ÌýRINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (2) vs BWC Academy (3) U15

Griffin Sanderson made 39 saves through the first two periods before London Taylor scored 46 seconds into the third, to finally break through, as BWC would overcome a 2-0 deficit with three third period goals. Carter Ponte and Cruz Waltze (1G,1A) scored first period goals for RINK Kelowna, who were outshot 60-26 in the loss. Taylor got the ball rolling for BWC in the third, with Hunter Ashton scoring two minutes later to tie the game. Ty Bonkowski (1G,1A) scored the eventual game winner with less than five minutes remaining.ÌýÌý

Okanagan Hockey Academy (6) vs West Van Academy U15 (1)

It was a quick start for WVA, who opened the scoring at 4:03 of the first period, with a goal off the stick of Ryan Nicholson Jr. The lead was short-lived, with Zennon Turnovitski (1G, 1A) tying it up for OHA at 13:05 of the period with his first goal of the season. Rhett Tubello (3A), Dylan Cawley (1G, 2A), Nate Macphee (1G, 2A), Kyson Lindsay (2G, 1A) each had three-point games for OHA in the win.

Edge School (10) vs OHA Edmonton U15 (5)

Lincoln Martin was all around the net in this one, scoring five goals and adding three assists as Edge doubled up OHA Edmonton 10-5 to earn their second win of the year. The power-play struck eight times in the game for Edge, while Brendan Rudolph (2G, 2A) and Miles Copeland (2G, 1A) each scored twice.

West Van Academy (0) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black U15 Prep (9)

After a scoreless first period, Delta poured on the offense in the final 40 minutes, scoring nine unanswered goals. Grayson Salmon registered a hat-trick, while Cole Brown (1G, 2A) scored the game-winner early in the second period for his first goal of the season. Shay McVicker stopped all 12 shots he faced for his first shutout, and first win.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (1)Ìý vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna U15 Prep (4)

Max Finley opened the scoring for RINK Kelowna and added two more goals late in the game to pick up the hat-trick. Joe Iginla scored his first goal of the season at 2:26 of the first period, which proved to be the eventual game-winner. On the other side, Charlie Grant scored the lone goal for OHA, and has now netted a goal in three-straight games.

Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs Notre Dame Hounds U15 Prep (3)

It was a close contest into the third period when, at the 4:05 mark, Liam Tatuinee netted his first goal of the season, which proved to be the game-winner for the Buffaloes. Following a seven-point performance the previous game, Notre Dame forward, Koby Bossaer, scored his third goal of the season to bring the Hounds within a goal. However, Buffaloes Netminder Keane Reid shut the door to give Pilot Mound their first win of the year.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (7) vs OHA Edmonton (3) U16 Prep

Having already scored 19 goals on the weekend, NAX added to that total, putting seven past Cael Charlton in a 7-3 win. Spencer Michnik left the game after the first due to injury and Haden Heide was forced to come on in relief, making 13 saves on 15 shots. After recording a hat trick yesterday, Hyde Davidson scored again today for NAX. Owen Berge (2A), Ayden Probe (2G), Cole Reschny (2A), and Dylan Ronald (1G,1A) all had multi point games for NAX, while Ty Gordon scored twice for OHA Edmonton.Ìý

Delta Hockey Academy (3) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (7) U16 Prep

Delta jumped out to a 2-0 lead nine minutes in but Pacific Coast would score six straight goals to take a 7-3 win. Brendon Hall (1G,2A) and Landon Mackie (2G,2A) continued their hot starts to the season as they each recorded their team leading 13th point of the season. Austin Garrett (1G,2A), Noah Gebicki (1G,1A), Nicholas Scott (1G,1A) and Grady Sluggett (2A) all had multi point games for Pacific Coast. Braxton Becker made 22 saves in the win, and defenseman Morgan Clark had two assists for Delta in the loss.Ìý

West Van Academy (5)Ìý vs BWC Academy (2) U16 Prep

BWC outshot West Van 45-22 but Dwayne-Paul Crzu stood tall for West Van making 43 saves in the win. Grayden Ewing (2G,1A) and Ryan McAuley (3A) provided most of the offence for West Van, who went 1 for 5 on the powerplay. Rolan Amin and Ryan Zhang scored for BWC in the loss.Ìý

Edge School (8) vs Notre Dame Hounds (0)Ìý U16 Prep

Edge stayed undefeated on the season and Benjamin Polhill made 13 saves for the shutout in an 8-0 win. Miles Cooper (2G,2A), and Terik Parascak (2G,2A) led the way for Edge, who scored four first period and three second period goals. Josh Evaschesen (1G,2A) Leonard Fraser (2A), and Nolan DuPont (1G,1A) also had multi point games for Edge.Ìý

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (5) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) U16 Prep

Callas Pierce (1G,1A) scored the game winner with less than 10 minutes left and Owen Wilkinson (1G) scored an insurance marker, his fifth of the season, with 2:17 remaining in the third. Gavin Pomeroy made 35 stops in the win as RINK Kelowna outshot OHA 39-38. Stein Dostal scored two goals for OHA in the loss.Ìý

Delta Hockey Academy (10) vs Shawnigan Lake School U17 Prep (1)

Delta remains unbeaten after picking up their fourth win of the season. They opened the scoring early in the game, just 1:12 into the first period, and never looked back. Jordan Gavin registered his second hat-trick of the year, and his second consecutive six-point game. Goaltender Noah Stenvig earned his third win of the season and has allowed just one goal-against in each of his last two starts.

