Despite being shorthanded, Gianluca Velenosi (1G, 2A) opened the scoring for Selwyn House 6:49 into the game. Sean Perry would tie the game on the same Mount power play scoring his fourth of the year. Dimitri Rodoussakis would put Selwyn House ahead with 24 seconds remaining in the first, scoring his first of the season. Special teams continued to be a factor in the second as Tommy Nicolopoulos (1G, 1A) and Yulen Billy (1G, 3A) scored power play goals for Selwyn House. Backed by two more shorthanded goals, Selwyn House dominated the third period, scoring five times to claim a 9-1 win. Julian Harroch (3G, 2A) scored three of the five third period goals to record a hat-trick.听
Shawnigan Lake School (11) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black (0) Female U18 Prep
Shawnigan started the game with three special teams goals en route to an 11-0 win. Taya Lonsdale (4G, 1A) scored shorthanded and on the power play, while Meera Smith (3G, 3A) added a power play goal of her own. By the end of the first Lonsdale would already have a hat-trick, with Smith completing the feat by the end of the second. Lonsdale added one more goal in the third while Zoe Cramer (2G, 5A) scored twice in the third to go along with her five assists. Alix Walchuk (18/18) made 18 saves for third shutout of the season.听
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) vs Edge School (7) U17 Prep
A power play goal by defenseman Reeve Waugh (1G, 1A) saw Edge lead 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Brady Keith tied the game 50 seconds into the second but Finn Howes countered on the power play 48 seconds later. Izayah Zaharko (1G, 2A) and Liam Lacey would quickly add goals of their own as Edge scored three times in less than two minutes. Ashton McCann (2G, 2A) closed out the second period scoring by adding a shorthanded tally. Isaac Sousa (1G, 1A) gave RHA Winnipeg life 3:39 into the third, scoring a power play goal. However, Edge would again have a quick response as Antoinio Cazac (1G, 1A) scored on the power play 1:16 later. McCann would add a late even strength marker as Edge took home a 7-2 win. Adam Courchesne (33/35) made 33 saves for his eighth win of the year.听
Northern Alberta Xtreme (1) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (6) U17
Zander Watson (1G, 2A) struck on the power play with 50 seconds left in the first as Prairie held a 1-0 advantage. Braden Thompson doubled the lead 3:27 into the second before Tyson Ross (1G, 2A) and Luka Iskra scored 15 seconds apart to extend the advantage. Porter Dickson would get NAX on the board with a power play marker 1:36 later as Prairie led 4-1 heading into the third. Kayin Belton and Kashton Smith (1G, 1A) ensured there would be no NAX comeback as they scored inside the opening 6:31 of the third to put the game well out of reach.听
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) vs BWC Academy (7) U15
Carter Yule (1G, 1A) scored the lone first period goal as BWC Academy led 1-0 after 20. Wyatt Lowther (2G) scored 41 seconds into the second before Ethan Kartadinata (3G, 1A) scored two power play goals in a span of 1:24. Eric Prexler (1G, 1A) would add an even strength goal for BWC Academy 31 seconds later to increase their advantage to 5-0 heading into the third. Kaz Westcott would get Pacific Coast on the board 37 seconds into the third, ending the Jordan Bigelow (17/18) shutout bid. Kartadinata would complete the hat-trick midway through the period and Lowther hit 20 goals on the season late in the period as BWC Academy claimed the commanding 7-1 win.听
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (3) vs STAR Hockey Academy (7) U17 Prep
15th ranked STAR Hockey Academy (15-11-3) upset 1st ranked RHA Kelowna (24-5-0) with a 7-3 win Sunday. RHA Kelowna outshot STAR 50-28 but Sam Trnecka (47/50) made 47 saves to secure the win for STAR. Joshua Johnstone opened the scoring for RHA Kelowna while Tyler Gillespie tied the game with a shorthanded marker 4:04 later. Anderson Carter gave STAR their first lead 7:23 into the second. Logan Lanti (1G, 1A) tied the game 51 seconds later with a shorthanded goal, but Aleks Ostrovskyy (3G, 1A) scored on the same power play 1:38 later to put STAR ahead. Ostrovskyy scored shorthanded four minutes later to double the STAR lead. Preston Kelly-Paquet brought RHA Kelowna within one 41 seconds later, before defenseman Kyler Bush (1G, 1A) scored another STAR power play goal. Colton Stabbler scored 3:30 in to add to the lead and Ostrovskyy completed the hat-trick with three seconds left, scoring an empty net goal.听
OHA Edmonton (9) vs Notre Dame (3) U17
