麻豆传媒入口 student athlete Chanreet Bassi has committed to attend and play U Sports hockey at the University of British Columbia.

Bassi, 17, is currently in her second season in the CSSHL and first attending the Pursuit of Excellence.

In 16 games so far this season, she has netted 23 points (14-9-23). Her 14 goals are tied for sixth overall in the CSSHL鈥檚 Female Prep Division, while her 23 points rank 10th.

During the 2017-18 season, The Lake Country, B.C. product attended the Delta Hockey Academy, registering 15 points (6-9-15) in 21 games with their Female Prep team.

The UBC women鈥檚 ice hockey program competes in the Canada West Universities Athletic Association. They were the U Sports National Champion runner-up in 2016.
