Fort Erie International Academy (4) vs Ontario Hockey Academy (1) East U17
In the second leg of a double header, FEIA would once again nab the first goal thanks to the efforts of Jayden Goolab for his first of the season. In the second, FEIA would continue their tear, scoring twice in 16-seconds off the sticks of Samuel Schelling (1G, 1A) and Charles Vouligny. Marton Loschnig would put OHA on the board with a powerplay marker in the third but any chance at a comeback was quickly extinguished by Christophe Gagne. Felix-Antoine Tessier (36/37) played a massive part in FEIA’s win, racking up 36-saves across sixty minutes of play.
South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) U17 Prep
Kai Ducharme and Lukas Needham (1G, 1A) would each score snipes to keep this game knotted up at one through twenty. Come the second, each team would once again split the scoring, making way for a third period all tied up a 2-2. PCHA would get the early jump in the final frame as Treytin Frizzell (2G) scored a pair of goals, but a late push from SAHA spearheaded by a shorthanded goal from Matthew Cameron-Skidmore. Brennan Finke would polish off a 2-on-0 with Paxton Cabana to tie things up at four, while a final minute wrister from the point courtesy of Sully Kufflick (1G, 1A) gave SAHA the lead and eventual victory. In goal, Hunter Zawislak (31/35) picked up the win, stopping 31-shots from PCHA.Ìý
Notre Dame (4) vs Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (6) U17 Prep
McHall, ID forward Sal Costa (3G) got CDA off to a dream start scoring twice to give his team the lead through one. Artem Gunko would bury a wraparound in the second to further extend CDA’s lead before Michael Camponi got Notre Dame on the board. Costa would later bury his hat-trick to restore the three goal lead but another goal from Camponi put the Hounds within striking distance to start the third. However, Matthew Latscha (1G, 1A) would deflect one through to keep CDA one step ahead of Notre Dame. The Hounds would score an extra two to close out the frame but a five-hole blast right off the faceoff from Akira Ota kept CDA in the driver seat till the buzzer sounded.
Indigenous Sports Academy (6) vs Wenatchee Wild Hockey Academy (7/OT) U17 Prep
An early pair from Ryder Brastad (1G, 1A) and Cooper Miller (1G, 1A) gave Wenatchee the early lead. However, ISA would claw back with two of their own to close the frame. Tyler Stefani (1G, 2A) would score the game changer in the first to keep Wenatchee in front through twenty. Aidan Yu (3G) sparked the scoring in the second for the Wild, doubling their lead, but a pair of goals from Ason Apesis (2G, 1A) gave ISA a running chance in the third with the score all knotted up at 4-4. Easton Bauer would put ISA ahead early in the final frame before Kaythin Mirasty (1G, 1A) wired one home from the top of the slot to give them a two goal lead with less than three minutes to go. However, Wenatchee wouldn’t give up. Yu would score his second with 2:05 left on the clock. 41-seconds later, Camden Masterton (1G, 1G) would deflect one home to tie things up and force extra time. In OT, it only took 48-seconds for Yu to drive down the right hand side before cutting to the middle and sliding one through Holden Fauchon (39/46) to clinch the comeback victory and his hat-trick marker.
St. Mary’s Academy (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy Black (3) Female U18 Prep
Following a scoreless first, Mira Morgan would get Delta Black on the scoresheet, placing one top right from the left circle for her first of the campaign. Come the third, Haley Waugh would net a jam play in close to double Delta Black’s lead. Peyton Mages would get St. Mary’s back to within one after her shot trickled through the wickets of Sonja Reed (28/29). To stay in control, Abigail Jung would score down low to restore Delta Black’s two goal advantage. Waugh’s goal would stand as the game winner as Reed made 10-stops in the final frame to fend off St. Mary’s and take the victory.
Ulysse Academie (1) vs Lower Canada College (7) East U17
A late three goal explosion in the first from LCC gave them a three goal lead over UA through twenty. Defenceman Josh Simsovic (2G, 1A) played a part on all three first period goals for LCC. LCC would continue their dominance in the second, netting another two to their growing lead. Come the third, LCC would go on to net yet another two while Ismael Legault would net the lone goal for Ulysse. Efstratios Couvas (35/36) would only be beaten that one time, but still mustered out an impressive 35-save performance in the lopsided win for LCC.