Kaiden Turta (3G) and Hudson Blair (1G, 2A) scored first period goals for OHA Edmonton as they grabbed a 2-0 lead on the road. Landon Sokoloski would get Notre Dame on the board 38 seconds into the second and Kohl Stephen (2G) would tie the game less than four minutes later. Gabriel Kantor restored the OHA Edmonton lead just 43 seconds later and Rhett Hudson (1G, 3A) doubled the lead on the power play midway through the period. OHA Edmonton would take total control in the third as Turta and Kaedyn Scherer (2G, 1A) each scored twice, with Turta completing the hat-trick. Daniel Marsden (21/24) would finish with 21 saves for the win.听
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs Indigenous Sports Academy (7) U17 Prep
Clemens Pfeifer opened the scoring for Pilot Mound 2:10 into the game. Owen Sinclair (2G, 1A) and Karson Ledoux (2G, 1A) scored 2:16 apart for ISA as they grabbed a 2-1 lead. Collin Friedrich (1G, 1A) and Tyson Bird traded goals to close out the period. Chadrick Schulz (1G, 1A) tied the game 7:23 into the second before Carsen Chipesia (1G, 1A) and Luke Adam (1G, 1A) swapped goals as the third period started tied 4-4. Chaunde Jack (1G, 1A) scored the ISA game winner 44 seconds into the third and Ledoux doubled the lead just 12 seconds later. Sinclair added an insurance marker midway through the third as ISA earned the 7-4 win at home. Holden Fauchon (43/47) made 43 saves for the win, while Barrett Hayes (31/38) was charged with the loss.听
Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (2) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (11) U17 Prep
OHA outshot CDA 63-21 en route to an 11-2 beatdown Sunday afternoon. Ethan Dimand (3G, 2A), Ben Fragle (1G, 4A) and Diezyl Hehr (2G, 3A) led the OHA offence with five points each. Luke Assi (2G) chipped in with two goals, while defenseman Kolton Denich (1G, 2A) added three points. Artem Gunko and Matthew Latscha scored for CDA in the loss.听
OHA Edmonton (6/OT) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (5) U15
Jakub Palmer (2G, 1A) opened the scoring and Deklan Street (1G, 1A) scored shorthanded less than two minutes later as Prairie led 2-0. Kirk Girard (1G, 1A) would get OHA Edmonton on the board 1:09 later, scoring the first of four power play goals. Palmer and Hudson Honey opened the second by scoring 41 seconds apart, giving Prairie the 4-1 advantage. Marek Pashko would score shorthanded and Ian Kim on the power play to bring OHA Edmonton within one. Addison Wanner (1G, 1A) scored late in the period to double the Prairie lead. The OHA Edmonton power play stayed hot in the third as Gavin Gong (2G) struck twice in a span of 3:24 to tie the game, sending it to overtime. In OT, Ben Desautels (1G, 2A) would score his first goal of the season 3:09 in to give OHA Edmonton the win in a game in which they never led. Connor Phillips (16/21) and Conner Aldag (31/37) were in net for their respective teams.听
North Shore Warriors (5) vs Yale Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep
A tightly contested first saw North Shore come out ahead as Chase Vossenaar (1G, 1A) scored his 23rd of the year. Tobin Schaefer (1G, 2A) struck for North Shore in the second, while Kaleb Gauthier countered for Yale on the power play. Robert Orr would score a North Shore power play goal of his own 3:13 into the third, before Landon Kelly (1G, 1A) extended the advantage 1:33 later. Kessler Hauser would respond for Yale 1:29 after that as the two teams continued to trade blows. Luke Blanchard and Maxx Trites swapped goals midway through the frame, but Yale was unable to gain any more ground as Oscar Hicik (37/40) finished with 37 saves for the North Shore victory. Jason Ho (24/29) was charged with the loss.听
Notre Dame (1) vs Edge School (8) U15
Luke Tschetter (3A) led the Edge offence with three points in an 8-1 win over Notre Dame. Brody Antignani (1G, 1A), Cade Mazurski (1G, 1A), defenseman Tyler O鈥橤orman (1G, 1A) and Charlie Usher all scored once and added an assist for Edge in the win. Brett Bochek scored the lone Notre Dame goal, beating Hudson Andrews (10/11) 2:39 into the third period.听
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) vs St. George’s School (4) U17 Prep
Les Toth (31/32) outdulled Parker Parrish (20/24) to steal the 4-1 win for St. George鈥檚. Byron Chin (2G, 2A) and Jason Gao (1G, 3A) had a helping hand in all four St. George鈥檚 goals. Holden Tuttle added the other St. George鈥檚 goal, opening the scoring 7:02 into the first. Francesco Ruffolo scored the lone Pacific Coast goal midway through the second period.听
Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) vs Delta Hockey Academy (4) U17
