King鈥檚 Edgehill led 2-0 after 20 as Riko Salutskij (1G, 1A) and Cole Cooper scored first period goals. Mount would tie the game in the second as James Martin and Matthew Goodine scored 1:56 apart midway through the period. Having been largely outshot in the previous two periods, KES would take over the third as Liam Befus (1G, 1A) and Izaac Brosseau (1G, 1A) scored 44 seconds apart early in the frame to put their team ahead. Carter Cooling (1G, 1A) and Kasper Kossila would add late power play goals as King鈥檚 Edgehill earned a 6-2 win. William Bridgeo (39/41) stopped 39 shots in net for the win. Cedrick Provencher (31/37) was in net for Mount in the loss.听
Bishop’s College School (6) vs Bourget College (5) East U18
Bourget came flying out of the gate as Keifer Pion-Robin, Olivier Tetreault (1G, 1A) and Samy Taher all found the back of the net in the first. Nathan Birch (1G, 1A) would counter for Bishop鈥檚 22 seconds later, with 27 seconds left in the first. This would kick-start a Bishop鈥檚 run as Adam Straka (2G), Jan Labasta and Zach Jockers scored in the second, and Dominic Schnarr and Straka scored 1:10 apart in the third as a 3-0 deficit turned into a 6-3 lead. Bourget would attempt to make a comeback as goals from Elie Robert (1G, 1A) and William Sasseville brought them within one, though the Sasseville goal was scored with just six seconds left. Felix-Antoine Emond (31/36) would ultimately finish with 31 saves to earn the win. Roey Vered (42/48) made 42 saves in the loss.听
Selwyn House School (9) vs Mount Academy (1) East U17
Selwyn House outshot Mount Academy 64-33 en route to a 9-1 win Friday. Gianluca Velenosi (3G, 1A) recorded a hat-trick and Julian Harroch (1G, 4A) led all skaters with five points to pace the offence. Jace Hynes scored the lone Mount goal 22 seconds into the third period to end the Luca Ottoni (32/33) shutout bid.听
OHA Edmonton (1) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (6) U17
Felix MacMillan and Reid Kawaguchi scored 34 seconds apart less than four minutes in as Prairie grabbed a quick lead. Hudson Blair would get OHA Edmonton on the board 1:50 later with a power play goal. Seth Watson would respond with a power play goal of his own 1:56 after that. Up 3-1 in the second, Zander Watson (2G, 1A) and defenseman Tyson Ross (1G, 2A) added to the Prairie lead in the middle frame. Watson would score again midway through the third to complete the scoring in a 6-1 Prairie win. Cole Fox (25/26) made 25 saves for his sixth win of the season.听
Delta Hockey Academy (6) vs North Shore Warriors (0) U17 Prep
Matthew Wong (19/19) stopped all 19 saves he faced to pick-up his third shutout and 16th win of the season as Delta defeated North Shore 6-0. Wyatt Callander (1G, 1A), Kishan Saggu (2G, 1A) and Jack Morgan (1G, 1A) scored first period goals, Caden Leibel and Saggu scored in the second, and Beckett Matlock added a third period marker in the win.听
Shawnigan Lake School (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy Green (5) Female U18 Prep
In Friday鈥檚 feature matchup, second and third seeded teams Delta Green and Shawnigan Lake put it all on the line. Shawnigan鈥檚 Alix Walchuk put on a (27/31) put on a clinic in the first, making eighth saves along with a big stop on a penalty shot. Maisie Cope (20/22) also remained perfect through twenty for Delta Green. The scoring would begin to commence in the second as Payton Finnie (2G) redirected a point shot home for the initial lead. Shortly after, Shawnigan would find the scoresheet after Grace Cooper polished off a clean tic-tac-toe passing play. Delta Green would strike back just over a minute later as Mackenzie Galick nabbed her third of the season. To close out the frame, London McDavid would capitalise on听 a fortunate bounce in front to extend Delta Green鈥檚 lead. Shawnigan came out strong in the third with a quick goal from Leah Hill. However, Cope would keep the door shut from there on out, making a few key stops while Molly Cole (1G, 2A) racked up her 20th of the season as the insurance marker. Finnie would later add her second on the empty net, sealing the Friday win for Delta Green.听
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (3) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy Female (0) U18 Prep
Jorja Moore (37/40) stopped 16 first period shots to keep the game scoreless heading into the first intermission. Defenseman Kilah Hodder (1G, 1A) would break through for RHA Kelowna 3:12 into the second, beating Moore for her third goal of the season. Brielle Kelly-Paquet and Jillian McLaughlin added goals 2:15 apart midway through the period as RHA Kelowna grabbed a 3-0 lead. Jaya Schippel (18/18) would make seven third period saves to keep OHA off the board and secure her third shutout of the season.听
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (8) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (2) Female U18 Prep
RHA Winnipeg started the game with 2 power play goals 49 seconds apart as Ava Hrubeniuk (1G, 1A) and Sydney Stibbard (1G, 1A) found the back of the net. Rowyn Street (1G, 1A) added to the lead in the first before Payton Chornley (3G) scored twice in the second alongside an Attica Sobering (2G, 2A) marker. Kaitlyn Senkoe would get NAX on the board 2:36 into the third but Chornley would quickly reply to complete the hat-trick. Brynn Evans (1G, 1A) and Sobering traded goals to close out the final minutes of the third. Bailey Schwartz (32/34) stopped 32 shots in net for the win.听
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) vs South Alberta Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep
SAHA would open the scoring late in the first as Sully Kufflick found the back of the net on the power play. Carson Ward added a tally in the final minute of the period to double the lead heading into the second. Riley Miller would get RHA Winnipeg within one midway through the game before SAHA added another goal in the final minute of a period, this time from Liam Green (1G, 2A). Gavin Quennelle would set the third up for an exciting finish, scoring 2:38 into the frame to bring RHA Winnipeg back within one. But Hunter Zawislak (21/23) would stand tall the rest of the way to secure the SAHA 3-2 win.听
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (9) vs STAR Hockey Academy (0) U17 Prep
Joshua Johnstone (2G, 1A) and Preston Kelly-Paquet (2G) each scored twice while Kai Ebert (13/13) needed to make just 13 saves as RHA Kelowna shutout STAR 9-0. Brody Bradshaw, Kesler Hamilton, Logan Lanti (1G, 1A), Bennett Macek, and Hudson Podollan (1G, 1A) added the other goals for RHA Kelowna in the win.听
Okanagan Hockey Academy (2) vs North Shore Warriors (1) U17
A goaltending battle saw Tyson Kuiack (30/31) and OHA defeat Erik Blair (39/41) 2-1 Friday. After a scoreless first period Nishaan Jauhol opened the scoring with 5:48 remaining in the second. Beckham Taggart (1G, 1A) tied the game 6:10 into the third and Brody Shilton (1G, 1A) scored the game winner for OHA 1:55 later with a power play marker.听
Delta Hockey Academy (3) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) U18 Prep
Eli Tverdovsky (3G) opened the scoring with his 13th goal of the season for OHA. Cruz Waltze quickly countered for Delta, tying the game 2:34 later. OHA would regain the lead midway through the period as Brayden Tremblay and Tverdovsky scored 20 seconds apart. Nicholas Campbell and Jack Tudhope scored less than two minutes apart in the second to tie the game. Cohen Handby (2G) restored the OHA lead 2:06 later with a power play marker. Tverdovsky completed the hat-trick 2:18 into the third before Handby added another power play goal. Ethan Makokis (1G, 2A) scored with just one second left on the clock to rub salt into the wound in a 7-3 win.听
North Shore Warriors (1) vs Yale Hockey Academy (6) U18 Prep
Evan Cook (1G, 1A) scored his ninth goal of the season just 15 seconds in as Yale gained early momentum. They would turn that momentum into a 4-0 lead as Jacob Dumansky (1G, 1A) added a first period goal and Ryker Swanson and Matthew Dowdall scored in the second. Dominic Seminoff would hit double digit goals 2:10 later to get North Shore on the board and trailing by three going into the third. Jayden Oleskiw and Dryden Deobald extended the Yale advantage in the third, securing a 6-1 win. Nathan Kam (30/31) made 3o saves in net for his eighth win of the year.听
Notre Dame (2) vs Edge School (15) U15
Edge put up 58 shots in a 15-2 win over Notre Dame Friday night. Brody Antignani (4G, 4A) added to his league leading point total with a team high eight points in the win. Cade Mazurski (2G, 5A) and Luke Bodtker (2G, 4A) each had massive outings of their own. Jax Baumuller and Drew Patterson scored for Notre Dame in the loss.听
Northern Alberta Xtreme vs Notre Dame U17
Notre Dame led 1-0 after 20 as Carter Smith scored with 1:25 left in the period. The lone second period goal belonged to NAX as Kegan Power (1G, 1A) scored on the power play to level the score. Notre Dame would score three straight to start the third period as Ryker Schwab and Ryder Pisiak scored even strength while Jordan Van Langen (1G, 1A) tallied a power play marker. Parker Aitken would cut into the deficit 1:06 later but NAX was unable to muster a comeback as they fell to Notre Dame 4-2. Joshua Heitman (34/36) earned the win while Parker Sneazwell (27/31) was charged with the loss.听
Northern Alberta Xtreme vs OHA Edmonton U17 Prep
Matthew Coyle (28/30) and Dysen Loewen (38/41) kept the game scoreless through the first 20 minutes of play. Jevyn Singh Gill would open the scoring for OHA Edmonton 1:26 into the second period. NAX defenseman Aiden Across The Mountain would tie the game 4:24 later with his fifth of the year. Cash Brebant would restore the OHA Edmonton lead with 19 seconds left in the second period. Bronsyn Mouille would hit double digit goals and tie the game midway through the third. Robin Stockl would give NAX their first lead 2:18 later, a lead that they would hold onto for the remaining 5:19 of play.听
Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (0) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (8) U17 Prep
OHA put on an offensive clinic, scoring 8 times on 67 shots in an 8-0 win over CDA. Maxx Parfitt (3G, 2A) led the way with a hat-trick and two assists while defenseman David Aggen (2G, 1A) scored twice. Aneil Dhesi, Ethan Dimand (1G, 1A) and Diezyl Hehr scored the other goals for OHA. Linden Sobocan (23/23) made 12 saves for his 10th win and third shutout of the season. Alex Doyer (59/67) made 69 saves in the loss.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (8) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (2) U18 Prep
Trace Anderson (1G, 2A) scored just 18 seconds in to give Pacific Coast the first goal of the game. Parson Shahi (2G, 2A) doubled the lead 6:25 later as he hit double digit goals on the season. Riley Pederson would get RHA Kelowna on the board less than three minutes later with a power play goal, but it was cancelled out by an Elliott Hill (3G) even strength marker. Dominik Silbernagel made it a one goal game 1:36 into the second with his sixth goal of the season. Pacific Coast would reply with two power play goals with Jordan Ramsay and Shahi each finding the back of the net. Pacific Coast would crush any potential RHA Kelowna comeback dreams as Hill scored 7:27 in before Maxwell Hoey (1G, 1A) scored his fourth of the year. Hill would complete the hat-trick just 12 seconds later, rounding out the scoring in an 8-2 win. Sam Saskiw (41/43) made 41 saves in the win.
