Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (2) vs Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (1) U17
Eliott Horner (30/31) and Morgan Hyndman (41/43) kept clean sheets in the first as Pacific Coast outshot CDA 18-5, but headed to the intermission tied 0-0. Blake Sandersn opened the scoring 5:03 into the second with a power play marker, his eighth goal of the season. Collin Lee extended the advantage 7:00 into the third with his 14th on the year. Evan Davis would get CDA on the board and within one with a power play goal with 2:58 left. But Horner would shut the door the rest of the way to secure the Pacific Coast win.听
BWC Academy (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy (1) U17 Prep
A 36 save performance by Josh Wu (36/37) stole the show as BWC Academy upset Delta Hockey Academy 2-1. Kishan Saggu opened the scoring for Delta on the power play 11:46 into the game. Declan Iacoviello (2G) would even the score with 3:03 left in the second, scoring his 11th of the season. Iacoviello would give BWC Academy a game winner midway through the third period with a power play goal, beating Blake Clark (17/19) with 10:27 remaining.听
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (8) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (6) U15 Prep
Kyler Stocks (2G, 1A) opened the scoring 2:21 in with a power play goal for RHA Kelowna but Talon Scinocca (3G, 2A) tied the game 1:01 later and gave OHA a 2-1 lead m midway through the period. Kaius Millan (1G, 1A) countered for RHA Kelowna 1:42 later and Carter Bell restored their lead late in the period. Shea Mooney and Gage Mark (1G, 3A) scored inside the opening five minutes to put OHA back ahead as the two teams continued to trade blows. Stocks and Channon Fummerton (1G, 2A) put RHA Kelowna back in front midway through the frame, though Scinocca completed the hat-trick just 33 seconds later to send the two teams into the intermission tied at 5-5. Brysten Campbell鈥檚 third of the season put OHA ahead 1:39 into the third period before Cole Morley replied with his own third goal of the year. Otis Jacques (1G, 1A) scored the eventual game winner for RHA Kelowna 5:04 later and Mason Szatmari鈥檚 power play goal with 4:32 left secured the win in a high scoring, back-and-forth affair.听
Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (1) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (11) Female U18 Prep
Jillian McLaughlin (4G) and Kennedy Sisson (3G) combined for seven goals as RHA Kelowna beat OHA Black 11-1. Alida Korte (4A) and Anezka Cabelova (3A) chipped in with four and three assists and defensemen Raeya Mackie (1G, 2A) had a three point game. Hayden Wild scored the lone goal for OHA Black in the loss.听
St. George鈥檚 School (5) vs BWC Academy (6) U15
Ethan Kartadinata (3G) gave BWC Academy a 1-0 lead just 56 seconds into the game. The St. George鈥檚 power play would start to click as Nick Hill would even the score midway through the first period and Liam McLean (3G, 1A) gave St. George鈥檚 a 2-1 lead 46 seconds into the second. Eric Prexler (2G) replied for BWC Academy with a power play goal of his own to bring the teams to level ground but McLean countered 24 seconds later and Hudson Lesk (1G, 2A) doubled the St. George鈥檚 lead 57 seconds after that. Kartadinata and Prexler each scored their second of the game 45 seconds apart, midway through the second to tie the game heading into the third. In the third Kartadinata completed the hat-trick and put BWC Academy ahead 8:46 into the period. McLean would match Kartadinata, completing a hat-trick of his own 1:13 later to even the score. BWC Academy would pull ahead for good when Nathan DaSilva (1G, 3A) scored his 17th of the season with 7:59 left in the period.听
Kuper Academy (8) vs Selwyn House School (7) East U17
