs CIH Academy (3) East U18

Andrew Mark (1G, 1A) opened the scoring 12:53 in for CIH Academy but Marco Campo tied the game 23 seconds later with his eighth of the season. Giuliano Leuzzi (2G, 1A) gave Ulysse a first period lead, finding the back of the net with 2:08 left in the period. Tucker Clare evened the score midway through the second, but Ulysse once again had a quick response as Ezekiel Lambert (1G, 1A) countered 2:42 later. Trailing by one midway through the final period, Quinton Kakabat picked the perfect time to score his first of the season, tying the game and forcing an eventual overtime. In OT, Leuzzi scored unassisted 2:30 in as Ulysse earned a 4-3 win in a game in which they outshot CIH Academy 64-27. Leonidas Barkoulas (24/27) and Noah Martin (60/64) were in net for their respective teams.Ìý

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (8) vs St. Mary’s Academy (5) Female U18 Prep

A high scoring affair saw Ava Hrubeniuk (3G, 1A) open the scoring four minutes in and Camryn Falloon (1G, 1A) counter for St. Mary’s 1:30 later. RHA Winnipeg came out firing on all cylinders in the second as Paetyn Stansell and Brooklyn Collins scored 34 seconds apart and Hrubeniuk added her second 1:16 later as it became a 4-1 RHA Winnipeg lead 3:59 into the middle frame. Piper Holbrook (1G, 2A) extended the lead midway through the period before Kaitlyn Harvey finally halted the run with 3:08 remaining in the period. Peyton Mages would add another St. Mary’s goal exactly three minutes later to bring her team within two going into the third. Reese Kartusch (2G, 1A) would score back-to-back goals to start the third as St. Mary’s crawled all the way back to tie the game 5-5. However, Shayla Scinocca scored the game winner for RHA Winnipeg with 4:51 remaining and Hrubeniuk completed the hat-trick 15 seconds later. Sydney Stibbard added a late empty net goal to secure the win.Ìý

Delta Hockey Academy Green (5) vs North Shore Warriors (4) Female U18 Prep

Gabriella Lee opened the scoring on the power play for Delta Green 4:43 into the game. London McDavid (2G) doubled the lead 11:11 into the first before Kaida Okamura and Molly Cole traded goals to close out the period. Payton Finnie (1G, 1A) scored 48 seconds into the second and McDavid scored her second of the game less than three minutes later as Delta Green had a 5-1 lead. Despite the large deficit, North Shore refused to go away quietly as Elise Miller (1G, 1A) and Castilla Rubin added second period markers to bring their team within striking distance heading into the final period. Knyla Evans brought North Shore within one 6:10 into the third as they looked to pull off the improbable comeback. However, Jillian Matthews (28/32) ultimately had different plans, preserving the Delta Green lead as they held on for a 5-4 win. Haylie Hedges (39/44) faced 44 shots in the loss.Ìý

Shawnigan Lake School (7) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) U18 Prep

Shawnigan came out firing on all cylinders, scoring five goals in the first 12:52 of the game. Nigel Alberts opened the scoring on the power play before Thierry Demers (3G, 2A) and Vincent Croteau (1G, 1A) scored even strength goals 1:23 apart. Easton Sangris (1G, 3A) added to the lead with a shorthanded marker and Demers scored another power play goal 1:01 after that. Maxwell Hoey halted the run 2:07 later while Trace Anderson and Elliott Hill (1G, 2A) scored second period markers to bring Pacific Coast within two. The Shawnigan power play would strike again as Ryan Turner (1G, 1A) scored 1:30 into the third. Jed Lake (1G, 1A) would counter for PCHA 1:24 later but that was as close as the comeback attempt would get as Demers completed the hat-trick less than two minutes later to secure the 7-4 Shawnigan win. Will Stonehouse (42/46) made 42 saves in net for the win.Ìý

Delta Hockey Academy (2) vs North Shore Warriors (1) U18 Prep

Greyson Moroz (57/58) and Georgi Milanov (23/25) kept clean sheets in the first period as the two teams remained scoreless until Milan Mrsic (1G, 1A) beat Milanov five minutes into the second. Jaiven Mann doubled the lead 8:16 into the third with his 11th of the year. North Shore would finally break through with 2:02 remaining when Matteo Paradiso scored his 18th of the year. Ultimately, the clock ran out on North Shore as the 57 save performance from Moroz gave Delta the 2-1 win.Ìý

