The Prince George Cougars have signed OHA Edmonton student-athlete听Patrick Sopiarz to a Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement.

The Cougars originally selected Sopiarz in the third round, 63rd overall at the 2023 WHL Draft. The Edmonton, AB forward spent the 2022/23 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) season with the OHA Edmonton U15 Prep team. Sopiarz would finish third on his team in goals (22), and second in assists (24) and points (46).
