CIH U17 (3) at Mount Academy U18 #2 (8) Eastern

Mount Academy #2 fired 40 shots on the CIH net, scoring eight times for their seventh win of the season. Owen Underhill (3G,2A) registered a hat-trick and added two assists, Alex Kelloway (1G,4A) had a five-point game, while Justin Roux (3A) and Frederic Pinel (3A) had three assists each. Nathan Arsenault (4-1-0) turned aside shots to pick up his fourth win of the season.听

Northern Alberta Xtreme (5 SO) at South Alberta Hockey Academy (4) U18 Prep

South Alberta Hockey Academy had a 4-1 lead midway through the third period but Nolan Kaziel (2G,1A) scored on the powerplay at 8:26 of the period to get the comeback started for Northern Alberta Xtreme. Brandan Tronchin scored at 16:17 for NAX, then Reid Varkonyi found the back of the net 0:22 seconds later to tie the game 4-4. A shootout was needed to determine a winner, where Varkonyi scored the only goal to give NAX the win.

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Kelowna (6) U16 Prep

Jace Harder (3G) had a hat-trick performance and Maddox Watson (3A) had three assists as RINK Kelowna improved to 14-2-1 on the season with a win over Pacific Coast Hockey Academy. Nick Scott (1G,2A) had a three-point effort and Grady Sluggett (1G,1A) had two points for PCHA in the loss.听

Scotiabank Showcase OHA Edmonton (1) at Yale Hockey Academy (10) U15

Yale Hockey Academy improved to (10-4-0) on the season with a 10-goal performance against OHA Edmonton. Ryker Swanson (3G,2A) led the way with a hat-trick and two assists and Koray Bozkaya (2G,3A) added a pair of goals and five points for YHA. Carson Lang (5-2-0) was tested often in net for Yale Hockey Academy, making 39 saves for his fifth win.

Delta Hockey Academy (10) at Okanagan Hockey Academy White (1) U17 Prep

Delta Hockey Academy (16-0-1) were back to their winning ways with a 10-goal outburst against Okanagan Hockey Academy White on Sunday. Miguel Marques (1G,2A) and Tomas Mrsic (4G) both extended their respective point-scoring streaks to 16 games, having recorded points in every game so far this season for Delta. Austin Barrett scored the lone goal on the powerplay for Okanagan Hockey Academy to break the shutout bid for goaltender, Darian Moberly (9-0-0), who turned aside 21 of 22 shots for his ninth win.

Notre Dame (5) at Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) U17 Prep

Notre Dame improved to 17-1-0 on the season with a tight win over Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (2-13-0). PMHA were trailing 3-1 after twenty minutes of play, but they kept the game close with powerplay goals from Sam Takahashi and Emmerson Sheward, and eventually tied the game 4-4 on a third period goal by Lazarus Constant (1G,1A). However, Wyatt Davis scored his sixth goal of the season, unassisted, at the 17:50 mark of the third period to give Notre Dame the edge in the game.听

International Hockey Academy (2) at RINK Winnipeg (3) U18 Prep

RINK Winnipeg improved to 13-6-0-2 on the season with a win over International Hockey Academy. Brett Kaiser scored his ninth goal of the year to give RHA Winnipeg the early lead, but Ty McKay would tie the game for IHA minutes later. Tyson Vouriot and Gavin Hodnett added tallies for RINK Winnipeg, and despite a goal from Eric Mullen late in the game to make things interesting, RHA Winnipeg would hold on for the win.

St. George’s School (7 OT) at Shawnigan Lake School Lake (6) U15 Prep

It was a back and forth game between St.George鈥檚 School and Shawnigan Lake School, as overtime was needed to determine a winner. Rui Han (2G,1A) scored two goals and added an assist, Amadeo Sim (1G,3A) and Jacob Henderson (4A) had four-point games and Aydan Wang (2G) scored twice, including the game-winner 0:55 seconds into overtime to give St.George鈥檚 the win.听

Delta Hockey Academy Black (1) at Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (7) U15 Prep

Noah Kosick (2G,4A) had a six-point performance for Pacific Coast Hockey Academy, Jace McFaul (1G,3A) had a goal and three assists, and Colton Alain scored twice to propel PCHA to the win over Delta Hockey Academy Black. Koen Cleaver (5-2-1) picked up his fifth win of the season, turning aside 23 of 24 shots he faced.

RINK Kelowna (4) at BWC Academy (3) U18 Prep

BWC Academy jumped out to a 2-0 lead 23 minutes into the game thanks to goals from Diego Buttazzoni and Aleksey Chichkin. Kadon McCann would respond with his first of the year for RHA Kelowna to close the gap within one heading into the third period. RHA Kelowna would take over from there scoring 3 goals in the first 10 minutes, including 2 in听 21 second span, to take a 4-2 lead. Ryder McIntosh would add a late tally to bring BWC Academy within one, but they were unable to find an equalizer as Evan Gardner (39/42) shut the door the rest of the way.听