Prairie Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) U17
Scored only 1:26 apart, Alijah Lodhar and Kashton Smith (1G, 1A) would establish an early two goal lead for PHA. Murphy Johnston would later polish off a feed from Cole Ewonchuk to give RHA Winnipeg an opportunity going forward. Casey Mitschke would eventually tie things up in the second for RHA Winnipeg. However, a powerplay goal from the birthday boy Jake Myhre (1G, 1A) would restore Prairie’s lead heading into the third. Prairie wouldn’t let up the pressure in the third as Brady Davison netted another powerplay marker to double their lead. Davidson’s goal would go on to be the insurance marker in a 4-2 victory. Colton Lutz (33/35) picked up the win in between the pipes, stuffing 33-shots from RHA Winnipeg.
St. Mary’s High School (0) vs Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (6) Female U18 Prep
Pilot Mound found their offensive rhythm up against St. Mary’s High School on Saturday. Logan Sullivan (1G, 1A) got things started off with a first period goal but everything started to come together in the second where the Buffaloes would net another three unanswered. Ashlyn Kuffler (1G, 2A) and Jayden Quinn (1G, 2A) would each snag three points in Pilot Mound’s win while Sutter Reeves (20/20) made 20-stops for her first career CSSHL shutout.
BWC Academy (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy (2) U18 Prep
Victoria Royals prospect Cruz Waltze was able to ignite the scoring for Delta, wiring home a rebound. The scoring would take a pause in the second despite the onslaught of shots coming forth on to Delta goalkeeper Greyson Moroz (59/60) who was a perfect 31/31 through forty. Nicholas Campbell would extend Delta’s lead in the third by burying home a feed from Alexander Laing in close. BWC Academy kept pouring on the shots, outshooting Delta 29-5 in the final frame, finally getting one past Moroz thanks to a snipe from Keagen Lundie. Moroz would stand tall through the final minutes, racking up an immense 59-saves when this contest was all said and done, clinching Delta their fifth win of the regular season.
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (6) vs BWC Academy (4) U17 Prep
This Saturday matchup was a story of quick responses. After Oleksii Zhekov (2G) opened the scoring for BWC Academy. Just under a minute later, Knox Burton (1G, 1A) would respond with a pop and release shot off the rush. However, on the next faceoff Nic Collins would wire home the go ahead goal… a mere three seconds later. The second would see more back and forth action with RHA Winnipeg taking the advantage after Isaac Sousa (4G) put one home late. Sousa would carry on where he left off, scoring 45-seconds into the third to extend RHA Winnipeg’s lead. Only 12-seconds later, Declain Iacoviello (1G, 1A) would score on a breakaway, keeping the quick responses coming and BWC Academy in this contest. Later in the frame, Brady Keith would rip home the game winner after Spencer Kuntz (3A) struck iron. Sousa would net his fourth of the afternoon on an empty netter, sealing this one up for RHA Winnipeg.
OHA Edmonton (0) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (3) Female U18 Prep
Okanagan kept the shutouts coming as Jorja Moore (13/13) locked down OHA Edmonton for her third shutout of the season. Between her and Maive Gosselin-Berg, OHA has amounted six shutouts on the season. Offensively, Jada Wood would intercept the puck in OHA Edmonton’s end before firing one shortside to take the lead. Later in the frame, Audrina Freeman would break past two defenders before sliding home a backhander for the eventual insurance marker. Tiani Makokis would take advantage of a 5-on-3 powerplay in the third, placing one top left to secure the OHA victory.
Selwyn House School (8) vs CIH Academy (3) East U17
Led by a four goal effort from Gianluca Velenosi (4G). Selwyn House comfortably rolled to an 8-3 victory over CIH Academy. CIH would make it as close as 2-1 after Oliver Matthewman (1G, 1A) nabbed one in the second, but Selwyn House would explode for six in the third. Tommy Nicolopoulos (3A) would also garner three helpers in the win.