A high scoring affair saw the two teams combine for seven goals in the first and seven goals in the second, before slowing down with just one in the third. Michael Paliotti (1G, 2A) ignited the action with a power play goal 2:24 into the first. Kuper would lead 4-3 after 20, getting goals from Paliotti, Malkin Pierre (2G, 1A), Kareem Baig-Mirza (2G, 2A) and Matteo Sollazzo (1G, 1A), while Luca Macri (1G, 1A), Isaac Huberman and Jackson Pitfield (1G, 1A) counted for Selwyn. Gianluca Velenosi tied the game 42 seconds into the second and Yulen Billy (2G, 3A) put Selwyn ahead 1:30 later with his 10th of the season. Amir Makdad (1G, 1A) replied for Kuper 51 seconds later before Billy and Pierre traded goals 44 seconds apart. Pasquale Presti put Selwyn back ahead 1:50 after that but Baig-Mirza tied the game late in the period with a shorthanded marker. The action died down in the third and the game looked like it was headed to overtime until Tristan Lavigne (1G, 2A) beat Luca Ottoni (34/42) on the power play with 2:02 left to give Kuper the deciding goal.听
Edge School (5) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (2) U17 Prep
Carsten Leyerzapf (36/28) and Ethan Mann (47/51) combined to stop 35 shots in the first period, with Zachery Hall scoring the lone goal to give CIHA a 1-0 lead. Ashton McCann (2G) scored twice, 10 minutes apart, in the second to give Edge a 2-1 advantage heading into the third period. Logan Penston tied the game on the power play 4:07 into the third but it was all Edge from there. Edge affiliate players Dylan Sherban and Luke Huska scored back-to-back goals to give Edge a 4-2 lead and James Matheos added a late empty netter to secure the victory.听
Okanagan Hockey Ontario (4) vs King Height鈥檚 Academy (3) East U18
OHO held a 2-0 lead after 20 as Philippe Walsh (2G) scored his seventh and Logan Brown added his fourth midway through the frame. In the second, Vytas Lenkutis (3G) took over for KHA, recording a natural hat-trick in a span of 7:42 to give his team a 3-2 lead late in the period. But Walsh countered for OHO 22 seconds later and Parker Fergusson scored the eventual game winner 1:04 after that as OHO grabbed a 4-3 lead with 42 seconds left in the period. Drew Osinga (43/46) stopped all 10 shots in the third to secure the win for Okanagan Hockey Ontario. Cole Minthorn (37/41) faced 41 shots in the loss.听
Selwyn House School (2) vs Lower Canada College (6) East U17
Julian Harroch (1G, 1A) scored 44 seconds to give Selwyn House an early 1-0 lead. After giving up a goal in the first minute, Mario Lapenna tied the game in the final minute of the first with a power play marker. Matthew D鈥橴rso (1G, 1A) gave Lower Canada a 2-1 lead just 1:08 into the second with a power play marker and Giancarlo Iannuzzi (2G) doubled the lead with a shorthanded marker as special teams played a key role early. Lukas Royko (2G, 1A) scored back-to-back even strength goals to end the second and start the third. Iannuzzi scored his second shorthanded marker midway through the third as LCC took a commanding 6-1 lead. Pasquale Presti (1G, 1A) would score a late consolation goal for Selwyn House in the loss. Eftstratios Couvas (33/35) and Evan Un Yi (39/45) were in net for their respective teams Thursday afternoon.
CIH Academy (3/SO) vs Ulysse Academie (2) East U17
Loik Lesperance scored just 28 seconds into the game, Lucas Verite scored shorthanded in the second and Arnaud Paradis (32/34) stopped all 20 shots he faced in the first 40 minutes of play as Ulysse led 2-0 heading into the third. Noah Panetta gave CIHA the spark they were looking for 2:18 into the third as he scored his fourth of the season. Kenshin Saito tied the game midway through the period with his third of the year. The two teams played a scoreless final 10 minutes and 5 minutes of overtime, forcing a deciding shootout. Tristyn Bowden and Gordie Hester both scored and Alex Beaupre (32/34) stopped both Ulysse shooters as CIH Academy completed the comeback for a 3-2 win.听
North Shore Warriors (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy White (4) U15
Delta White led 2-0 after 20 as Hayden Zygarliski and Zhehan Zhao scored in the second half of the period. North Shore would even the score in the second as Nicholas Sheldon scored an even strength marker and Oliver Demarco scored on the power play with one second left in the frame. Zygarliski put Delta White ahead with his 10th of the year, while shorthanded, 1:37 into the final period. Jayden Ni would add an insurance marker with 23 seconds left and Cohen Wood (26/28) made 26 saves to secure the Delta White win. Benjamin Boudreau (26/30) made 26 saves in the loss.