CIH U18 (1) at Mount Academy U16 (7) Eastern

Backed by a four goal first period, Mount Academy defeated CIH 7-1 Sunday afternoon. Michael Arsenault (3G) and defenseman Ryan Fletcher (3A) led the way for the Mount offence in the win. Thatcher Hughes (1G,1A), Nicolas Lavoie (2A) and Owen MacPherson (2A) all had multi point games in the victory. Maxence Lemaire scored the lone CIH goal, beating Rylan Benner (25/26) late in the second period.听

Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (3) at St. George’s School (6) U18 Prep

Tied at two heading into the third period, St. George鈥檚 scored four straight goals in the third period as they defeated Pacific Coast 6-3. Vincent Cartier would score late for PCHA to end the St. George鈥檚 run but the team had no answer for St. George鈥檚 in the third. Blake Cotton (2G,1A) and Oscar Hill (2G,1A) each scored twice and defenseman Will McIsaac (3A) had three assists in the win.听

Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (3) at Yale Hockey Academy (2) U17 Prep

Stevan Fairlie scored the lone first period goal as OHA held a 1-0 lead after 20. Ethan Merner (1G,1A) would respond for Yale in the second, tying the game heading into the final period. Just 3:22 into the third EJ Emery would give Yale a 2-1 lead, but fresh off his overtime winner yesterday Rhett Miller tied the game just minutes later. William Jamieson (1G,1A) would be the hero for OHA, scoring with 2:17 left in the game to give them a 3-2 win. Jacob Burnside (36/38) and Maddox Osaka (37/40) were both impressive for their respective teams.听

Scotiabank Showcase Northern Alberta Xtreme (5) at Okanagan Hockey Academy (2) U15

Eric Ripka (1G,1A), Wyatt Mason, and Sawyer Dingman all scored within the first 8:36 of the game, giving NAX a 3-0 lead on just 5 shots. Keegan Sanders (2G) would score with 25 seconds left in the period to give OHA some life, but Jett Quaschnick (1G,1A) responded for NAX just 3:55 into the second period. Sanders would once again score for OHA, this time midway through the third, but Jordan Duguay (1G,1A) would add an empty netter with 53 seconds left to secure the NAX victory.听

West Van Academy (3/OT) at Okanagan Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep

After a scoreless first, West Van grabbed a 1-0 lead half way through the second on a goal from Ethan Rosenoff. OHA would respond in the third with back to back goals from Remy Spooner and Bartolomej Novotny. It looked as though OHA was about to win their first game of the season until Luke Korte scored with just seven second remaining to force overtime. Overtime solved nothing and it would take a total of 16 shooters before West Van would claim a 3-2 shootout win.听

OHA Edmonton (3) at Notre Dame (0) U18 Prep

Cooper Michaluk made 39 saves to earn his first shutout of the 2021/22 season as OHA Edmonton defeated Notre Dame 3-0. Corbin Pinch (2G) scored the lone second period goal and again halfway through the third to give OHA Edmonton a 2-0 lead. Brynn MacLean would score just 44 seconds later to clinch the OHA Edmonton victory. Oliver Tuchenhagen made 42 saves for Notre Dame in the loss.听

Scotiabank Showcase Edge School (11) at Rink Kelowna (1) U15

Edge outshot RHA Kelowna 52-22 and scored 11 times, earning their sixth win of the season. Owen Cooper (2G,2A), defenseman Elle Lorenz (2G,1A), and Lincoln Martin (2G,3A) all scored twice in the win. Tracen Ashley (3A), Calder Hutt (1G,2A), and Cruz Pavao (1G,2A) all had recorded three points. Adam Courchesne made 21 saves in the win.听

Shawnigan Lake School (2) at Yale Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep

Dayton Craik and Caleb Hadland (2G) traded first period goals before Jakob Loewen and Hadland would score in the second to give Yale a 3-1 lead heading into the third. Coco Armstrong would score midway through the period to bring Shawnigan within one but Connor Dale would score just minutes later and Marshall Finnie (1G,2A) would add an empty netter as Yale won 5-2. Both goalies faced 39 shots in the game, with Brady Smith (37/39) earning the win.听

Edge School (6) at Prairie Hockey Academy (3) U18 Prep

Hunter Sawka and Dylan Kinch (4G) both scored first period goals as Edge grabbed a 2-1 lead after 20. Ayden Peters would extend that lead early in the second, but Brennan Watterson and Chase Jocelyn scored three minutes apart to tie the game. Kinch would close out the period with two more goals, recording a hattrick with more than 20 minutes left to play. Kinch would continue with the hot stick in the third period, scoring his fourth of the game, providing Edge with an insurance marker with 7:07 left to play. Caleb Lepitre assisted on all three PHA goals.听

Delta Hockey Academy Green (3) at Yale Hockey Academy (4) U15 Prep

Grant Reid (1G,1A) scored twice and Savin Virk scored his eleventh of the season as Yale took off to a 3-0 lead half way through the game. Dane Pyatt would score 13:21 into the second to finally get Delta on the board but Will Sharpe (1G,1A) would score with 10 seconds left in the period to put Yale up by three. Delta would try to mount a late comeback as Cooper Stockdale and Zachary Pantelakis (1G,1A) would score in the final four minutes of the third, but they would ultimately come up short.
