Prairie Hockey Academy (0) vs Edge School (9) U15
Edge School outshot Prairie 73-7 en route to a 9-0 win Monday. Easton Armstrong (1G, 2A) and James Butterwich (2G, 1A) led all skates with three points each while Caden Stanley (7/7) needed to make just seven saves for his third shutout and 17th win of the season. In their final game of the season, Brody Antignani recorded his 50th goal of the year, but fell one point shy of the 100 mark on the season. Conner Aldag (64/73) was in net for Prairie in the loss.听
Prairie Hockey Academy (4) vs Edge School (3) U18 Prep
Joaquin Geras opened the scoring 3:27 in but Chase Kunn was quick to respond for Prairie, doing so 1:08 later. Griffin Horne made it two straight for the visitors, scoring midway through the period while on the power play. Grant Gliege doubled the lead late in the second as he beat Leif Oaten (26/30) for his ninth goal of the season. Carter Wingert scored early in the third as Prairie rattled off four straight after giving up the first goal of the game. However, Edge wouldn鈥檛 go away quietly as Mirco Dufour scored 2:26 later and Brock England (1G, 1) added a late shorthanded marker to pull his team within one. Ultimately the comeback would fall short as Cameron Beisal (36/39) finished with 36 saves to secure the 4-3 Prairie victory.听
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (0) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (10) U18 Prep
RHA Winnipeg scored six even strength, three power play, and one shorthanded goal as they beat Pilot Mound 10-0. River Arnason (3G, 3A), Carter Haney (1G, 4A) and Jake Ritson (2G, 3A) combined for 16 points in the win. Quinn Burfoot (18/18) made 18 saves for his first shutout of the season. Aiden Trapp (34/44) faced 44 shots in the loss.听
Calgary International Hockey Academy (4) vs OHA Edmonton (5) U17 Prep
Aeden McCarry鈥檚 (3G) 23rd of the season 6:10 in gave CIHA an early 1-0 lead. Cash Brebant (1G, 1A) tied the game 1:20 later and affiliate defenseman Chayse Fedoriuk put OHA Edmonton ahead 1:14 after that. McCarry tied the game less than three minutes later with a power play marker but Miles Hartmann put OHA Edmonton back ahead 1:22 later. Kai Richards (1G, 2A) and Keenan Fox (1G, 2A) both scored second period goals as OHA Edmonton grabbed a 5-2 lead heading into the third. CIHA would mount a comeback attempt as Zane Rains scored 2:01 into the third and McCarry recorded a hat-trick late to pull his team within one. But Aidan Prosser (39/43) ultimately made 39 saves to secure the OHA Edmonton victory.听
Indigenous Sports Academy (0) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U17 Prep
Jessy Cormier (23/23) made 23 saves for his first shutout of the season as Notre Dame beat ISA 2-0. Henry Holt scored the game winner 13:30 into the first while Notre Dame was on the man advantage. Cormier and Jacob Appleby (41/43) kept clean sheets in the second as it remained a one goal game heading into the third. Sebastian Eshelbrenner would give Notre Dame some breathing room 4:59 into the final frame as his team limited ISA to just 3 shots in the last 20 minutes of play.听
Edge School (2) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (3) U17 Prep
Mason Moran (3G) scored just 44 seconds in and again with 2:37 left in the period as CIHA held a 2-0 lead. This 2-0 lead would hold until the start of the third as Braxton Gibson (40/42) and Adam Courchesne (28/31) kept clean sheets in the second. James Matheos would get Edge on the board and within one 34 seconds into the final frame. Finn Howes tied the game midway through the period with his 12th of the season but Moran would complete the hat-trick less than two minutes later, scoring all three CIHA goals in a 3-2 win.听
CIH Academy (1) vs Bishop鈥檚 College School (10) East U17
Noah Panetta opened the scoring for CIH Academy 5:57 in but it was all Bishop鈥檚 College from there as they scored 10 unanswered, firing 72 shots at Sebastien Bourgeau (68/78). Jayden Dyke (2G, 2A), Brandon Fuicelli (2G) and Jan Vladar (2G, 2A) all scored twice while Grady Cohen (1G, 2A)Nate Ostridge (1G, 2A) and Gavin Rusenstrom (3A) had three point games. Tyler Fuicelli (11/12) made 11 saves to pick up the win in net for Bishop鈥檚.