Northern Alberta Xtreme (0) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy Black (2) Female U18 Prep
In this low scoring affair, NAX would take the edge in shots through twenty, 12-4. However, a costly turnover in their own end would mean the final of this game as Alice Rapp buried home the eventual game winner in the final minute of the first period. Teagan Janzen (42/42) would post a perfect 42-save shutout to help OHA Black squeeze out the victory over their northern rivals. Taylor Simpson scored the empty netter to seal the victory.
STAR Hockey Academy (4/OT) vs St. George’s School (3) U17 Prep
St. George’s was finding success early after capitalising on two consecutive powerplays. Daniel Taylor wired home the first while Aaron Castro (2G) batted in the second. Adrian Afrakov would respond shortly after the Saint’s second goal, cutting their deficit to one but Castro would restore their two goal advantage before the end of the frame. STAR would find their touch in the second, as Fox Brunner and Max Carpenter found twine to tie things up before the start of the third. After a scoreless third, overtime was necessary, and in the early stages Ewen Willers would spring himself on a breakaway, beating Les Toth (35/39) fivehole to secure the comeback victory. Daniel Peebles (35/38) racked up 35-saves in the win for STAR.ÌýÌý
South Alberta Hockey Academy (4) vs RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (2) U18 Prep
Kingston Chisholm (2G) sparked the scoring three minutes into the first to establish an early lead for SAHA. Come the second, Ty Krooshoop (2A) would work some magic along the blueline before feeding Avery Watson (2G) for a booming wrist shot to extend SAHA’s lead. Trystan Hunter would claw one back for RHA Winnipeg soon after, but Chisholm would strike once again for SAHA, restoring the two goal advantage. Watson would drill home another powerplay marker for SAHA in the third for the eventual insurance marker as Ben Dnes put home a loose puck with ten seconds left for RHA Winnipeg. Mattias Radke (33/35) walked away with the W, making 33-stops in the SAHA win.
Yale Hockey Academy (6/OT) vs STAR Hockey Academy (5) U15 Prep
Yale surrendered the game’s opening marker just 33-seconds in after a seeing eye shot from Nathan Langhelm (1G, 1A) found twine from the left hand boards. Tanner Massey would bring this game back to even terms later in the frame. Before the end of the period, Adam Neilson and Tony Cabelka (1G, 2A) would trade goals back and forth to keep things knotted up between the two teams entering the second. STAR captain Levi Ellingsen would wire home his 12th of the year to put STAR back in front, but a late shorthanded tally from Parker McMillan (2G, 1A) would once again keep this game tied. STAR would get the early advantage in the third after Ronin Brunner ripped home a powerplay goal. Dominic Ponte would tie things up yet again later in the frame but Daniel Makovetskiy (1G, 1A) once again restored STAR’s lead. In the final stages of the third, Michael Kuzik (1G, 4A) would wire home another game tying goal, enough to force overtime. In the extra frame, McMillan and Kuzik would break in on a 2-on-1, eventually leading to McMillan whacking home the game winner in close quarters to finalise this back and forth affair for Yale.
Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (5) vs Delta Hockey Academy (4) U17
Despite being outshot, CDA made the most of their chances when they came around in the opening two frames. Knox Vogel (2G) gifted CDA their first part way through the first period while Jay Nooney (1G, 1A) and Wyatt Brooks (1G, 1A) snatched them their second and third tallies. Delta would string together a pair part way through the second but a last second trickler from Mitch Wells kept CDA ahead. Into the third, Ewan Torrance (2G) would polish off a slick feed from Kaydin Halladay to cut the deficit to one. Shortly after on another powerplay, Delta’s keen passing would strike again with Lincoln Arkinstall being the benefactor. All tied up with a few minutes left on the clock, Vogel would waltz in before firing one far side to put CDA back in front. CDA would hold on to this one goal lead, upsetting Delta after being outshot 65-18. Morgan Hyndman (61/65) racked up 61-saves in the win for an unforgettable performance.
