Delta Hockey Academy defenseman Ryan Lin has signed his Western Hockey League (WHL) Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Vancouver Giants.

Lin spent the last two seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with the Delta Hockey Academy U15 Prep team. During the 2021/22 campaign Lin would record 31 points in 29 regular season games before adding 5 points in 5 playoff games as Delta Green captured the 2022 CSSHL U15 Prep Western Championship.

This season Lin would lead all defensemen with 17 goals while chipping in 24 assists in 27 regular season games. Lin would add two points in three playoff games as Delta Green was eliminated in the quarter finals. Following his teams elimination Lin would join the Delta U17 Prep team for the remainder of their playoffs where he would contribute seven points in five playoff games as Delta lost in overtime in the finals.

The Giants selected the Richmond, BC defender in the first round, sixth overall at the 2023 WHL Draft.
