However, the lead was short lived as Maddox Gandha (2G, 1A), Keaton Verhoeff and Cruz Waltze (1G, 1A) all found the back of the net for RHA Kelowna before the horn sounded to end the first. Gandha extended the lead before Royce Butler and Cameron Norrie (1G, 1A) swapped goals late in the second period. Brayden Ryan-Mackay (1G, 3A) and Nate Yellowaga (1G, 3A) each added four points in the win.听

NWCAA Flames U15 AAA (5) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) U15 Prep

A strong first period outing from the Flames was the difference maker over PCHA. Boris Sigachev (1G, 2A) got the Flames on the board just 3:01 in and would later provide the primary assist on Max Mooney鈥檚 second goal. Owen Bate got PCHA on the scoresheet shortly after, but this was all the offence PCHA was able to produce in this contest. Despite the loss, Lynden Mercier (51/56) still made a walloping 51-saves across the sixty minutes of play, fending off what could have been a much more lopsided affair.

North Shore Warriors (2) vs Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (5) U17 Prep

Wenatchee unleashed a shooting gallery upon their northern neighbours, firing 51-shots on goal compared to North Shore鈥檚 18. The two BB鈥檚, Braden Boman (2G, 1A) and Brayden Barker (3A) were the primary providers in this Wenatchee victory while Anthony Ganoung (16/18) comfortably steered aside 16-shots in goal. Chase Kittleson (1G, 2A) would provide a shorthanded goal in part of a three-point performance while Emmitt Neitsch (30/31) picked up 30-saves en route to victory.

Edge School (4) vs St. George’s School (5/SO) U15 Prep

Edge School started this match with the early 1-0 lead thanks to a jam play in front from Nathan Cole. However, a 5-minute major for head contact assessed to Brock England swayed momentum in favour of St. George鈥檚. The Vancouver-based academy failed to connect on the man advantage, but were able to test Carsten Leyerzapf (33/37) a fair bit. Come the second period, St. George鈥檚 found their groove as they exploded for three unanswered goals after Jayan Sinha (1G, 1A) sniped one in transition. St. George鈥檚 would have carried over a 3-1 lead into the third but a late tic-tac-toe play from Edge brought things to within one. Early in the third, Louis Oscar Holowaychuk tapped in a feed from Sinha to restore St. George鈥檚 two goal advantage. Everything was looking good for St. George鈥檚 until Edge unearthed a late push. Luke Jamieson made things a one goal game. Then only two minutes later, Joaquin Geras (1G, 2A) rifled home a wrister from the top of the slot, being Les Toth (37/41) and forcing overtime. Toth and Leyerzapf would each make their fair share of saves in the extra frame and would ultimately lead this game into a shootout. The first seven shooters in rotation were not able to beat those aforementioned goaltenders. It would come down to St. George鈥檚 Jack Poole who went on to beat Leyerzapf blocker side with a quick shot, ending Edge School鈥檚 comeback attempt and ending St. George鈥檚 regular season on a high note, snapping Edge鈥檚 15-game win streak in the process.

Levi Hollatz (23/23) was the star of RHA Kelowna Red鈥檚 triumph over OHA Black, picking up his second shutout of the season. Porter Rossi picked up the game winner late in the first on the powerplay while Joshua Johnstone nabbed a shorthanded goal in the second for the insurance marker. OHA mustered 7-shots on goal in the third to try and spark a comeback to no avail while Brayden Westman put away the game with less than two-minutes on the clock.听

RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (2) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (7) U15 Prep

NAX closed out their regular season with a bang over RHA Kelowna. Jaggar John (1G, 1A) put NAX on the board just under two-minutes in for his 20th of the campaign while Ben Harvey (1G, 2A) added another later in the first. NAX would go on to nab two shorthanded goals in the second, the first coming from Tyrie Ehrenberg (2G, 1A) and the second coming from Memphis Adeniken, putting this game out of reach for RHA Kelowna. Cam Hoose (23/25) was in goal for the victory, picking up his 10th win on the season.