OHA Edmonton (4) vs Calgary International Hockey Academy (3) U18 Prep
Wyatt Yakimchuk got OHA Edmonton on the board early, scoring the lone goal of the first period. Calum Giese (2G, 1A) would extend OHA Edmonton’s lead early in the second. However, CIHA would come out swinging after Aden Bouchard (1G, 1A) captured his first goal of the season. Townes Kozicky and Calder Hutt nabbed back-to-back powerplay goals for CIHA to give them the lead heading into the third. Early in the final frame, Giese would rip one shortside from the red line to tie things back up at 3-3. A couple minutes later, Parker Fitzgerald would fire one quickly off the draw, putting OHA Edmonton back into the lead which they would hold on to till the final buzzer sounded.Ìý
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (5) vs Shawnigan Lake School (2) U17 Prep
A Shawnigan four-minute penalty 18 seconds in allowed Collin Friedrich to open the scoring 8 seconds later with a power play goal. Jack Perrier (2G, 1A) would put the Pilot Mound power play at 2-for-2 just 1:15 in with his 11th of the season. Brody Wytinck (1G, 3A_ scored an even strength marker later in the period as PMHA held a 3-0 advantage going into the second. The Pilot Mound power play remained hot in the second as Adam Zamecnik scored his sixth of the season. Shawnigan would get on the board 49 seconds later when Samuel Wilson tallied his fourth of the season. The Pilot Mound penalty kill would keep their special teams rolling as Perrier scored shorthanded midway through the third. Spencer Currie (1G, 1A) would counter on the same power play just 30 seconds later but that was as close as Shawnigan would get as they suffered a 5-2 loss. Barrett Hayes (18/20) was in net for his fifth win of the season.Ìý
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (4) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5) U18 Prep
Pacific Coast struck first 1:46 in as Parson Shahi (2G, 1A) scored his sixth goal of the season. Kyounghun Oh (1G, 2A) tied the game midway through the period as he scored his first goal of the season. An Evan Cook power play goal 7:38 into the second gave Yale their first lead but it was short lived as Jed Lake countered with a power play goal of his own less than four minutes later. Shahi put PCHA ahead with a power play goal early in the third but Jayden Oleskiw tied the game 1:49 later and Eli Barrett (1G, 1A) added a power play marker 38 seconds after that as Yale grabbed the lead. Ollie Reid scored the eventual game winner for Yale less than two minutes later as they quickly turned a one goal deficit into a two goal lead. Pacific Coast would make a late comeback push with Ben Wetterberg (1G, 1A) scoring on the power play with 17 seconds left, but they would ultimately run out of time. Parker Kulmatycki (32/36) made 32 saves for the win while Sam Saskiw (42/47) faced 47 shots in the loss.Ìý
Balmoral Hall School (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy Green (8) Female U18 Prep
Jayda Becker scored a power play marker and Emma Kohl added her third of the season as Delta Green grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first. Shayna Bannister (1G, 1A) got Balmoral on the board 1:50 into the second with a power play tally but Delta Green responded with five straight goals to close out the period. Molly Cole (2G) and Payton Finnie (1G, 1A) scored 28 seconds apart while Katie Olfert, Cole and Erica Barnard (1G, 1A) scored later in the period. Emma Power (1G, 1A) halted the run 3:06 into the third but Madison Batch ended any possible hopes of a Balmoral comeback attempt just 27 seconds later. Jillian Matthews (34/36) and Lauren Cherkas (32/40) were in net for their respective teams. Defensemen Audrey Church (4A) and Sadie Isfeld (3A) led Delta Green with four and three points in the victory.Ìý

Porter Dickson opened the scoring for NAX 4:13 in and Charlie Schmitt (1G, 2A) countered 10 minutes later as the first ended 1-1. Jaxon Moss put OHA Edmonton ahead just 1:14 into the second period with his fourth of the season. Cassius McDonald would tie the game midway through the period but Nathan Okoloise scored the eventual game winner for OHA Edmonton just 2:37 later. Kaiden Turta added the lone third period goal and Jaxon Ford (20/22) finished with 20 saves to give OHA Edmonton the 4-2 win.Ìý
King Heights Academy (5/OT) vs Ontario Hockey Academy (4) East U18
