CSSHL Western Championships

The 2025 CSSHL Western Championships will see 104 teams from BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Idaho and Washington play 192 games from March 2-16, 2025 in Penticton, B.C.

Champions will crowned in the U15, U15 Prep, U17, U17 Prep, U18 Prep and Female U18 Prep divisions. Each division will be split into Division I & Division 2 pre-Championships based on the official CSSHL MYHockey Rankings, with each division crowning a champion.

This will be the ninth time the City of Penticton has hosted the CSSHL Western Championships event. This event provides CSSHL member programs and its staff and student-athletes, aged 13-18, with valuable opportunities and experience.

It was announced back in March of 2023 that the CSSHL and its partners Okanagan Hockey Group, OVG360, Travel Penticton and the City of Penticton reached an agreement for a 10-year agreement (five years, with an additional five-year renewal clause) to host the Western Championships beginning in March 2024.

The 2024 CSSHL Western Championships, which took place in Penticton from March 4-17, 2024 and featured 96 teams and roughly 2,100 players and staff from the four Western Canadian provinces and the states of Idaho and Washington, had an economic impact of $5.231 million, almost $2 million more than the 2023 record of $3.337 million.

Tickets are available online at 听and in person at the Valley First Box Office at the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC), open Monday through Friday, 10:00AM to 4:00PM.

Tickets are $27.50 for a day pass and $75 for a full tournament pass. Admission for spectators 18 years of age and younger is free.
