麻豆传媒入口 graduate Matthew Davis has committed to attend and play NCAA hockey at the University of Denver.

Davis, 17, attended the Edge School during the 2017-18 season, posting a record of 11-6-0, with a 2.31 goals-against average, .918 save-percentage and three shutouts.

During the 2018 BDO CSSHL Championships, the Calgary, Alta. product went 2-1-0 with a 3.67 goals-against average and .908 save-percentage.

Davis is currently in his rookie season with the Spruce Grove Saints. He has appeared in 22 games and ranks seventh in the AJHL in wins (16), third in goals-against average (1.95), seventh in save-percentage (.917) and second in shutouts (2).

The University of Denver鈥檚 men鈥檚 ice hockey program competes in the NCAA Division I National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC). They have won seven NCAA National Championships, the latest in 2017.
