Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (7) vs Shawnigan Lake School (4) U17 Prep

Pacific Coast got off to a hot start as Maddoch Bond (2G) scored twice in the first 5:05 and Jack MacMillan (1G, 1A) added a power play goal midway through the period. Samuel Wilson found the back of the net with 33 seconds left in the period to get Shawnigan on the board. Ellis Thurmeier scored 3:38 into the second and McAllister Mugford added his sixth as Shawnigan tied the game late in the second. Brayden Howe (2G) would hit double digit goals just 58 seconds later to put Pacific Coast back on top. The PCHA power play would catch fire in the third as Phoenix Moyer-Isram (1G, 1A), Haydyn Brooks (1G, 1A) and Howe all tallied on the man advantage. Liam Downie (1G, 1A) would reply for Shawnigan three minutes later but it was too late to overcome the deficit as PCHA held on for a 7-4 victory in a game that they outshot Shawnigan 51-17.听

Stanstead College (4) vs Kuper Academy (1) East U17

Alexis Lavoie and Michael Paliotti traded first period goals as the two teams were even at 1-1 after 20. Liam Armit (1G, 1A) scored the lone second period goal 6:27 in as Stanstead regained the lead heading into the third. Kuper Academy would make a late push as they searched for the equalizer, but Matej Dobos and Cory Logan each scored empty net goals in the final minute to secure the 4-1 Stanstead win. Gabriel Poitras (26/27) made 26 saves for the win while Jeremy Lemieux (44/46) was in net for Kuper in the loss.听

Edge School (7) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (3) U17

Ashmit Bubbar and Darius Odermatt (3G, 1A) scored first period markers while Evan Lynch and Odermatt added goals in the second as Edge held a 4-0 lead through 40 minutes of play. Odermatt completed the hat-trick just 15 seconds into the third with a power play goal, his 25th goal of the season. The NAX offence would wake up in the third as Cassius McDonald (1G, 1A), Parker Aitken beat Emerson Popil (31/34) less than three minutes apart. Jacob Kuntz (1G, 1A) would reply for Edge 42 seconds later but NAX wouldn鈥檛 go away quietly as Seth Kshyk replied 21 seconds after that. That was as close as NAX would get as Henry Doucette (1G, 1A) added his 13th of the year with 1:18 remaining to secure the 7-3 Edge win. Lenox Alanen (42/49) made 42 saves in the loss.听

Notre Dame (1) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (11) U18 Prep

The Prairie power play went 7-for-8 in an 11-1 victory over Notre Dame Wednesday evening. Luke Myhre (2G, 2A), Hubert Larose (2G, 2A) and Henry Thunderblanket (2G, 4A) all scored twice while defenseman Ryland Molde (1G, 4A) had a four point game to pace the Prairie offence. Defenseman Ronan Shirtliffe scored the lone Notre Dame goal, beating Cameron Beisal (19/20) on the power play midway through the second.听

Edge School (3) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (1) U18 Prep

CIHA grabbed the games first goal with 48 seconds left in the first when Benett Kelly beat Leif Oaten (22/23) for his sixth goal of the season. Nick Wytrychowski (1G, 1A) tied the game 3:06 into the second with his fourth of the year. Brock England (2G) would score the go-ahead goal midway through the frame before doubling the lead early in the third with a power play goal. Oaten would make 17 saves through the final 40 minutes to hold off any CIHA comeback attempts as Edge earned a 3-1 win. Sartaj Dhami (29/32) made 29 saves in net for CIHA.听

Prairie Hockey Academy (8) vs Notre Dame (2) U17 Prep

Bray Harris scored for Notre Dame 6:38 in but Kade Kahovec (3G) tied the game 1:12 later and scored the go-ahead goal 3:26 after that. Seamus Dillon doubled the Prairie lead with eight seconds remaining in the first. Ramsey Thompson scored a minute into the second while Kahovec completed the hat-trick 5:35 later. Soren Hayden added his sixth of the year as Prairie held a 6-1 lead after 40. Khalen Menger (1G, 1A) halted the run 7:27 into the third but Jamie Kirwan (1G, 1A) and Dillon scored late power play goals as Prairie earned an 8-2 win Thursday. Karter Hilbig (23/25) and Clay Harmon (37/45) were in net for their respective teams.
