Mount Academy was able to establish a lead exiting the first with goals from twin brothers Brandon (1G, 1A) and Jesse Gauthier. Krystopher Roy would even things up in the second for Bourget College before running into penalty trouble. Mount Academy took advantage and potted a goal thanks to the stick of Mederic Allard. Justin Barrette would tie things up for Bourget College to force overtime and a shootout. Antoine Demers would be the hero for Bourget to polish off their comeback.听听
Okanagan Hockey Academy (0) vs Shawnigan Lake School (8) Female U18 Prep
Shawnigan completes the weekend sweep over OHA with a dominant performance on Sunday. Morgan Jackson (3G, 1A) caps off the weekend with a hat-trick after yesterday鈥檚 five-point performance while Taya Lonsdale (2G, 1A) and Mya Lawrence (1G, 2A) add to their productive weekends as well. Aidyn Carkner (16/16) was in net to pick up the shutout.
OHA Edmonton (3) vs Edge School (7) U15 Prep
Mirco Dufour (2G, 1A) and Charlie Leonard (2G) were the difference makers in another offensively charged victory for Edge School on Sunday. Edge blew onto the scene with four goals in the first 14:00 of play before Domonic Neville (2G) had a response for OHA Edmonton. Neville would score early in the second but Edge鈥檚 powerplay would come out to play with another two tallies coming from Nathan Cole and Dufour. Edge took home the win going 3/6 on the powerplay and peppering 55-shots on goal.
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (8) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (0) U15 Prep
48-seconds is all it took for RHA Winnipeg to find the scoresheet with a valued effort from Nolan Harding. There was no looking back after this for RHA Winnipeg. Jake Ritson (3G) would record a hat-trick with each of his goals featuring an assist from Anthony Bedard (3A). Hudson Hunnie (16/16) recorded the shutout in the routine victory over PHA.听
Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna Black (5) vs Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (1) U17 Prep
RHA Kelowna was able to cruise to victory this Sunday morning with an abundance of powerplays to ease the pressure. RHA Kelowna would have five-unique goals scorers while Kiran Fedun (2A) and Aidan Fisher (2A) provided two assists a piece. Sartaj Dhami (19/20) picked up his fourth win of the season and now sits in a tie for second for most wins in the U17 Prep division.
Prairie Hockey Academy (4) vs OHA Edmonton (1) U18 Prep
An early powerplay marker from PHA鈥檚 Daniel Helary (2G, 1A) would help establish early momentum for Prairie Hockey Academy. Cohan Kuncio would double their lead before the end of the first. Hunter Yanick would get one back for OHA Edmonton halfway through the second, but PHA鈥檚 Landon Garbitt (34/35) would hold down the fort for the rest of the match, stopping all of OHA Edmonton鈥檚 14-shots in the third. Helary would put the game out of reach with his second goal late in the third.听
Delta Hockey Academy Black (1) vs North Shore Warriors (7) U15 Prep
Chase Vossenaar (3G, 1A) led NSW to a commanding win over Delta Black, netting four-points and a hat-trick. Vossenaar was accompanied by Nash Dickson (1G, 2A) and Zach Koch (3A) in terms of divvying up the offence while Elias Mitrikas (38/39) held Delta Black at bay.听听
Delta Hockey Academy Black (2) vs BWC Academy White (8) U17 Prep
This Sunday matchup was highlighted with two hat-tricks, one from Mark Lee (3G, 2A) and the other from Ryan Fox (3G). Fox鈥檚 first two goals were enough to keep BWC Academy White afloat at the end of a 2-2 first period, but Lee鈥檚 would push his club鈥檚 score into the stratosphere. BWC Academy White would score six unanswered once the second period began to comfortably defeat Delta Black.
Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (2) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (6) U17 Prep
Simon Cecconi (2G, 1A) scored twice in a span of 2:13 and Connor Vogt (1G, 2A) added his second of the season as OHA was up 3-0 after 20. Each team would score twice in the second before Caleb Bedard scored short handed in the third to put the game well out of reach. Conner Nicolson (20/22) made 20 saves in the win.听
STAR Hockey Academy (10) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) U15
Jakub Vlasak (1G, 4A) led all skaters with five points, Fox Brunner (3G) tallied a hat-trick and Brody Lukinbill (2G, 1A) and Sean McIntyre (2G, 2A) each scored twice in a 10-3 STAR Hockey Academy defeated PCHA 10-3. Brysten Campbell, Emilio de la O Ruiz, and Trent Porter scored for PCHA in the loss.听
Yale Hockey Academy (5) vs Shawnigan Lake School (2) U18 Prep
Grant Reid (1G, 1A) and Lucas Biros scored first period goals and Tommy Lafreniere (2G, 1A) added a power play marker early in the second as Yale jumped out to a 3-0 lead. Ryan Turner would get Shawnigan on the board late in the second with a power play goal of his own. In the third Evan Cook and Matthew Jackson would trade goals before Lafreniere sealed the deal with an empty net goal.听
Shawnigan Lake School (0) vs Delta Hockey Academy Green (8) U15 Prep
Delta Green outshot Shawnigan 57-6 en route to an 8-0 win. Eight different skaters scored for Delta Green with Jack Morgan (1G, 2A), Treyce Pavlic (1G, 2A) and Kishan Saggu (1G, 2) leading the way with three points each. Liam Chamberlain (47/59) and Blake Clarke (6/6) were in net for their respective teams.听
Rink Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) vs Notre Dame (4) U17 Prep
Max Dowse scored the lone first period goal and a scoreless second saw RHA Winnipeg hold a 1-0 lead heading into the third. Liam McCloy (2G, 1A) would tie the game early in the third before Aiden Jacobson restored the RHA Winnipeg lead just 56 seconds later. But Ilyas Yarkov (1G, 1A), Ryan Kowalsky (1G, 2A), and McCloy would respond for Notre Dame as they scored four third period markers to complete the comeback win. Sam Koester (38/40) was in net for the win.听
OHA Edmonton (0) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme Blue (4) U17 Prep
Kai Zurowski (19/19) made 19 saves to earn his first career CSSHL shutout as NAX Blue defeated OHA Edmonton 4-0. Ethan Buhler, Mario DeMaria, Jake MacDonald and Harry Mattern (1G, 1A) all scored for NAX Blue in the win. Ethan Taylor (45/49) was in net for the loss.听
St. Mary’s Academy (3) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy Female (0) U18 Prep
Camryn Falloon (1G, 1A), Mia Faseruk (1G, 1A), and Payton Henwood all scored and Mimi Ferreira (22/22) made 22 saves as St. Mary鈥檚 defeated PMHA 3-0. Brooklynn Adams (46/49) made 46 saves in the loss.听
Champions Hockey Academy (6) vs King鈥檚 Edgehill School (4) Eastern U17
Max Patenaude (2G, 1A) scored 44 seconds in and Brodie Wood tied the game with a short handed marker eight minutes later. Carter Morrison (2G) would give KES an early second period lead but goals from Bryson Robinson, Will Carroll (1G, 1A) and Charlie Morrison would see Champions lead 4-2 after 40. Patenaude and Jackson Marnell would score third period goals to extend the Champions lead. But KES wouldn鈥檛 go away quietly, scoring twice in the final minute. Ultimately, Champions would hold on for the 6-4 lead.听听
Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (0) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep
Ryan Tamelin (23/23) made 23 saves for the shutout and Charlie Grant (1G, 4A) played a role in all five OHA goals as they defeated Wenatchee 5-0. Hudson Closson (2G, 1A), David Hoy (1G, 1A) and Tucker Robertson (1G, 1A) scored the other OHA goals in the win.听
North Shore Warriors (0) vs Yale Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep
Despite a 56 save performance from Beckham Brossard (56/59) Yale defeated NSW 3-0. Seth Castronuovo scored in the first while Kyounghun Oh, and Gus Schill (1G, 1A) scored in the third period. Carson Lang (11/11) made 11 saves in the win.听
OHA Edmonton Black (0) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme White (6) U17 Prep
Taylor Raynard (20/20) made 20 saves for his second shutout of the season as NAX White defeated OHA Edmonton Black. Tafari Chingwaru (2G) scored twice while Ben Deacon (2A), Will Hogan (2A) and Brady Whitehead (2A) all had two assists in the win.听
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (5/OT) vs Notre Dame (4) U15 Prep
Parker Banks scored 1:48 in as Notre Dame led 1-0 after 20. Cohen Recksiedler (2G) and Cole Landreville (1G, 2A) scored 16 seconds apart to give PMHA the lead but Logan Arnold tied the game 25 seconds later. Shyloh Benko and Thomas MacPhee (1G, 2A) gave Notre Dame a 4-2 third period lead but Recksielder and Forrest Karlson (1G, 2A) would score late goals to tie the game. In OT Kenneth Petaulassie would win a puck race and score on the eventual breakaway to give PMHA a 5-4 win.听
Rink Hockey Academy Kelowna Red (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (3) U17 Prep
Brody McLean and Marcus Domhof (1G, 1A) gave OHA Black an early 2-0 lead before Maddox Bentley (1G, 1A) got RHA Kelowna Red on the board. Blake Riley would extend the lead just 58 seconds into the second and Blayze Wheeler brought RHA Kelowna Red back within one midway through the frame. In the third Preston Kelly-Paquet (2G) would take over, scoring twice to give his team a 4-3 comeback win.