Oliver Lacko (2G) opened the scoring with a power play goal before scoring again 1:47 later. Murad Safarov (2G) brought KHA within one heading into the second period where Michael Lacroce and Vytas Lenkutis (2G, 1A) scored early to put their team ahead 3-2. Dmitrii Novikov (1G, 1A) tied the game nine minutes later and Jeremy St. Louis gave OHA the lead 44 seconds after that. The third would start tied 4-4 as Safarov scored his second of the game with 1:36 left in the second. After a scoreless third period in which Jackson Taraborrelli (38/42) stopped 15 shots in net for KHA, Lenkutis scored 1:10 into the extra frame to give King Heights a 5-4 win.Ìý
RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg (6) vs Shawnigan Lake School (8) Female U18 Prep
A high scoring affair saw Shawnigan outshoot RHA Winnipeg 41-32 in an 8-6 win Saturday. Grace Cooper (1G, 2A) and Taya Lonsdale (4G, 1A) scored first period goals as Shawnigan held a two goal advantage after 20. Rowyn Street (2G) got RHA Winnipeg on the board 38 seconds into the second but Lola Macuiba (2G, 1A) responded for Shawnigan just 22 seconds later. Lonsdale would add to the lead 2:43 later before Shayla Scinocca and Sydney Stibbard scored two straight for RHA Winnipeg. Shawnigan would counter with two straight of their own to close out the period as Esme LiChong scored on the power play and Lonsdale completed the hat-trick 15 seconds later. Shea Warnick gave RHA Winnipeg early third period life with her third of the season. Macuiba and Attica Sobering (1G, 1A) traded power play goals as it remained a two goal deficit late in the game. Lonsdale would secure the victory with her fourth of the game, scoring the empty netter with 40 seconds left. Street would round out the scoring with a consolation goal in the dying seconds.Ìý
OHA Edmonton (2) vs Notre Dame (0) U15
Connor Phillips (25/25) made 25 saves for his first CSSHL shutout to lead OHA Edmonton to a 2-0 win over Notre Dame. Phillips and Westyn Hlady (36/37) both kept clean sheets in the first before Boston Smashnuk finally broke through 2:04 into the second to give OHA Edmonton the goal they were looking for. It would remain a 1-0 game until the final minute when Eli Swift took advantage of the Notre Dame empty net and scored his seventh of the season to secure the 2-0 win.Ìý
BWC Academy (6) vs St. George’s School (2) U15 Prep
Kenzo Gibson (2G) scored the lone first period goal and added his second of the game on the power play 5:39 into the second. Justin Moon (1G, 2A) added another BWC Academy power play goal five minutes later to give his team a 3-0 lead. Zach Lam got St. George’s on the board with a shorthanded marker before the second period came to a close. The BWC Academy offence continued to fire on all cylinders in the third as Cohen Baker (2G, 2A) scored early in the period and Logan Henry (1G, 1A) added his 17th midway through the frame. Adam Benn would counter for St. George’s 32 seconds later but another Baker goal shortly after put the game well out of reach. Bentley Edgar (27/29) picked up his sixth win of the season with a 27 save outing.Ìý
Okanagan Hockey Academy (2) vs Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (5) U15 Prep
A power play goal with 33 seconds left in the first by Nate Ellemo put Pacific Coast ahead going into the intermission. Cameron Young-Thompson doubled the lead 3:02 into the second but Gage Mark quickly responded for OHA with a power play 50 seconds later. Sebastian Nuttall (2G, 1A) would add a power play goal of his own with one second left on the clock to restore the PCHA two goal cushion.Ìý Nuttall would score again midway through the third and Dane Dyer added a late shorthanded marker as Pacific Coast held a 5-1 advantage. Xavier Sedor-Steer would score in the final 10 seconds for OHA but it was too little, too late as they suffered the 5-2 defeat. Rio Manhas (38/40) and Brayden Unruh (35/40) each faced 40 shots in their respective nets.Ìý
North Shore Warriors (3) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (4) U17 Prep