Fort Erie International Academy (5/SO) vs King Heights Academy (4) East U18
KHA came firing out of the gate as Chase Thompson and Zakhar Puzriakov each found the back of the net in the opening 6:17. Brett Krtanjek hit double digit goals on the season just a few minutes later to get Fort Erie on the board. King Heights would control the second as Semen Nizhnikov (2G, 1A) scored twice to give his team a 4-1 lead heading into the third. The third was a total 180 of the second as Matys Lefebvre (1G, 1A), Mateo Moro and Riley Cave rattled off three straight for Fort Erie to tie the game and sent it to an eventual shootout. In the shootout. Timothee Fengos (58/62) stopped all three KHA shooters and Krtanjek beat Jackson Taraborrelli (62/66) low blocker as Fort Erie completed the comeback and grabbed a 5-4 win.听
Stanstead College (5) vs Ulysse Academie (0) East U18
Stanstead netminder Jack Carter (28/28) made 28 saves to earn his first career CSSHL shutout in a 5-0 win over Ulysse. Oliver Plante and Kamyl Chemrouk (1G, 1A) scored first period goals as Stanstead led 2-0. Ryan Dwyer, Brody Molloy and Petr Polacek added goals in the second to round out the scoring. Cater and Leonidas Barkoulas (28/33) kept clean sheets in the third period.听
North Shore Warriors (3) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black (4/SO) U15
An even first 20 would end with North Shore ahead 1-0 as Keegan Hole scored his 15th of the year with 1:58 left in the frame. Delta Black would get goals from Bentley Gillis and Samuel Hioe in the second to take the lead heading into the final 20. Kevin Goodale doubled the lead 3:07 into the third as Delta Black looked to pull away. However, Brody Watson would give North Shore life with a power play marker midway through the period and Tony Jr Han tied the game with just 22 seconds left. After five minutes of overtime solved nothing, Brayden Allan (30/33) stopped both North Shore shooters and Silas Colina and Cas Field both scored for Delta Black to give their team a 4-3 shootout win.听
Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (2) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (4) U18 Prep
Brady Walker and Sokratis Markarian traded first period goals as the two teams entered the intermission all even at 1-1. Kiran Fedun (1G, 1A) gave RHA Kelowna an early second period lead with a shorthanded marker. Caden Stoltz was quick to respond for CDA but defenseman Ruben Stone (1G, 1A) scored his first of the season 2:05 later to put RHA Kelowna ahead. Dominik Silbernagel would add an early third period marker to double the lead and Louis Gu (24/26) finished with 24 saves as RHA Kelowna earned the 4-2 win. Bennett Byers (42/46) made 42 saves in net for CDA in the loss.听
Bourget College (3) vs Lower Canada College (10) East U17
With a five point outing Lower Canada College forward Lukas Royko (4G, 1A) passed Marc-Antoine Riopel for the most points in a single East U17 season with 58. Royko already set the CSSHL East U17 single season goal record but the 4 goal outburst gave him 33 on the season, 5 more than anyone else in league history. Outside of Royko鈥檚 individual performance, LCC put up 10 goals in the win over Bourget with Mario Lapenna (4A) and Tristan Mancini-Kozel (1G, 3A) each having four point games. Efstratios Couvas (21/24) made 21 saves for the win.听
Notre Dame Hounds (1) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (3) U15
Prairie opened the score 3:19 in as Kayne Anderson scored his third goal of the season. Bode Strong tied the game midway through the period as he matched Anderson with his third of the year. Prairie would regain the lead late in the second as Deklan Street (2G, 1A) found the back of the net with 2:41 left. Street doubled the lead late in the third with his second goal of the game with 5:31 remaining and Patrick Curtis (22/23) made 16 saves through the final 40 minutes as Prairie earned a 3-1 win. Noah Delaurier (3A) assisted on all three Prairie goals in the win.听
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (6) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (2) U15 Prep
With two teams from Manitoba battling for the final playoff spot, both teams fired 15 shots on net in the first with Pilot Mound scoring twice as Kai Dingwall and Maddox Ramage found the back of the net. Athens Shingoose (2G, 1A) tied the game with 2 goals 3:14 apart in the second, including a shorthanded marker to get RHA Winnipeg on the board. RHA Winnipeg would build off their second period performance in the third as Grayson Spiers and Marko Malbasa (1G, 1A) scored once and Brady Filmon (2G, 2A) twice to give their team six unanswered goals. DJ Mecas (39/41) made 39 saves in the win while Yuki Kido (50/56) faced 56 shots in the loss.听
Indigenous Sports Academy (3) vs Notre Dame Hounds (2) U18 Prep
Notre Dame outshot ISA 14-7 in the first and had a 2-0 lead to show for thanks to goals from Brendan Hurley and Brendan Choi. The second period was a reversal of the first as Hector Lang and Mason Sauvie scored for ISA to tie the game heading into the final frame. In the third Jaden Prairie Chicken would score his sixth of the season midway through the period to put ISA ahead for the first time. Despite being outshot 21-12 in the final period, ISA would hold on for a 3-2 comeback win thanks to Kael Ratt (43/45) keeping a clean sheet through the final 40 minutes.听
