Edge School U18 Prep goaltender, , has been a big supporter of HEROS Hockey for a few years. In 2023, Ryley raised $5,000 to help send fellow goalie Harrison Markin and his SuperHEROS teammates to their first tournament in Ontario. In August, Ryley , and on Friday, March 1, 2024 the Saskatoon Blades prospect was honoured prior to a home game vs OHA Edmonton for not only reaching his fundraising goal, but surpassing it – raising $13,500 for HEROS! When the campaign ended on April 30th, that total had surpassed $14,000.

.

“What SuperHEROS does helping kids and giving them the chance to play the sport that I love, that’s really special” says Ryley. “I want to try and make a career out of hockey and this is something that I want to continue along with it. I think we can bring more into the sport than just the game and this is a big piece to me.”

From a HEROS Hockey Instagram post:

This season, Ryley raised funds for every save and shutout he made through his  campaign. With the help of his partners, EnerCorp, DLR Vinyl Products, Adrenalin Source for Sports, and The Meyer Family, Ryley has helped ensure players have everything they need to find success on and off the ice, raising over $13,000! In addition to running , Ryley has also devoted countless hours to attending HEROS practices, giving time to our teams and players. He’s not only a helpful friend to many but a mentor and pillar in the community. We are so proud of Ryley and grateful for his wonderful support and all the awareness he’s brought to HEROS. This fundraiser showed immense leadership on his part. Amazing work!

Ryley, congratulations on not only raising money for HEROS, but for being a true champion for their organization as well. We are proud of all of the work you have done and continue to do to support HEROS in the community.
