Upper joined Edge for the 2014/15 U15 season, tallying 10 points in 13 games. The following U15 Prep campaign he would record 16 points in 25 games. The Calgary, AB defender would take a step offensively the next season, finishing with 34 points in 27 U16 Prep games. During the 2017/18 season he would tally 29 points in 33 U18 Prep games with Edge.

Undrafted to the WHL, Upper would join the Prince George Cougars in 2018/19. He would spend three seasons in the WHL with the Cougars, ending his WHL career with 18 goals and 33 assists in 151 games.

After his WHL career he would head to the University of Calgary and play three U SPORTS seasons with the Dinos. In 62 games Upper had 13 goals and 20 assists.

Gosling was the interim head coach during the 2023/24 season after another former Edge coach, Carla MacLeod, stepped down from her head coaching role with the Dino’s to take on the role of head coach in the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) with Team Ottawa.

This season Gosling led the Dino’s to a 10-10-2 record as interim head coach, winning nine of their final 14 regular season games to secure the fifth seed in the Canada West Playoffs. Calgary would then defeat the Saskatchewan Huskies on the road in the conference quarter-final, overcoming a Game 1 loss, to clinch their first post-season series victory since 2015.

Having spent five seasons with Edge coaching in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) U17 Prep division, Gosling is the seventh head coach in Dino’s history.聽 In his time at Edge Gosling posted a record of 60W-42L-7OTL-1T.

MacLeod was the head coach of the Edge School Female U18 Prep for four seasons, starting in the 2017/18 season. During her time in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with Edge she compiled a 47-23-6 regular season record while leading Edge to their first ever CSSHL Female Prep Western Championship during the 2019/20 season.

The Spruce Grove, AB product would become the head coach of the University of Calgary Dinos female team for the 2021/22 U SPORTS season. Since then, she has led the Czechia women’s National Team for the past two seasons.

Founded in August 2023, the Professional Women’s Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league in North America comprising three teams in Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto) and three teams in the United States (Boston, Minnesota, New York). The 2024 season will see the teams play 24 games from January until the end of May.

The Seattle, Washington product spent the 2016/17 CSSHL season with the OHA U15 Prep team. In 22 games he would score 8 goals and add 8 assists.

In 2019/20 Lee would suit up for the Everett Silvertips in the Western Hockey League (WHL). His rookie season would see him finish with 9 goals and 4 assists. The following year he would produce 6 points in 17 games with Everett.

In 2021/22 Lee would join the Saskatoon Blades, recording 11 points in 30 games. He would finish the season with the Medicine Hat Tigers, tallying 10 points in 22 games.

Lee spent the entire 2022/23 season with the Tigers, finishing second in team scoring with 59 points in 57 games. His 32 goals were a team high.

Mitenko joined the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with the Edge School Female U18 Prep team during the 2020/21 season. That year she would tally one point in two games.

In 2021/22 Mitenko would produce 9 goals and 12 assists in 27 games. She would add one goal in three playoff games at the 2022 CSSHL Western Championships.

This season Mitenko would finish ninth in league scoring with 34 points. Her 34 points and 21 assists were tops among all Edge skaters. She would finish with three points in four playoff games as Edge made it to the semi-finals of the 2023 CSSHL Western Championships.

MacLeod spent seven seasons coaching at Edge School, including the last four as Female U18 Prep Head coach, leading the team to a 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) Championship in 2019/20.

Prior to her coaching career at the Edge School, MacLeod helped Team Japan qualify for the 2014 Winter Olympics, the first time since they hosted in 1998.

Before starting her coaching career, MacLeod played her minor hockey in Calgary, AB. She would make the jump to the NCAA playing for the Wisconsin Badgers, captaining the team for two seasons.

Internationally, MacLeod represented Canada numerous times including winning gold once and silver three times at the IIHF World Women’s Championships, and capturing two Olympic Gold Medals.

The Dinos compete in the U SPORTS Canada West Conference.
