The Wenatchee Wild have been accepted into the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) as its 27th member for the 2023/24 season as voted by the league鈥檚 Board of Governors.
鈥淲e are very excited to have been accepted into the CSSHL. The history of the academics and hockey in the CSSHL is second to none as a youth development league in North America. This will be a game changer for our program. For our organization it’s all about moving our players on to the next level whatever that level may be,鈥 said Wenatchee GM Bliss Littler.
Located in Wenatchee, Washington, the Wild will compete in the CSSHL Western Division at both the U17 Prep and U18 Prep levels. The program has currently been playing in these divisions as a guest program at CSSHL showcase events during the 2022/23 season.
鈥淭he CSSHL is excited to add a program like Wenatchee to our western division as we continue to expand and grow our league across North America,鈥 said CSSHL Chairperson Andy Oakes. 鈥淎s a guest member at some of our CSSHL showcases this season, we have seen how Wenatchee operates and we look forward to them participating in a full league schedule in 2023/24.鈥
鈥淚 would like to thank the CSSHL Executive committee and all of the member teams for allowing us to become a member of the CSSHL. Our program in Wenatchee is looking forward to playing full time in the 2023-2024 season.听 The CSSHL gives us the best opportunity for our student athletes to realize their educational and hockey dreams and we are ecstatic to become the newest member of the CSSHL,鈥 added Wenatchee Hockey Director Troy Mick.