Okanagan Hockey Ontario vs Ontario Hockey Academy East U18
Nathanel Coon-Come opened the scoring 7:20 in with his sixth goal of the season for OHA. Sebastian Erkenbolling doubled the lead 3:05 into the second as he beat Drew Osinga (52/54) for his 10th goal of the year. From there OHO would take over, scoring six unanswered to grab the 6-2 victory. Phillipe Walsh (1G, 1A) hit double digit goals 3:30 after Erkenbolling scored to get OHO on the board. Alex Brown (2G) would score back-to-back goals, including the game winner on the power play to close out the second. Logan Brown and Anthony Macaluso (1G, 1A) scored inside the opening five minutes of the third to increase the OHO lead to 5-2. Jacob Zilber added a late empty netter to round out the scoring.听
OHA Edmonton (3) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (9) U15
In each team’s final game of the regular season it was CIHA who came out on top by a score of 9-3. Defenseman Carson Hohman (2G, 2A) and forward Jaret Otto (2G, 1A) each tallied two goals while Jase Morey (4A), Loic Lebel (3A) and defenseman Bennett Pattison (3A) took on the playmaker role to lead CIHA in the win. Ian Kim, Peyten Shilton (1G, 1A) and Jaxson Weisgerber beat Taylor Green (28/31) for OHA Edmonton鈥檚 three goals.听
Kuper Academy (6) vs Ulysse Academie (3) East U17
Amir Makdad (1G, 1A) scored 1:23 in and Michael Paliotti (2G) added a late first period marker as Kuper Academy led 2-0 after 20. Thomas Daoust got Ulysse on the board early in the second with a power play marker. Kiper would quickly respond with three goals in five minutes as Malkin Pierre, Dmitri Tsimberis and Tristan Lavigne all found the back of the net. William Cleroux-Belanger would get one back for Ulysse, scoring with 3:04 left in the second. In the final period, Paliotti and Mathis Gingras (1G, 1A) traded goals to round out the scoring in a 6-3 Kuper win. James Barker (44/47) and Francis Paradis (46/52) were in net for their respective teams.听
Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (1) vs BWC Academy (6) U17
After a scoreless first period the BWC Academy offence exploded for five goals in the second period. Carter Langton (1G, 1A), Josiah Lacerte and Lucas McMillan each scored once while Jaiydan Bhandari (2G) scored twice in less than two minutes to close out the period. Leonardo Lee (1G, 1A) kept the run going with his ninth of the season 2:08 into the third period. Knox Vogel would break the Liam Kellett (24/25) shutout bid with 1:35 left on the clock.听
Coeur d鈥橝lene Hockey Academy (0) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (10) U18 Prep
Benjamin Bowtell (3G, 1A) recorded a hat-trick while Kiran Fedun (1G, 3A) and Brady Walker (1G, 3A) had four points of their own to lead RHA Kelowna to a 10-0 win. Conner Nicolson (30/30) made 30 saves for his fourth shutout of the season. Forwards Dylan Cawley (1G, 2A) and Ryan Sadovia (1G, 2A) along with defensemen Hudson Roberge (1G, 2A) and Ruben Stone (3A) all had three points in the win. Colton Lee (43/53) faced 53 shots in net for CDA.听
Delta Hockey Academy (4) vs North Shore Warriors (2) U17 Prep
Matthew Wong (29/31) and Ethan Suhr (34/38) kept the game scoreless through the first 30 minutes of play before Jack Morgan (2G) gave Delta the opening goal midway through the second period. Lucas Lekakis would reply for North Shore exactly two minutes later as the teams remained level heading into the final frame. Rylan Franklin and Treyce Pavlic scored inside the opening 10 minutes of the period and Morgan added a power play marker as Delta grabbed a 4-1 lead. Jaden Brackett would reply for North Shore just 28 seconds later but that was as close as they would get as Delta doubled them up by a score of 4-2.听
Balmoral Hall School (3) vs St. Mary鈥檚 Academy (4) Female U18 Prep
After a scoreless first period Makenna Williment opened the scoring for Balmoral 5:01 into the second period. St. Mary鈥檚 would reply with three straight goals in a span of 6:06 as Emilie Bonin, Payton Henwood and Camryn Falloon (1G, 1A) all found the back of the net in the second. Shayna Bannister and Lydia Hall scored 1:07 apart early in the third period to bring Balmoral even with 13:25 left to play. The game seemed destined for overtime until Kaitlyn Harvey鈥檚 fourth goal of the season with 1:25 remaining gave St. Mary鈥檚 the 4-3 win. Sasha Coutu (25/28) and Mimi Ferreira (33/37) were in net for their respective teams.
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (5) vs Shawnigan Lake School (2) U15 Prep
For the third CSSHL game in a row Thursday the first period was scoreless as Rio Manhas (36/38) and Donagh Esler-Twiss (36/41) kept the game tied 0-0. Cameron Young Thompson (2G) broke the deadlock just 43 seconds into the second with his 15th goal of the season for Pacific Coast. Darwin Ketch (1G, 1A) tied the game seven minutes later but Maximus Scheffer restored the PCHA lead 1:32 after that. Up by one, Pacific Coast got goals from Nate Ellemo and Trent Porter 1:12 apart early in the third to increase their advantage. Carson Peet(1G, 1A) halted the run with a power play goal for Shawnigan but Young-Thompson secured the victory, scoring for Pacific Coast with one second left.