Delta Hockey Academy (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (3) U15

Despite allowing the game’s first goal to get by, Yale still triumphed over Delta Hockey Academy on Sunday. Yianni Sergiannidis got Delta on the board early in the first, but his academy would surrender shortly after to Yale, keeping things tied up at the end of one. We wouldn鈥檛 see any more scoring until the third where Maxx Trites was able to push Yale in front after peppering Quinn Copeland (42/45) with shots for the greater part of fifty minutes. Matteo Zenone (2G) would later add his second of the game, sealing Delta鈥檚 regular season on a loss.

CIH Academy Green U18 (3) vs Ontario Hockey Academy Prep (8) Eastern U18

An early three goal swing from OHA Prep put CIH Green on their heels for the entirety of the match. Oliver Nilsgaard (2G) nabbed a quick two to build upon OHA Prep鈥檚 lead before Neil Iserhoff (2G) was able to stop the bleeding. This would only be temporary as Takanobu Hiraga (2G, 2A) added yet another two goals for OHA Prep before the end of the first, extending their lead to 5-1. OHA Prep would go on to add another three unanswered in the second, putting things out of reach for CIH Green. Oliver Kiraly (39/42) picked up the win between the pipes, playing an important role in goal as the shots only deviated by three.听

Northern Alberta Xtreme Blue (6) vs OHA Edmonton Black (2) U17 Prep

Jake MacDonald led NAX Blue out of the first frame with the lead, setting the tone for what was to commence in the second. Ethan Buhler (1G, 2A) scored the first of four unanswered for NAX Blue, extending their lead to a substantial 5-0 before the end of the second. OHA Edmonton Black scraped back two in the third, but that鈥檚 all they were able to get past Parker Snell (24/26) as NAX Blue cruised to victory.

Shawnigan Lake School (1) vs OHA Edmonton (15) U15 Prep

OHA Edmonton closed their regular season on a high note, scoring a season high 15-goals against Shawnigan Lake. Not a single skater left the rink without a point next to their name on the scoresheet. Walker Filewich (3G, 2A) and Zachary Schwartz (1G, 5A) were the top two scorers in this offensive display while Miles Hartmann (1G, 4A) also picked up 5-points. Seven other skaters scored at least 3-points in the match.

North Shore Warriors (2) vs Notre Dame (4) U15 Prep

Ryker Doka (2G) opened up Notre Dame鈥檚 scoring, putting them up by a score of two just halfway through the first period. Soon after Doka鈥檚 second, Thomas MacPhee (1G, 1A) added one of his own to further extend Notre Dame鈥檚 early lead. Scoring wouldn鈥檛 resume until the third period where Lucas Lekakis (2G) added another two goals to his outstanding weekend, but nothing more would get past Kurtis Stafkowski (23/25), whose strong play kept Notre Dame alive in the third as North Shore fired 17-shots on target.

St. George’s School (5) vs Yale Hockey Academy (7) U18 Prep

Fresh off his stint with the Kamloops Blazers in the WHL, Tommy Lafreniere (1G, 3A) made sure he was utilised in Yale鈥檚 final game of the regular season. The Whistler, BC native supplied 4-points en route to a 7-5 victory. However, it wasn鈥檛 all smooth sailing for Yale. St. George鈥檚 struck for four unanswered goals in the second after being down 3-0. If it wasn鈥檛 for Lafreniere鈥檚 late goal in the second to tie everything up again, this match could have ended in a different manner. In the third, Yale potted another three goals to secure the late victory.

Prairie Hockey Academy (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy Green (8) U15 Prep

A 4-point outing from Delta Green鈥檚 Caden Leibel (2G, 2A) was the motor behind their commanding victory over PHA. Maximus Craig (1G, 1A) got PHA on the board just under five-minutes into this contest. However, it was Leibel鈥檚 efforts that got Delta Green back into the game, scoring just over two-minutes later. Delta Green would go on to outscore PHA 7-1 through the rest of the match, securing a convincing victory.

OHA Edmonton (2) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (11) U15

NAX unloaded for 11-goals Sunday evening, going an impressive 4/7 on the powerplay on top of everything. Teagan Bouchard (1G, 3A), Easton Arndt (2G, 2A) and Bronsyn Mouille (2G, 2A) led the way with 4-point efforts while Will Kelts (1G, 3A) chipped in for 4-points from the blueline.听