Okanagan Hockey Academy White (3) vs Yale Hockey Academy U17 Prep (7)

Despite a 56-save effort by OHA goaltender, Nathan Preston, it was Yale who prevailed by a 7-3 score. Yale forward Jesse Heslop registered a hat-trick to extend his scoring streak to five games, while Brody Quiring (1G, 1A) had a multi-point game for the Lions, including scoring the game winner at 13:35 of the second period.

Shawnigan Lake School (4) vs Delta Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep

Down 4-2 heading into the third, Delta scored three straight goals, including the game winner from Niko Tsakumis (2G,1A) on the power play with 1:27 left in the game. Special teams was the difference maker in the game as Delta went 2/4 on the power play and killed off all three Shawnigan power play attempts. Along with Tsakumi, Bailey Ewonus (1G,2A) and Jerome Maharaj (2A) provided a good portion of the offence and Colin Reay made 29 saves for the win.Ìý

BWC Academy (0) vs St. George’s U18 (2) Prep

Jaiden Sharma recorded an assist and made 29 saves for his first shutout of the season as St. George’s defeated BWC 2-0. Zach Zapanta’s second period goal ended up being the difference in this one as Declan Warburton scored an insurance marker late in the third. Charlie Tritt made 31 saves in the loss.Ìý

RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (6) vs Notre Dame Hounds U18 Prep (1)

RINK Winnipeg got significant contributions from the blueline in this one, as both Josh Mettimano (2G, 1A) and Marek Arpin (2G, 1A) had three-point nights, with Chase Simon’s goal at 15:28 of the second period proving to be the game-winner. Gavin Hodnett added three helpers and Jackson McLeod turned away 25 of 26 shots to give RINK Winnipeg their second win of the season.

Northern Alberta Xtreme (4) vs Edge School Female U18 Prep (2)

NAX was up 1-0 in the first period following an early goal by NAX forward Molly Hamilton. Kyla Mitenko scored for Edge with four minutes left in the period to tie the game 1-1 before Allee Isley added another tally with two-minutes to go in the period to give NAX the lead after twenty minutes. Edge blueliner Jaimee Spring tied things up 2-2 in the second period with her first goal of the season (3:21), but that was it offensively for Edge. Taylor Willoughby scored in the opening minute of the third period (19:23) and Kendra Shumaker added the insurance goal late (6:53) to seal it.Ìý

Ontario Hockey Academy U18 (9) vs Mount U18 Prep #1 (5)Ìý East

Colton McIntosh scored two goals three minutes apart as OHA jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in a 9-5 win over Mount #2. A busy second period would see seven goals scored as Mount #1 closed the gap to 6-5 for OHA heading into the third, but a goal a minute into the final frame, and two with just under two minutes left, ensured an OHA victory. Tristan Gaudet, McIntosh, and Braeden O’Keefe all scored twice for OHA, while Liam Travis tallied twice for Mount #2.Ìý

CIH U18 Prep (3) vs Mount U18 Prep #2 (5) East

Nikita Tysmbalistyi would score 1:45 into the opening frame for CIH but Nathan Arsenault would settle in making 33 saves on 36 shots as Mount #2 defeated CIH 5-3. Timon Moschen (1G,2A) would score the eventual game winner early in the third before Maththias Mader would tally late for CIH to bring the game back within one. Justin Roux would score an empty netter a minute later, sealing the Mount #2 victory with 19 seconds left. Angelo Donzella picked up three assists in the loss for CIH.Ìý

Bourget U17 Prep (4) vs Mount U16 Prep (6) East

Despite outshooting Mount U16 38-34, Bourget dropped a 6-4 decision. Bourget scored the first goal of the game when Adam Belzil scored his third of the season five minutes into the first. But Mount would go on to score the next five goals, capped off by the eventual game winner by Dawson Grandy (2G), who scored his fifth of the season. Thatcher Hughes scored twice, Neka Jean had two assists and Rylan Aiken picked up the win in net for Mount. Matt Burns had two assists for Bourget in the loss.Ìý

Bourget U18 Prep (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Ontario U18 East (1)

Emile Tremblay assisted on every goal for Bourget, all of which were scored in the second period. Zachary Cyrenne scored twice, while Jordan Waite (1G, 2A) registered his third three-point game of the season and has now scored in four straight games. Scott Rodrigue had a 42-save night for OHA, while William Fortin turned aside 16 shots for the Bourget win.