Akash Raj scored his seventh goal of the season while on the power play, giving Delta the lead after 20. Christian Sum (1G, 1A) extended the advantage midway through the second with his 11th of the year. Defenseman Luke Edgehouse (2G) would strike for OHA 1:38 later, and again later in the frame to tie the game heading into the third. OHA erased the 2-0 deficit as Beckham Taggart gave them the lead just 19 seconds into the third. Logan Pankhurst (1G, 1A) made sure the lead was short-lived as he beat Tyson Kuiack (17/21) 50 seconds later. Kantawit Tiaowvanich would score the game winning goal seven minutes into the final frame as 10th ranked Delta upset third ranked OHA. Blake Langdon (34/37) made 34 saves for the win.听
Mount Academy (5) vs King’s Edgehill School (4) East U18
Alex Laboissonniere (1G, 1A) and Cohen Paul scored 36 seconds apart less than four minutes in as Mount grabbed an early 2-0 advantage. Izaac Brosseau (1G, 1A) would strike for KES 10 minutes later to get them on the board and within one. Ewen Morgan and Justin Hughes (2G) started the second with two more goals for Mount as they increased their lead to 4-1. Jack Sangster (1G, 1A) would get one back for KES on the power play and Liam Befus would add an even strength goal 2:45 later to make it a one goal game. Hughes would score the eventual game winner for Mount 16 seconds into the third, doubling their lead. Another KES power play goal, this time by Josh Fleury, made it a one goal game with more than 13 minutes remaining. But William Talbot (39/43) and Mount would hold off the KES flurry and secure the 5-4 win. Nolan Herritt (41/46) faced 46 shots in the loss.听
Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (1) vs North Shore Warriors (5) U18 Prep
North Shore led 2-0 after 20 as Matteo Paradiso (3G, 1A) and Dominic Seminoff (1G, 2A) scored in the first. Paradiso and Vladislav Ibragimov scored in the second as North Shore had total control of the game heading into the third. Paradiso completed the hat-trick with 7:11 remaining, putting the game well out of striking distance. Collin Ubrig would end the Georgi Milanov (23/24) shutout bid 29 seconds later with his seventh goal of the campaign.听
BWC Academy (4) vs Shawnigan Lake School (7) U18 Prep
A chaotic first period saw each team score three times as Vincent Croteau (1G, 1A), Nigel Alberts (2G) and Koen Gauthier scored for Shawnigan, while Jonathan Bitonti, Richard Wonyeneh (1G, 1A) and William Shepard (1G, 1A) countered for BWC Academy. The action would die down in the second as Logan Lepinski (1G, 1A) scored a power play goal for BWC Academy and Matthew MacKay scored shorthanded for Shawingan. The Shawnigan offence would ramp back up in the third as Alberts scored the game winner with 6:36 remaining. Easton Sangris (1G, 1A) would add a later power play goal and Brandon Kendall clinched the victory with an empty net marker with 27 seconds left. Shawnigan defenseman Wylie Wen (4A) led all skaters with four points.听
Bourget College (1) vs Stanstead College (3) East U17
An early Stanstead penalty led to Luca Castrechini scoring a Bourget power play goal 1:34 into the game. Liam Armit would tie the game 5:50 into the second, hitting double digit goals on the season. Hubert Melancon scored the eventual game winner six minutes later as Stanstead led 2-1 after 40. Eelus Lehtoranta doubled the lead midway through the third, giving Stanstead some breathing room. Jonas Murrer (14/15) would secure the Stanstead win with 14 saves, playing 58 minutes of scoreless hockey after letting in the early Bourget goal. Christian Spinnou (33/36) faced 36 shots in the loss.听
South Alberta Hockey Academy (4/SO) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep
Logan Penston scored 56 seconds in and Declan Cardiff added his seventh 3:01 later as CIHA grabbed an early 2-0 lead. William Matte would add to the lead with a power play goal 10 minutes later. SAHA would start to cut into the lead late in the period as Kutcher Aquila (1G, 1A) and Aidan Poulin scored less than two minutes apart. After a scoreless second period defenseman Grady McLeod (1G, 1A) tied the game on the power play with 12:22 remaining. The two teams would head to overtime, and eventually a shootout, where Poulin scored the lone goal and Hunter Zawislak (41/44) stopped all three CIHA shooters as SAHA completed the comeback with a 4-3 shootout win. Ethan Mann (44/47) faced 47 shots in net for CIHA.听
Delta Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (8) U18 Prep
A strong first from Delta saw them leave the frame up 2-1, outshooting RHA Kelowna 17-7. Jaiven Mann (2G) had netted both goals for Delta. Early in the second, Maddox Gandha (2G, 2A) pounced for a shorthanded tally, tying things up. A couple minutes later Aidan Fisher (3G) gave RHA Kelowna their first lead. Both teams would continue to swing back-and-forth till the next intermission, leaving us tied 4-4 through forty. In the third, it was all RHA Kelowna. Benjamin Bowtell (1G, 1A) would score the eventual game winner while Fisher completed his hat-trick with a powerplay goal. Conner Nicolson (37/41) remained strong in goal for RHA Kelowna in the final frame, stopping all 12-shots for a grand total of 37-saves in the win.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (1) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (2/OT) U18 Prep