Jamie Kirwan and Chase Vossenaar (1G, 1A) traded goals in the first as the period came to a close tied 1-1. Seamus Dillon (2G) scored the lone second period goal as Prairie grabbed a 2-1 lead midway through the hockey game. Kade Kahovec (1G, 1A) doubled the lead 3:25 into the third period as he scored his ninth goal of the season. Samuel Shepard brought North Shore within one midway through the final period. Dillon would restore the two goal cushion five minutes later as Prairie looked to earn the win. North Shore made a late push as Lucas Lekakis (1G, 1A) pulled them within one with 2:45 remaining but their 19 third period shots weren’t enough as Karter Hilbig (24/27) secured the Prairie win. Oscar Hicik (46/50) faced 50 shots in the loss.Ìý
Edge School (0) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (6) Female U18 Prep
RHA Kelowna (13-0-0) continues to cruise through the Female U18 Prep division as they beat Edge (6-9-0) 6-0 Saturday. Ava Drabyk (18/18) and Aelxis Ehrman (42/48) kept clean sheets through the first 22 minutes until Jillian McLaughlin (1G, 1A) broke through for RHA Kelowna 2:01 into the second. Alida Korte (1G, 1A) and Callie Rice added power play goals to give their team a 3-0 lead going into the third. Danica Maynard (2G, 1A) scored shorthanded 40 seconds into the final frame, duplicating the feat again midway through the period. Kennedy Sisson added a power play goal in between the Maynard shorthanded markers to round out the scoring.Ìý
CIH Academy (4) vs Bourget College (5) East U18
Zak Lapierre (1G, 1A) and Mathys Morrissette (2G) scored 1:12 apart as Bourget grabbed a 2-0 lead just 3:25 into the game. Andrei Chumakov got CIH Academy on the board midway through the period with a power play marker. Morrisette would restore the two goal lead 5:05 into the second though Saif Alexander-Pardhan quickly responded 2:46 later. William Sasseville (2G) found the back of the net with 40 seconds left in the period as Bourget led 4-2 heading into the final 20. Justin Savage (1G, 1A) brought his team within one early in the third but Sasseville scored the eventual game winner with 2:31 left to play. Noah Picken would make it a one goal game with 1:18 left but CIH Academy was unable to find an equaliser in the final moments.Ìý
South Alberta Hockey Academy (5) vs North Shore Warriors (2) Female U18 Prep
Backed by three power play goals and 45 shots on net, SAHA defeated North Shore 5-2. Keyana Bert and Teylor Crocker (3G) scored power play goals 2:27 apart early in the first to give SAHA the 2-0 advantage. Elise Miller got North Shore on the board late in the opening period. Crocker added the final SAHA power play goal early in the second before Myla Motz scored the first SAHA even strength goal late in the period. Crocker would complete the hat-trick early in the third to give her team a commanding 5-1 lead. Castilla Rubin would score a power play goal shortly after for North Shore but they were unable to muster anything more as they suffered a 5-2 defeat. Hannah Palumbo (18/20) was credited with the win.Ìý
Pilot Mound Hockey Academy (4) vs Notre Dame (2) U15 Prep
After a scoreless first period Kai Dingwall and Matsun Adams scored 1:27 apart as Pilot Mound went up 2-0. Matthew Boekelder would score the first Notre Dame goal shorthanded with 52 seconds left in the period. Matteo Grieco scored the game winning goal 11:37 into the final period. Davian Ferland would quickly respond for Notre Dame, bringing his team back within one just 28 seconds later. Pilot Mound would secure the win with an empty net goal by Cole Landreville with 2:10 remaining. Gavin Hildebrand (25/27) and Ben Meyer (25/28) were credited with the result in net.Ìý
Delta Hockey Academy White (5) vs STAR Hockey Academy (3) U15
Delta White outshot STAR 23-10 in the first and had a 1-0 lead to show for as defenseman Nathan Roberts (2G, 2A) scored his first of the season. Roberts scored again midway through the second and Marco Robin and Jayden Ni (2G) each added goals as Delta White was in full control heading into the third. The momentum would start to shift in the third as Riley O’Brien and Benton Fuller (1G, 1A) scored 26 seconds apart and Olan Ward added his ninth of the season as STAR trailed by one. Ni would shut down any comeback attempt as he scored his second of the game and 22nd of the season with 1:26 left to play to secure the Delta White victory.Ìý
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (5) vs Shawnigan Lake School (1) U15 Prep