Edge School (6) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (5) U15

Eric Sexton opened the score for CIHA late in the first but Zachary Pomeroy was quick to counter for Edge, doing so less than two minutes later. Tomas Figura (2G) scored twice in a span of 1:50 as CIHA grabbed a 3-1 lead midway through the second. Lachlan Kisio 92G) replied for Edge 23 seconds later, but Liam Nycholat (2G) restored the two-goal lead 2:01 after that. Luke Tschetter and Brody Antignani (1G, 1A) scored back-to-back goals to set up an entertaining finish. Nycholat put CIHA back on top 44 seconds later, with 2:40 remaining. Kyden Bartole levelled the score 1:06 later and Kisio scored on the power play with just five seconds left as Edge waited until the final seconds to grab their first and only lead of the game. Caden Stanley (26/31) would finish with 26 saves to secure the Edge win.Ìý

Prairie Hockey Academy (1) vs OHA Edmonton (7) U15

OHA Edmonton opened the scoring 2:16 into the game when the puck found Braydon Lynam all alone in the slot and he made no mistake, going post and in for his fourth of the season. Tristan Reimer tied the game midway through the first, beating Connor Phillips (24/25) with a wrist shot high glove on a 2-on-1. The second belonged to OHA Edmonton as Lane Huscroft (2G) scored twice and Eli Swift (1G, 1A) and Jaxson Weisgerber (2G, 2A) each scored once. Gavin Gong and Weisgerber added third period goals as OHA Edmonton scored six unanswered for the 7-1 win Friday. Conner Aldag (55/62) faced 62 shots in the loss.Ìý

Delta Hockey Academy (5/OT) vs North Shore Warriors (4) U17

Lochlan Shaw opened the scoring for North Shore but Delta led 2-1 after 20 as Sam Harvey and Lincoln Arkinstall (1G, 1A) scored power play goals 44 seconds apart. Christian Sum and Kayden Runstedler (1G, 1A) traded goals less than two minutes apart midway through the second as it remained a one goal game. Emil Najm (2G) doubled the lead 1:23 later but Joshua Moussadji (1G, 1A) responded for North Shore less than two minutes after that. Ryder Fitzpatrick (1G, 1A) scored the lone third period goal to even the score and force overtime. Delta would avoid the collapse as Najm scored 2:57 into the extra frame to give them a 5-4 win.Ìý

St. Mary’s Academy (2) vs Balmoral Hall School (4) Female U18 Prep

Balmoral scored the lone first period goal as Darby Amundson (1G, 1A) found the back of the net on the power play 5:57 in. Makenna Williment (2G) added to the lead 53 seconds into the second, and again less than five minutes later. Kaitlyn Harvey (1G, 1A) would get St. Mary’s on the board late in the second with a power play goal. Hannah Arnold would add a power play goal of her own midway through the third as St. Mary’s climbed within one. But Madeline McKay (1G, 2A) added her first goal and third point of the night 1:39 later to secure the Balmoral victory. Mimi Ferreira (27/29) made 27 saves in net for the win.ÌýÌý

Delta Hockey Academy (5) vs STAR Hockey Academy (3) U15 Prep

Levi Ellingsen (3A) nabbed assists on STAR’s initial two goals by Ronin Brunner and Daniel Makovetskiy (2G). However, Delta would fire back in the second as their offence began to heat up. Tripp Fischer sparked a chain of five unanswered goals through the next period and a half of play. Ethan Kitchen (1G, 2A) would score one and supply helpers on two other Delta markers. Makovetskiy would get one back for STAR in the late stages of the match but it was too little too late for the Washington-based squad. Jack Utsunomiya (34/36) played an impressive game between the pipes for Delta, racking up 34-saves through sixty minutes of play.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (2) vs North Shore Warriors (1) U17 Prep

Brayden Howe (1G, 1A) would provide the opening goal for PCHA but would quickly be matched by North Shore’s Cruze Kopeck. A scoreless second would follow as defending and goaltending proved to be vital in this affair. In the late stages of the third, Treytin Frizzell would slide one past Ethan Suhr (37/39) with only seven seconds remaining on the clock. PCHA would go on to seal up this contest with goaltender Ander Reyes (28/29) posting 28-saves.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (4) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep

A strong opening twenty saw PHA outshoot RHA Winnipeg 24-13 and introduce a 2-1 lead. RHA Winnipeg would gain some footing early in the second after Isaac Sousa (1G, 1A) wired his 23rd of the campaign past Drake Mooney (36/40). Brady Keith (2G) would later deflect home the go ahead goal halfway through the second. Brady Robert (50/53) also showed up large in the middle frame, stopping all 13-shots. In the third, Keith would bang in a feed from Swift Current Broncos prospect Knox Burton (1G, 1A) to further advance their lead. Ethan Unger would get one back for PHA late in the third, but that’s the last they would get through Robert. Robert went on to rack up an astounding 50-saves in the RHA Winnipeg victory.Ìý

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (1) vs Edge School (7) U15 Prep

Things remained tight through twenty between Pilot Mound and Edge School on Friday’s Feature Matchup. Keagan Grant (2G, 2A) and Cole Landreville would trade goals back and forth halfway through the first, but a quick response from George Matheos restored Edge’s lead instantaneously. Just six seconds into the second, Grant would wire home his second, extending Edge’s lead. Nicholas Edgar (2G) would snag the fourth goal off a sweet dish from Luke Huska (1G, 3A). Edge would add another three goals in the third to cap off a comfortable victory to start their weekend. Kaidyn Thomas (23/24) went on to steer aside 23-shots in the win while Yuki Kido (46/53) posted a formidable 46-stops in the loss.

Ontario Hockey Academy (8) vs CIH Academy (3) East U18

OHA’s offence carried out six unanswered goals in the opening half of this contest against CIH Academy. Sebastian Erkenbolling (3G, 1A) delivered a majority of the scoring, netting a hat-trick and four points. Jeremy St. Louis (2G, 1A) would add a shorthanded marker in the third to iron out a three point performance. Taiga Soneji (2G) would get two goals in the third back for CIH to soften the blow.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (4) vs Yale Hockey Academy (0) U17 Prep

An all-around performance led to a routine victory for OHA as they visited Yale Hockey Academy in Abbotsford, BC on Friday. Jacob Leamy got things started with a slot shot in the first to establish an early lead while the big guns came in a built off that advantage. Luke Assi (2G, 1A) would nab two while Trey Tourigny (1G, 2A) potted one and added helpers on Assi’s tallies. Linden Sobocan (22/22) was in net for the win, picking up his fourth shutout within his last five starts, giving the Kelowna Rockets prospect six shutouts on the season, a U17 Prep single season record.

Edge School (3/OT) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep

Adam M’hamed didn’t hold back, scoring just over a minute in to secure Edge the early lead over their inner-city rivals. The score wouldn’t adjust for another forty minutes as the second contained no scoring. Lincoln Martin would garner one back for CIHA early in the third. Halfway through the period, Ethan Elefante would restore Edge’s lead. However, just under a minute later, a blast from the point with thanks to Jack Wideman once again tied this contest up. In the eventual overtime, Edge would receive a powerplay in the final two minutes. On the man advantage, Everett Silvertips prospect Mirco Dufour would net his third GWG of the season to keep the bragging rights in Edge School’s favour. Brock England (3A) provided assists to each Edge goal while Leif Oaten (31/33) racked up 31-saves in the win.

Yale Hockey Academy (7) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) U15 Prep

6’6 defender, Christopher Kokkoris, scored his first of the campaign to give Yale the initial lead in Penticton on Friday. Luca Vaugeois (1G, 1A) would restore the tie a couple minutes later. However, Yale would find their stride shortly after, netting five unanswered throughout the next period and a half of play. Alexander Sharman (3G, 1A) would score a hat-trick in the latter half of the game, but Yale’s lead was far too much to overcome in the late stages. Matteo Zenone (2G, 1A) and Tony Cabelka (2G, 1A) each led Yale on the scoresheet with a pair of goals each.Ìý

Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep

Ethan Makokis (1G, 1A) got OHA on the board first part way through the first. Shortly after, Jayden Oleskiw wired home Yale’s first to tie things up. OHA and Yale would trade goals once more before the ice clean. A quiet second would only feature one goal as Eli Barrett gave Yale the lead early in the frame. Yale would continue to build on their lead in the third as Gus Schill and Evan Cook (1G, 1A) added insurance markers. Bradley Schmidt would get one back for OHA late, but the game was already in Yale’s grasp at that point. Nathan Kam (30/33) secured the W, making 30-saves in the process.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (1) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (7) Female U18 Prep

Payton Chornley (2G) continues to make noise in the Female U18 prep division, potting another two goals to her dominant January. Rowyn Street (2G, 1A) also scored two shorthanded markers in the third, giving her 23 on the season, surpassing her total from the 2023/24 season. McKayla Romano would score a highlight reel goal for Pilot Mound’s lone goal, making up for her missed penalty shot in the first period.