The lone first period goal belonged to Pacific Coast as Jordan Ramsay scored on the power play. Chayse Johnson (31/32) and Sam Saskiw (49/51) both kept clean sheets in the second as it remained a 1-0 PCHA lead heading into the third. It looked as though Pacific Coast would hold on but Charlie Grant (2G) tied the game with just two seconds remaining. Riding that momentum, Grant would score the game winner 1:47 into overtime as OHA completed the comeback.听
STAR Hockey Academy (3) vs Yale Hockey Academy (8) U15
Max Ritchey (1G, 1A) scored once and Ben Bury (3G, 1A) twice as Yale took a 3-0 lead into the first intermission. It was more of the same in the second as Ryker Stevens (1G, 4A) scored 56 seconds in and Matthew Lavoie and Gavin Beza added goals of their own. Mason Olson would strike once for STAR in the period as they trailed 6-1 after 40. Bury would complete the hat-trick 3:49 into the third. Seve Paladino (1G, 1A) would get one back for STAR before Connor Baines and ET Kennedy (1G, 1A) traded goals to close out the game.听
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (8/OT) vs Indigenous Sports Academy (7) U18 Prep
A high scoring affair saw the two teams combine for 15 goals, 10 of which came on the power play. After winning their first game of the season yesterday, ISA grabbed the game’s first goal when Emery Medicine Shield (2G, 1A) struck 3:51 in. Michael Tracy (2G, 1A) would score two power play goals in 23 seconds and Riley Robert added another Pilot Mound power play goal to give their team a 3-1 lead. Tayvian Delorme (2G, 2A)and Lawson Gardipy (1G, 2A) scored power play goals of their own to even the score heading into the second. Pilot Mound would start the second with power play goals from defensemen Matous Masek (1G, 2A) and Troy Zajac (1G, 3A) 23 seconds apart, 2:13 in. Brenden Reeve (1G, 1A) added another power play goal midway through the frame before Bryden Cochrane (1G, 1A) halted the run with an even strength marker. Delorme struck 5:02 into the third and Holden Parada (1G, 1A) tied the game 2:20 later with another ISA power play marker. Austin Polonoski (1G, 2A) gave Pilot Mound the lead with 6:09 left with their seventh power play goal of the game. Medicine Shield, who had been denied on a penalty shot in the second, forced overtime with 1:44 remaining. In OT, William Picklyk (1G, 1A) scored Pilot Mounds first even strength goal of the game 20 seconds into the extra frame to give them an 8-7 win.听
OHA Edmonton (1) vs Northern Alberta Xtreme (4) U17 Prep
The NAX forecheck caused chaos among the OHA Edmonton skaters, leading to turnovers resulting in goals for Kaysun Brunham and Jackson Tetreault (1G, 1A). Kalton Mortson extended the NAX lead midway through the second, banking in a shot off Aidan Prosser (40/44) from a sharp angle. OHA Edmonton would show signs of life early in the third as Keenan Fox took a Jaggar John stretch pass for a partial breakaway, fighting off the NAX defender and beating Cam Hoose (27/28) with a move to the backhand. That was as close as OHA Edmonton would get as Aiden Across The Mountain split the defence and fired a shot along the ice that found the back of the net with 4:58 remaining.听
OHA Edmonton (1) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep
Sartaj Dhami (22/23) and Parker Snell (38/40) would stand tall through the first 40 minutes, keeping clean sheets into the third. Oscar Gockel would finally open the scoring for OHA Edmonton, scoring on the power play 53 seconds into the third. Jack Coghlan would tie the game with 10:03 remaining and Gabriel Iervella scored the game winner for CIHA with 2:29 left to play, completing the comeback.听
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (7) U15
OHA led 2-0 after 20 as Hudson Wicharuk (1G, 1A) and Owen Magness (2G, 2A) struck inside the opening five minutes of play. Harrison Sharman got RHA Kelowna on the board 7:51 into the second before Mason Liebel (2G) and Harlan Grimsdell traded goals 17 seconds apart. Lux Naka countered for OHA with a power play goal and Liebel added another OHA marker to extend the advantage heading into the third. Brit Thorne added to the lead while shorthanded to start the second period. Hayden Carpenter replied for RHA Kelowna before Magness and Oliver Peck scored five seconds apart as the game ended 7-4 in favour of OHA.