Kaius Millan tied the game 1:34 into the second and Alexander Sharman scored the game winner midway through the game. Luca Vaugeois scored 1:47 into the third before Channon Fummerton (2G) tallied two straight as RHA Kelowna scored five unanswered to overcome the early deficit and earn the 5-1 win. Gunner Podollan (18/19) made just 18 saves for the win while Donagh Esler-Twiss (34/39) faced 39 shots in the loss.ÌýÌý
Northern Alberta Xtreme (2) vs Delta Hockey Academy (6) U17 Prep
Jack Morgan’s (2G) 13th goal of the season opened the scoring for Delta while Kalton Mortson (2G) tied it with his first seven minutes later. Mortson scored again 16 seconds into the second as NAX grabbed a 2-1 lead but it was all Delta from that point on. Kishan Saggu tied the game minutes later and Caden Leibel (2G, 2A) and Bryson Roberts each scored power play goals as Delta was ahead 4-2 going into the third. Leibel would add another power play goal in the third and Morgan would score 1:14 later as Delta took home a 6-2 win. Matthew Wong (25/27) made 25 saves for his 11th win of the season.Ìý
Calgary International Hockey Academy (5) vs Prairie Hockey Academy (1) U15
A power play goal by Loic Lebel put CIHA ahead after 20 minutes of play. Liam Nycholat (1G, 1A) and Joyesh Ghosh scored 2:10 apart as CIHA increased their lead to 3-0. Noah Delaurier would get Prairie on the board with just over five minutes left in the period but it was countered by a Reid Grierson power play marker. Brik McCord Cooper (1G, 1A) scored the lone third period goal and third CIHA power play tally to round out the scoring and give his team the 5-1 win. Alexandre Montembeault (9/10) and Patrick Curtis (65/70) were in net for their respective teams.Ìý
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy (8) vs St. George’s School (3) U15
Despite being outshot 49-43, Pacific Coast earned an 8-3 win over St. George’s Saturday evening. Pacific Coast came flying out the gate scoring six straight goals, including four in the first. Hudson Leak and Alan Qui scored 1:14 apart midway through the game to stop the run but Caden Sugiyama and Kaz Westcott (3G, 1A) got PCHA back on track in the third. Minsoo Lee (1G, 1A) would add a St. George’s goal less than a minute later but it was nothing more than a stat padder in the lopsided defeat. Timothy Nemeth (5A) and Shay Van Slyke (46/49) played key roles in the win for Pacific Coast.Ìý
Okanagan Hockey Academy (4) vs BWC Academy (3) U15
Jett Wood (2G) and Carter Yule (2G) traded first period goals as it was a tie game heading into the second. Wood and Jake Gates scored power play goals 3:07 apart midway through the second as OHA took a 3-1 lead into the third. Grayson Holmes (1G, 1A) scored the eventual game winner 8:05 into the third period. Yule and Wyatt Lowther (1G, 1A) would score less than two minutes apart as BWC Academy made a third period push but Deakon Beaudry (27/30) shut the door the rest of the way as OHA held on for the 4-3 win.Ìý
Calgary International Hockey Academy (1) vs RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (2) U17 Prep
Neither team scored in the opening period as Asher Netherton (28/29) and Braxton Gibson (41/43) kept the game scoreless through the first 38 minutes of play. Zachery Hall would open the scoring with 1:57 left in the second as CIHA was up by one going into the third. Preston Kelly-Paquet tied the game 1:14 into the final frame and Nate MacPhee scored the game winner 6:38 later as RHA Kelowna turned the one goal deficit into a one goal lead, and eventual win.
Notre Dame (2) vs Edge School (9) U17
Darius Odermatt (3G) opened the scoring 2:14 in for Edge School. Robbie Williamson tied the game midway through the first but Jacob Kuntz (1G, 2A) replied 33 seconds later to restore the lead. Odermatt and Kellen Palmer-Johnson traded goals to close out the period as it was a one goal Edge lead. But the final 40 would tell a different story as Edge scored six straight to grab a 9-2 win. Noah Brade (3A) and Ben MacBey (3A) tied Kuntz and Odermatt for the team lead with three points each in the win while Emerson Popil (31/33) made 31 saves to earn the win.Ìý
North Shore Warriors (1) vs Delta Hockey Academy (5) U15 Prep
Delta outshot North Shore 57-15 en route to a 5-1 win. Peter Banicevic (1G, 1A) and Colton Brum gave Delta an early 2-0 lead, though Riley Taylor countered for North Shore a few minutes later. Tripp Fischer (1G, 1A) added a power play goal in the second while Casey Pearson and Beckett Lim scored 14 seconds apart midway through the third to round out the scoring.