BWC Academy (5) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) U15

A Tommy Nemeth wrister trickled through to give PCHA the sole lead through twenty minutes of play. BWC Academy’s Ryker Carson (1G, 1A) and Owen Chapman would quickly garner the lead with two goals separated by less than a minute. PCHA would claw back with two thanks to efforts from Kaz Westcott and Caden Sugiyama (1G, 1A).Down by one entering the third, BWC Academy would break the ice at the halfway point and not look back. Carter Yule would go on to spark a chain of three unanswered, picking up the GWG. Tyson Oake (29/32) would stop all 14-shots he saw in the third, backing BWC Academy to a comeback victory.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (7) vs Notre Dame (3) U15 Prep

Jett Evans opened the scoring for his first goal in U15 Prep competition. Six separate goal scorers would net the rest for NAX with Riley Brown (1G, 2A) leading the way with three points over his former team. Ben Meyer (48/55) made a formidable 48-saves in the loss while Dawson Sheehan (18/21) picked up the win on the other end of the ice.

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (5) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (2) U17

RHA Winnipeg came out the gates swinging with five unanswered goals though the first half of this contest. Alijah Lodhar would get Prairie on the board late in the second while Cohen Greenwood added his 10th of the season in the third. Justin Campbell’s first period marker would stand as the GWG while Grayson McDonald (10/12) held down the crease, picking up an assist in the win as well.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (3) vs OHA Edmonton (7) U17 Prep

OHA Edmonton and Pilot Mound would split the scoring in the first with goals from Miles Coates (2G) and Christian Caby. OHA Edmonton would find their offensive footing in the second, potting four goals to eventually establish a 5-2 lead. In the third, Saskatoon Blades prospect Jaggar John (3G) would add another two, completing his hat-trick with a shorthanded tally in the process. Dysen Loewen (31/34) made 31-saves backing OHA Edmonton to the comfortable win.

Edge School (1) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (9) U17 Prep

SAHA’s offence broke through in a marquee matchup with Edge School, scoring nine goals on Friday. Matthew Cameron-Skidmore (2G) and Kutcher Aquila (2G) would each acquire a pair of goals while Karter Kurpjuweit (4A) amassed four helpers. Hunter Zawislak (30/31) posted 30 saves in the win, coming one save shy of the shutout due to a goal from Izayah Zaharko.

Yale Hockey Academy (5) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (1) U15

Yale was striking late in the frames as all three goals in the first two periods came in the final three minutes of play. Owen Magness would find one short side in the early stages of the third for OHA, but a quick response from Yale’s Ryker Stevens (1G, 1A) restored the momentum. Max Ritchey (1G, 1A) would supply the back breaker late in the third as Yale went on to win 5-1. Lucca Tassone (17/18) picked up his 11th win of the campaign, making 17-saves in the W.Ìý

BWC Academy (0) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) U17

Jack Drinkwater opened the scoring for PCHA with an early goal in the first. Tyson Jeske (1G, 1A) would add to this lead with an early goal in the second. PCHA would add another two in the third, wrapping up a routine win over BWC Academy. Eliott Horner (32/32) came through big in goal, making 32-stops for his second shutout of the season.

Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (1) vs Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (3) U18 Prep

Sokratis Markarian (2G) supplied the early lead for Coeur d’Alene, scoring under three minutes into play. Wenatchee’s Cal Kellenberg would tie things up later in the frame. Tied going into the second, CDA would keep up the pressure as Markarian would add his second of the evening to give CDA back the lead. Later in the frame, Aleksandr Skuratov would add the insurance marker as CDA’s Bennett Byers (24/25) would remain perfect for the rest of the contest, racking up 24-saves for his 11th win of the season.

Shawnigan Lake School (1) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (3) Female U18 Prep

After a scoreless first, Hayley McDonald would open the scoring for RHA Kelowna, capitalising on a penalty shot. Emelia McDermid (2G) would add to RHA Kelowna’s lead in the third. However, Shawnigan’s Leah Hill would respond under a minute later to cut their deficit back in half. Shawnigan would make a last push but failed to score with the goalie pulled as McDermid added the insurance marker. Jaya Schippel (21/22) picked up the win in goal, steering aside 21-shots.