Edge School (9) vs OHA Edmonton (5) U15 Prep
A high scoring affair started 23 seconds in when Charlie Tobin gave the visitors the early edge. Easton Perzylo extended the lead six minutes later while Brayden Tucker (1G, 2A) got OHA Edmonton on the board 2:16 after that. Grayson Trevelyan (2G) restored the two goal lead 42 seconds into the second, but Austin Blackmore (2G) scored two goals in 17 seconds to tie it and Liam McFadden put OHA Edmonton ahead 1:23 later. Luke Huska (2G, 1A) and Josh Frazer (1G, 1A) would trade goals before Huska added his second of the game less than two minutes later to even the score heading into the third. Edge would take over in the third as Remy Koch (2G, 2A) scored twice and Trevelyan and Ellis Martschuk (1G, 1A) each scored once to give their team the 9-5 win.Ìý
OHA Edmonton (4) vs Yale Hockey Academy (5/SO) U17 Prep
Defenseman Iljas Hasuew (2G) scored 1:58 into the first and Cash Brebant and Owen Morrow scored late in the second as OHA Edmonton seemed in total control with a 3-0 lead. The tide would begin to change just 1:07 later as Kessler Hauser got Yale on the board late in the second. Matteo Di Stefano (2G) and Seth Castronuovo each scored early in the final frame to tie the game. Hasuew would score late to put OHA Edmonton back in front but Di Stefano tied the game on the power play with 38 seconds left, forcing overtime. After OT solved nothing Castronuovo scored the lone shootout goal and Jason Ho (37/41) stopped all three OHA Edmonton shooters as Yale completed the comeback and earned a 5-4 win.Ìý
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (3) vs Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy (0) U18 Prep
Conner Nicolson (32/32) made32 saves for his third shutout of the season as RHA Kelowna beat CDA 3-0. Nicolson and Bennett Byers (50/53) kept both teams off the scoreboard in the opening 20. Aidan Fisher would score the first and game winning goal 13:02 into the second. Dominik Silbernagel (1G, 1A) and Ryan Sadovia added third period goals to close out a 3-0 win.Ìý
RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna (5) vs North Shore Warriors (2) U17
Despite being outshot 15-10 in the first North Shore led 1-0 after 20 thanks to Rock Oosterveld’s ninth of the season. Colton Deschamps (2G, 1A) tied the game 2:26 into the second with a power play marker and Kesler Hamilton put RHA Kelowna ahead midway through the game. Kayden Runstedler evened the score 51 seconds into the third before North Shore ran into penalty trouble. Mason Alexander (1G, 1A) and Bradley Keightley would score power play goals less than two minutes apart to put RHA Kelowna ahead and Deschamps added a late empty netter to secure the victory. William Stewart (33/35) made 33 saves in net for the win.Ìý
Edge School (5/SO) vs Okanagan Hockey Academy (4) U17 Prep
In a back and forth contest Trey Tourigny got the party started 5:34 in with his sixth of the year. Edge countered with two goals from James Matheos (2G), with the first one being a shorthanded tally. Ben Fragle levelled the score 21 seconds into the second before Jack Bissoon (1G, 1A) restored the Edge lead heading into the third. Ashton McCann (1G, 2A) doubled the lead as Edge looked set to earn a 4-2 win. But Luke Assi (1G, 1A) scored with 1:02 left and Maxx Parfitt tied the game with 29 seconds remaining to force extra time. The game would be settled in the sixth round of the shootout when Izayah Zaharko beat Charlie Peppinck (33/37) to give Edge the 5-4 win. Kurtis Stajkowski (36/40) was in net for the win.
